Nate Robinson played just six minutes against the Pistons on Wednesday with three points, one assist and no turnovers.
He had his explosiveness in his brief time in the lineup, but the Nuggets will obviously be limiting his minutes. Robinson won't have fantasy value for a while. Oct 30 - 1:57 AM

Nate Robinson started at PG in place of Ty Lawson (hamstring) on Tuesday, but he finished with just four points and two assists in nine minutes.

Denver's medical staff had Nate on a 15-minute limit, which should slowly increase during the first few weeks of the regular season. The 30-year-old is coming back from ACL surgery, and his backup role all but guarantees he won't help fantasy owners.
Oct 22 - 12:28 AM

Nate Robinson will start at PG for the Nuggets on Tuesday, in place of injured Ty Lawson (hamstring).

Robinson appears to be fully recovered from his knee surgery, while JaVale McGee is a game-time decision as he makes his way back from a leg injury. Along with Robinson, Arron Afflalo, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried and Timofey Mozgov.
Oct 21 - 7:42 PM

Nate Robinson will not play on Thursday.

It's just some rest after his debut to the lineup last week. Robinson will only be a backup and is not worth drafting in most leagues.
Oct 16 - 1:45 PM

Nate Robinson played nine minutes in his return to the lineup on Friday, scoring two points on 1-of-4 from the field.

He had ACL surgery to end his season and returned much quicker than most. Robinson is going to back up Ty Lawson, so he won't have much fantasy value.
Oct 11 - 12:45 AM

Nate Robinson (knee surgery) will make his preseason debut on Friday vs. the Suns.

Robinson will be on a 15-minute limit as the Nuggets ease him back into the flow of things. KryptoNate is an exciting guy to watch, but as long as Ty Lawson is healthy, Robinson isn't going to be worth owning in standard leagues.
Oct 10 - 3:33 PM

Nate Robinson (knee surgery) is hopeful to play against the Suns on Friday.

He is getting close to returning to action and has been at practice. Robinson is an athletic freak, but the Nuggets will still manage his minutes. Fantasy owners can leave him on the wire while Ty Lawson is healthy.
Oct 8 - 8:08 PM

Nate Robinson (knee surgery) will be held out of the Nuggets game against the Lakers.

He is being held out as a precaution and the Nuggets are going to be cautious with him moving forward. If Ty Lawson's ankle gives him any trouble, Robinson may be asked to play a bigger role. He'll need to stay healthy and prove that he is still a spark on offense, but even so he's unlikely to hold lasting value in standard formats.
Oct 5 - 6:14 PM

Nate Robinson (knee surgery) is unlikely to play against the Lakers on Monday night, according to coach Brian Shaw.

He's been able to go through some practice and it would appear he'll be ready for the season opener. The Nuggets added some depth on the wing, so Robinson will likely serve as just a backup and not play much next to Ty Lawson. Fantasy owners can ignore him in most cases.
Oct 2 - 7:49 PM

Nate Robinson, who is coming off left knee ACL surgery, is expected to participate in some contact drills on Wednesday.

This will be a big test for Robinson, but regardless of how well tomorrow goes, it's hard to see him doing much in real games before Christmas.
Oct 1 - 9:40 PM

Nate Robinson (knee) expressed his desire to re-sign with the Denver Nuggets after the 2014-15 season.

"I believe so," Robinson said when asked if he'd like to stay with Denver. "I'm too old to be moving around too much more. I would love to be here if they would love to have me." The 30-year-old helped provide a spark off the bench for the Nuggets before going down with an ACL tear and has a chance at being ready for the season opener. While Robinson can provide some value in extremely deep fantasy leagues, his 19.7 minutes per game in 2013-14 should have owners in standard leagues looking elsewhere.

Sep 30 - 11:40 AM

Nate Robinson (knee) posted a video of himself dunking on Friday.

He's on track for training camp and this video fits right in with that timetable. Robinson tore his ACL on Jan. 29, so he probably won't be at full speed to start the year. Although, he's a freak athlete and may be able to get back to 100 percent faster than guys like Lou Williams or Rajon Rondo. Nate is not worth drafting in most leagues until he's consistently in the mid-20s for minutes.
Aug 16 - 4:04 PM

The Nuggets announced that Nate Robinson has exercised his player option for next season.

He was having a solid season with the Nuggets last year, but his ACL tear really forced his hand to not hit free agency. Robinson had surgery back on Jan. 31, so he will at least have an outside chance of being ready for the 2014 season opener. Of course, fantasy owners shouldn't be targeting him since it will likely take some time before he's 100 percent.

Nate Robinson will exercise his $2.1 million player option to stay with the Nuggets next season.

The 30-year-old guard is recovering from ACL surgery but he said he will "for sure" be ready for training camp, and he'll have plenty of motivation in a contract year. He's recently been promoting his autobiography, Heart Over Height, an appropriate title for the 5'9" three-time NBA Slam Dunk champion.
Jun 22 - 5:28 PM

Nate Robinson (ACL surgery) is planning on returning to the Nuggets for the 2014-15 season.

Robinson has a $2.1 million player option that he will have to exercise in order to return to the Nuggets and it sounds as if he's planning on doing so. When asked if he'd be ready for training camp, Robinson answered, "Yeah, for sure." While Robinson could be a decent option in deeper leagues next season, he won't be helping any fantasy squads this season.
