Nate Robinson (back) returned to action for the Nuggets on Sunday and scored just two points on 1-of-7 shooting while adding two boards and two assists in 15 minutes.
He didn't look comfortable out there and it is possible that his back is still bothering him. Robinson will only see a limited role off of the bench for the Nuggets this season and won't be worth owning unless Ty Lawson goes down with an injury. Robinson can be left on the wire in most leagues. Dec 14 - 11:04 PM

Nate Robinson (back) will play Sunday vs. the Spurs.

Nate will help backup Ty Lawson, but he's currently averaging just 5.5 points and 1.8 assists on the season while shooting 34.5 percent from the field. He's not a viable option in standard leagues as long as Lawson is healthy.
Dec 14 - 6:57 PM

Nate Robinson (back) likely won't play in Sunday's game against the Spurs, even though he was able to dress for Saturday's game.

He was on the Nuggets bench Saturday, but coach Brian Shaw opted not to risk Robinson's health as he is still struggling with his back injury. "I had a pretty bad knee to the back," Robinson said. "It's probably one of the worst pains I've ever felt in live action, besides playing football. But me, if I'm not playing, I'm really hurt." Coach Shaw also stressed that he preferred that Robinson make it through a practice first before he would think about playing him, so this news suggest that Robinson will probably sit out on Sunday, though he will still probably dress.

Dec 14 - 10:03 AM

Nate Robinson (back) said that he will be active for Saturday's game against the Rockets.

He is the only other capable point guard behind Ty Lawson, so coach Brian Shaw probably won't hesitate to use him. However, Robinson doesn't have a large enough role to matter in most leagues and belongs on the waiver wire for now.
Dec 13 - 1:31 PM

Nate Robinson (back) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. Houston.

The Nuggets could really use another ball handler behind Ty Lawson, so the Nuggets will desperately hope that he can play. Robinson still won't see enough minutes to matter in most leagues even if he is healthy, so he should be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.
Dec 13 - 12:17 PM

Nate Robinson (back) will not play in Wednesday's game vs. the Heat.

He hasn't been a factor off of the bench for the Nuggets this season, and won't be relevant unless Ty Lawson goes down with an injury. Gary Harris and Erick Green will help handle the ball behind Lawson in the meantime. Robinson should be left on the wire in almost all leagues.
Dec 10 - 1:34 PM

Nate Robinson (back) will not play on Monday against the Raptors.

The Nuggets will use Gary Harris and Erick Green to help out in the backcourt. Robinson hasn't really been a big factor off the bench and won't have much value while Ty Lawson is healthy.
Dec 8 - 6:14 PM

Nate Robinson (back) is out for Sunday's game against the Hawks.

He had to leave Friday's game after suffering the injury, so this comes as no surprise. Ty Lawson will have to play big minutes in his absence, and we may also get another good look at rookie Gary Harris. Robinson should be cut in almost all leagues.
Dec 7 - 11:59 AM

Nate Robinson (back) left Friday's game and did not return in a loss to the Wizards, finishing with six points and one 3-pointer in 11 minutes.

He took a knee to the back on a foul by Rasual Butler, and he was visibly in a lot of pain. "I've never had anything like this," Robinson said. "That's the hardest knee I ever took in my life." The team is officially listing him as day-to-day, and we will provide an update as needed. Robinson does not have a large enough role to matter in most leagues, so owners can safely leave him on the waiver wire.

Dec 6 - 9:37 AM

Nate Robinson (knee) logged 10 minutes and scored nine points with four assists off the bench on Monday.

Robinson hit 3-of-7 shots and all three of his makes were from beyond the arc. He's good for an eruption like this every once in a while but he needs an injury ahead of him to get the breathing room he needs in fantasy leagues.
Nov 17 - 9:31 PM

Nate Robinson will play on Monday night against the Cavs.

He was supposed to sit in the second night of a back-to-back set, but apparently getting blown out on Sunday may have changed that. Robinson only played 10 minutes on Sunday and is unlikely to play more than 20 minutes tonight.
Nov 17 - 5:35 PM

Nate Robinson could play on Monday, according to coach Brian Shaw.

He's still not expected to play and we'll be monitoring this one until tip. Robinson wouldn't get more than 20 minutes anyway, so there's no reason to use him tonight.
Nov 17 - 5:14 PM

Nate Robinson (rest) will miss Monday's game against the Cavs.

Robinson is not cleared to play in back-to-back games yet, so he'll miss Monday's affair with Cleveland. Ty Lawson will continue to play big minutes at point guard for the Nuggets.

Nov 17 - 11:00 AM

Nate Robinson will not have a minutes restriction.

He played 26 minutes in a start on Friday and has been active while he's on the floor in 15.5 minutes per game. Robinson won't see much more than around 20 minutes while Ty Lawson is healthy, so he can be left on the wire in most leagues.
Nov 12 - 2:07 PM

Nate Robinson could have his minutes cap increased in the near future.

It could happen as soon as Wednesday. Currently limited to just 20 minutes per game after reconstructive knee surgery, NateRob could begin playing more minutes as early as this week. There's nothing set in stone, but if Robinson can increase his playing time, he may see a bump in role with Ty Lawson (ankle) and the Nuggets both struggling to start the season.
