Ronnie Price, who has missed 12 games due to toe surgery, could return to action for the Suns next week.
Price's return could have an impact on Archie Goodwin and Devin Booker, but we doubt it will be big enough to cause a panic if you own them. Price is also not a player we're interested in telling you to pick up, unless you're in a 30-team league, and then it might even be a stretch. But with Brandon Knight likely out through the All-Star break, Price could see some decent minutes off the bench in order to keep Goodwin and Booker fresh. Feb 4 - 2:31 PM

Ronnie Price had successful right toe surgery on Friday.

The surgery was to remove loose bodies in his right great big toe. Price is expected to resume basketball activities around the All-Star break, so he may be out until March. Devin Booker and Archie Goodwin will play more.
Jan 15 - 6:07 PM

Ronnie Price (toe) will undergo surgery on a bone chip in his right big toe on Friday, and he is expected to miss at least the next three weeks of action.

Price had been playing very well for Phoenix since the Eric Bledsoe (knee) injury, but now he'll add his name to the injury report for the next three weeks, and he can be dropped in most formats with this news. Brandon Knight is going to be forced into major minutes as the only true starting point guard on the roster, with Archie Goodwin and Lorenzo Brown having the opportunity for some extended run off the bench. Devin Booker will continue to start at the two-spot with Price out.

Ronnie Price (sprained right toe) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Pacers.

With Price out, Brandon Knight will continue to get all the run he can handle, and Devin Booker will continue to start at the two-spot. Archie Goodwin and Lorenzo Brown will also have the opportunity for limited minutes off the bench, but neither guy is likely to earn enough playing time to matter in most leagues.

Ronnie Price (sprained right toe) will not play vs. the Heat on Friday.

Devin Booker will take his place in the starting lineup, increasing the rookie's appeal as he comes off a nice double-double on Wednesday. Price is day-to-day and will have a few days to rest before the Suns' next game, Tuesday vs. the Pacers.
Jan 8 - 7:53 PM

Ronnie Price (toe) is "questionable to doubtful" to play against the Heat on Friday.

He played 24 minutes in the starting lineup on Wednesday, so there will be some playing time to go around. Obviously, Devin Booker jumps out as a guy to step up, coming off his first-double-double while showing some nice play-making ability. We might also see some Archie Goodwin tonight or even Lorenzo Brown. Booker should be owned in all standard leagues.
Jan 8 - 2:17 PM

Ronnie Price (foot) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. Miami.

Price has been one of the first guards off the bench since the Eric Bledsoe (knee) injury, but if he's unable to give it a go on Friday, Bryce Cotton would likely assume that role. Check back for another update following Friday morning's shootaround.
Jan 7 - 2:40 PM

Ronnie Price scored nine points in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Hornets, adding two rebounds, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

Care to guess which Sun has the best net rating since Eric Bledsoe (knee) went down? OK, that's probably pretty easy because this is in a Ronnie Price blurb, because it's him. He's not going to play too much because obviously Devin Booker's shooting guard minutes shouldn't be messed with, so Price is only a deep-league add.
Jan 7 - 1:56 AM

Ronnie Price will start against the Hornets on Wednesday and Devin Booker will come off the bench.

Why? The Suns are going crazy with their lineups and have used 59 different combos overall since Eric Bledsoe (knee) went down five games ago, and this is now their 11th different starting lineup. Price is only an add in deep leagues.
Jan 6 - 8:02 PM

Ronnie Price (toe) returned to action on Saturday after missing two games, scoring 10 points with one rebound, five assists, one block and two 3-pointers in 16 minutes.

He should be looking at minutes in the teens as Brandon Knight's backup. Although, Devin Booker and T.J. Warren logging so many minutes doesn't bode well for Price, so he's only a very deep pickup.
Jan 2 - 7:38 PM

Ronnie Price (toe) will be available to play on Saturday against the Kings.

He missed two games with his right great toe sprain. That means Price should be ahead of Bryce Cotton for the backup point guard minutes, but has very little fantasy value.
Jan 2 - 4:01 PM

Ronnie Price (right toe sprain) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Kings.

He isn't a big part of the rotation anyways, but Bryce Cotton would be the backup point guard behind Brandon Knight if Price can't play. Leave him on the wire.
Jan 2 - 1:42 PM

Ronnie Price (right toe sprain) will not play on Thursday vs. the Thunder.

Bryce Cotton got the backup point guard minutes on Wednesday vs. the Spurs, but Archie Goodwin could play a little more. Leave Price on the wire.
Thu, Dec 31, 2015 07:02:00 PM

Ronnie Price (right toe sprain) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Spurs.

Bryce Cotton will have the opportunity to get into the rotation tonight with Price on the sidelines, although it's unlikely his minutes extend beyond the low-teens.
Wed, Dec 30, 2015 01:20:00 PM

Ronnie Price (toe sprain) is questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Spurs.

If Price can't give it a go tonight, Bryce Cotton will likely pick up most of his minutes, although that doesn't really mean much in most leagues.
