The Timberwolves worked out James Anderson and Joey Graham on Wednesday.
The team is looking for a replacement for Josh Howard (torn ACL), but no matter who is signed, they won't bring fantasy value to the table. Thu, Dec 27, 2012 08:32:00 AM

He was an afterthought in Cleveland to begin with and could have trouble finding a job in the NBA this season.

The Cavaliers will likely waive forward Joey Graham before July 16.

If not, Graham's $1.1 million contract will be fully guaranteed for next season. On a related note, Alonzo Gee, Manny Harris and Samardo Samuels are all on completely unguaranteed deals, though they will all be invited to training camp.

Joey Graham came off the bench for 14 points and six rebounds in Friday's loss.

He was knocking down clutch jumpers and jawing with the Nuggets, likely earing some respect from Byron Scott. It remains to be seen if it will result in more playing time, but he's at least worth a look in deep leagues if he can stay hot.

Joey Graham played 29 minutes off the bench on Saturday, scoring six points on 2-of-7 shooting with five rebounds, two steals, and three blocks.

If you're in a deep league just watch him for now. The Cavs have so many injury situations and with 16 straight losses, just about anything could happen with their rotation or roster.

Joey Graham returned from a quad injury on Friday and had six points and three turnovers in 12 minutes.

He could end up starting at some point, but we see no reason he should be owned in fantasy leagues right now.

Joey Graham (quad) is expected to play in Friday's game against the Bucks.

Graham has missed 16 straight games and figure to be eased back in slowly. Once healthy, he'll give the Cavs a rugged presence for 15-20 minutes off the bench.

Cavaliers forward Joey Graham (strained quad) has begun running and could return soon.

Graham, Daniel Gibson (ankle) and Christian Eyenga (ankle) could all return as early as Wednesday, which is fantastic news for the injury-ravaged Cavs.

Cavaliers forward Joey Graham (strained right quad) will not play on Saturday.

Graham remains day-to-day, but the Cavs have bigger problems. Already missing Anderson Varejao, they are in danger of also being without Mo Williams and Daniel Gibson, both of whom are game-time decisions.

Joey Graham (quad) will remain sidelined for Tuesday's game.

Graham had a chance to return on Tuesday, but will now miss his sixth straight game. When healthy, he has averaged just 6.2 points in 18 minutes per game this month.

Cavaliers swingman Joey Graham (quad) could return to action on Tuesday against the Magic.

He has a long way to go before being valuable in fantasy leagues, and in Byron Scott's new, shorter rotation there's no guarantee he even plays when he returns.

Cavaliers swingman Joey Graham is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a strained right quad.

Graham said he feels fine, "but the MRI says something different." He says he plans to return sooner than the official timetable -- while he's out Jawad Williams is picking up extra minutes, and Jamario Moon is on the active roster.

Joey Graham is doubtful to play on Saturday and could miss a week with a bruised quad.

Graham suffered a similar injury in training camp and missed one week. Jawad Williams took his spot off the bench, as Byron Scott has been limiting his rotation to eight players.

Cavaliers forward Joey Graham (right quadriceps strain) has been ruled out for Friday's game.

Bryon Scott says that Graham's injury "could be worse than originally thought," which doesn't bode well. Guys like Jamario Moon, Jawad Williams and Anthony Parker could pick up a few extra minutes while Graham recovers.
