Nate Robinson (knee) logged 10 minutes and scored nine points with four assists off the bench on Monday.
Robinson hit 3-of-7 shots and all three of his makes were from beyond the arc. He's good for an eruption like this every once in a while but he needs an injury ahead of him to get the breathing room he needs in fantasy leagues. Nov 17 - 9:31 PM

Date:

Nate Robinson will play on Monday night against the Cavs.

He was supposed to sit in the second night of a back-to-back set, but apparently getting blown out on Sunday may have changed that. Robinson only played 10 minutes on Sunday and is unlikely to play more than 20 minutes tonight.
Nov 17 - 5:35 PM

Nate Robinson could play on Monday, according to coach Brian Shaw.

He's still not expected to play and we'll be monitoring this one until tip. Robinson wouldn't get more than 20 minutes anyway, so there's no reason to use him tonight.
Nov 17 - 5:14 PM

Nate Robinson (rest) will miss Monday's game against the Cavs.

Robinson is not cleared to play in back-to-back games yet, so he'll miss Monday's affair with Cleveland. Ty Lawson will continue to play big minutes at point guard for the Nuggets.

Nov 17 - 11:00 AM

Nate Robinson will not have a minutes restriction.

He played 26 minutes in a start on Friday and has been active while he's on the floor in 15.5 minutes per game. Robinson won't see much more than around 20 minutes while Ty Lawson is healthy, so he can be left on the wire in most leagues.
Nov 12 - 2:07 PM

Nate Robinson could have his minutes cap increased in the near future.

It could happen as soon as Wednesday. Currently limited to just 20 minutes per game after reconstructive knee surgery, NateRob could begin playing more minutes as early as this week. There's nothing set in stone, but if Robinson can increase his playing time, he may see a bump in role with Ty Lawson (ankle) and the Nuggets both struggling to start the season.

Nov 10 - 9:19 AM

Nate Robinson's hamstring injury didn't prevent him from logging 14 minutes off the bench vs. Portland, scoring six points with one 3-pointer, one assist and one steal.

Nate is still rehabbing his surgically-repaired knee but he's determined to play through his injuries as the Nuggets look to recover from a disastrous 1-5 start to the season. As long as Ty Lawson's ankles hold up, however, there aren't enough minutes for Nate to have fantasy relevance.
Nov 9 - 11:58 PM

Nate Robinson (hamstring) will play on Sunday, though he will come off the bench due to Ty Lawson's (ankle) return to action.

While it is good to see Robinson able to play through the pain, he won't see enough run to be relevant in most fantasy leagues now that Lawson is back. you can safely leave him on the waiver wire.
Nov 9 - 7:49 PM

Nate Robinson is determined to keep playing as he's not letting knee rehab and a hamstring injury keep him out of the lineup.

"I want to play through injury; I don't care," Robinson said. "But I want to be here for the long run, I want to be here for the rest of the season, so I don't want to tweak anything else. Just take it day by day." Robinson got the start on Friday with Ty Lawson (ankle) out of the lineup, so it will interesting to see how they both feel on Sunday, as Robinson would likely draw another start if Lawson can't go. Stay tuned.

Nov 9 - 11:58 AM

Nate Robinson started for injured Ty Lawson (ankle) on Friday, scoring 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting (including two threes) with zero rebounds, five assists and one steal in 26 minutes.

Lawson isn't sure if he'll play Sunday and Robinson tweaked his hamstring but said that he would be playing on Sunday. We're keeping him off the injury report unless news worsens. Randy Foye went nuts for 28 points and nine assists and he'll be the better short-term play if Lawson can't go, but Nate is a pretty good bet to post similar numbers if he gets another crack at starting.
Nov 8 - 4:32 AM

Nate Robinson will start at point guard against the Cavs on Friday.

Ty Lawson (ankle) has some soreness and it's unclear how much time he'll miss. We'll get an idea of how healthy Robinson is from his ACL surgery last season and he's worth a look in deeper leagues for now.
Nov 7 - 10:03 PM

Nate Robinson is still only cleared for just 20 minutes, and there is no word on when that minutes restriction will change.

He only played 13 minutes on Saturday, and managed just three points, one rebound, and one assists. Until Robinson has a bigger role with the Nuggets, he won't have much fantasy value, and can be ignored in almost all leagues.

Nov 2 - 10:55 AM

Nate Robinson played just six minutes against the Pistons on Wednesday with three points, one assist and no turnovers.

He had his explosiveness in his brief time in the lineup, but the Nuggets will obviously be limiting his minutes. Robinson won't have fantasy value for a while.
Oct 30 - 1:57 AM

Nate Robinson started at PG in place of Ty Lawson (hamstring) on Tuesday, but he finished with just four points and two assists in nine minutes.

Denver's medical staff had Nate on a 15-minute limit, which should slowly increase during the first few weeks of the regular season. The 30-year-old is coming back from ACL surgery, and his backup role all but guarantees he won't help fantasy owners.
Oct 22 - 12:28 AM

Nate Robinson will start at PG for the Nuggets on Tuesday, in place of injured Ty Lawson (hamstring).

Robinson appears to be fully recovered from his knee surgery, while JaVale McGee is a game-time decision as he makes his way back from a leg injury. Along with Robinson, Arron Afflalo, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried and Timofey Mozgov.
