The Indiana Pacers announced they have signed Damien Wilkins.
It was reported back in late July that Indy was going to ink Wilkins to a non-guaranteed, one-year deal and it became official on Tuesday. Wilkins, who is 37, hasn't played in an NBA game since April of 2013. Even if he does end up making the 15-man roster, it is unlikely he cracks the Pacers rotation. Thus, Wilkins can be ignored in all fantasy formats. Aug 15 - 1:33 PM

Damien Wilkins will sign a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum to join the Pacers according to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.

Well, we didn't see this one coming. Wilkins is 37 and hasn't played in the NBA since the 2012-13 season. Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star is reporting that the deal isn't guaranteed, so he's not a lock to make the 15-man roster, let alone crack the rotation. With career averages of 6.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.8 steals, fantasy owners can leave Wilkins off their draft boards.

NBA veteran Damien Wilkins is expected to join the Greensboro Swarm of the D-League.

Wilkins signed with the Hornets before the start of the 2015-16 season, and he's still trying to claw his way back into the NBA over a year later. It's going to be a long but not impossible road ahead.

The Hornets announced that they signed Damien Wilkins on Friday.

Wilkins is getting a "preseason look", but there is a chance that he could make the final roster with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist on the shelf. Wilkins is 35 years old and has career averages of just 6.3 points, 1.7 boards and 1.5 assists, so there is no reason to pay him any attention in fantasy leagues.

The Hornets are signing Damien Wilkins for training camp, according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer.

Wilkins is getting a "preseason look," and this is likely the result of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (shoulder) now being out for an undetermined period of time. Even if Wilkins makes the team, he won't be a fantasy option in any format.

Damien Wilkins has been invited to Hawks training camp.

He played with the Sixers last season and made some noise late in the season, but at this point, he'll simply be trying to make an NBA roster. Ignore him on draft night, although it is possible the Hawks are looking at him as a potential replacement for Lou Williams, who has been slow to recover from knee surgery.

Damien Wilkins is still starting for the Sixers, but is playing terribly, missing all seven of his shots on Wednesday to finish with six points and four assists in 23 minutes.

That's three straight games with seven points or less, while Nick Young is suddenly on fire. Make the switch if you need a hot player.

Damien Wilkins hit just 1-of-5 shots for five points in 22 minutes on Tuesday.

The Nets dominated the game and Wilkins is no longer hot, especially as Nick Young continues to come on for the Sixers. Young had 18 tonight, but as long as Wilkins continues to start for the Sixers, he's still worth a look in some fantasy leagues.

Damien Wilkins had a quiet game vs. the Heat, scoring seven points on 3-of-10 shooting, with three rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes.

Playing time wasn't an issue tonight, but Nick Young (10 points) logged 21 minutes and he could spoil Wilkins' value if his role continues to increase. Just keep an eye on the situation for now, as Doug Collins seems very fond of the veteran Wilkins.

Damien Wilkins scored 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in Friday's win over the Hawks.

Wilkins has been getting it done in fantasy leagues and he should be owned in all formats right now.

Damien Wilkins stayed hot with 20 points and nine rebounds in Tuesday's loss to the Bobcats.

Wilkins has quietly left Dorell Wright and Nick Young in his wake, earning 30-plus minutes nightly with defense and intelligent play. Over the last seven games, he's averaging 16.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists. Dominique's nephew is well worth owning as the Sixers play out the string.

Damien Wilkins scored 15 points (6-of-10 shooting) with four rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes on Saturday, joining five other Sixers in double-figures.

Philly has suddenly won four straight games, though it provides little more than good vibes for a ninth-place team with no realistic chance of making the playoffs. Doug Collins isn't wavering in Wilkins as the starting SG, which makes Wilkins a viable option if he's still floating on your waiver wire.

Damien Wilkins played 38 minutes against the Cavs on Friday, scoring just seven points with three boards, six assists, one steal and two blocks.

As far as guys go that are averaging just 15 minutes per game this year, he's been on a mini tear and averaged 18.0 points and 2.0 steals in his previous four. He's not going to be getting any shoe deals or anything, but he's worth owning in standard leagues. Dorell Wright played just 21 minutes and scored three points, so he's clearly trending down.

Damien Wilkins stayed hot on Wednesday with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 7-of-15 shooting.

He had 17 points and a full stat line on Sunday and has been rolling for several games now. As long as he's starting for the Sixers, he's worth owning in most fantasy leagues. And yes, it felt weird to write that.
Wed, Mar 27, 2013 09:35:00 PM

Damien Wilkins' hot streak continued with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in Sunday's win vs. the Kings.

Wilkins shot 6-of-13 from the field with one 3-pointer and zero turnovers in almost 40 minutes of action. Doug Collins appreciates the 33-year-old's consistent energy and there have been no suggestions that Wilkins might lose the starting SG job. Give him a look if you need a low-end source of fantasy value -- he averaged 11.5 points per game in March, with 0.8 threes, 2.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks
