Travis Diener will play for Dinamo Sassari in Italy this season.
Diener says the Bucks, Cavs and Bulls all showed interest, but he didn't want to be the third point guard again. Now he's going to be playing tax free in the island of Sardinia. We're jealous. Tue, Aug 17, 2010 10:36:00 AM

Travis Diener (toe) returned to action Sunday, and managed three points and one assist in 10 minutes of action.

It's doubtful that Diener will have any fantasy value this year, even if the Pacers go through yet another lineup change.

Pacers guard Travis Diener (toe) has resumed shooting drills, but it's not clear when he might return.

Diener can't seem to shake this toe injury, but even when healthy he's the Pacers third PG.

Reserve PG Travis Diener has undergone successful surgery on his left big toe. He is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks.

Diener missed all of preseason and has not played at all in the regular season. Last season, he averaged 3.7 points as a backup. This year he is unlikely to be a factor even when healthy.

Point Guard Travis Diener has exercised his player option to remain with the Pacers for the upcoming season.

This was a smart move by Diener, who will continue to play behind Jarrett Jack and T.J. Ford for as long as both players remain with the Pacers.

Coach Jim O'Brien told the Indianapolis Star that Travis Diener has lost a consistent spot in the rotation, because he has stopped starting Jarrett Jack and T.J. Ford together.

Diener has had his moments this year, but moving T.J. Ford to the bench made him the third point guard, and not a backup guard in a two point guard set. He has no value in fantasy leagues as a result.

Travis Diener returned from a toe injury on Sunday, finishing with five points and five assists in 20 minutes off the Pacers bench.

The injury doesn't appear to be serious, but Diener hasn't had value in average leagues this season and he's not about to start.

Backup point guard Travis Diener played just six minutes against the Hawks after injuring his toe in the second quarter.

"He said he was willing to give it a go second half, but guys banged up I prefer not to ask them to limp out there," coach Jim O'Brien said. Consider Diener day-to-day and look for Jarrett Jack to get some extra run if his injury lingers.

Travis Diener returned from a chest ailment in Saturday's loss to the Clippers, coming off Indiana's bench for five points and two assists in 16 minutes.

Diener has been solid as a backup PG, but his fantasy value is extremely muted as long as T.J. Ford and Jarrett Jack are both healthy.
Sun, Mar 8, 2009 01:24:00 AM

Travis Diener is questionable for Saturday's game at the Clippers with a chest problem related to an internal viral infection.

Diener has been excellent lately, but the problem is making him very iffy for Saturday. That would just mean more minutes for T.J. Ford and Jarrett Jack.

Travis Diener sat out the second half of Wednesday's game due to a chest injury.

The Pacers are calling Diener day-to-day, and there's likely to be more word on his status Friday if you happen to be in a league deep enough to make Diener worth owning.
