The Suns will sign Ronnie Price to a one-year deal for the veteran minimum.
He was with the Suns during the 2011-12 season. Price was close to being 100 percent healthy back in April, so he'll be ready to play. He's likely just going to be an emergency guy. Jul 8 - 7:52 PM

Ronnie Price (elbow) said that he's a week away from being 100 percent healthy.

Price will remain sidelined for the final game of the regular-season on Wednesday, but there's not reason to think he won't be 100 percent at the start of training camp next year. Price will be an unrestricted free agent heading into the offseason, and while he had a nice run as the starting point guard for a tanking Lakers team this year, he's very unlikely to hold much, if any, fantasy value next season.
Apr 14 - 2:46 PM

Ronnie Price had right elbow surgery to remove bone spurs and will be out for 6-8 weeks.

He is out for the season. Price has been dealing with his nagging elbow injury since at least Jan. 14, but he should be ready for next year. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this coming summer.
Feb 25 - 2:42 PM

Ronnie Price is set to undergo surgery to remove a bone spur in his right elbow on Wednesday, and head coach Byron Scott said that he will miss the remainder of the 2014-15 season.

With Price sidelined, Jeremy Lin will likely soak up a majority of his reserve minutes and he's due for a boost in value. Lin has been playing well lately, putting up 25 and 18 points in his previous two outings, so he's worth a look in standard leagues for owners seeking some scoring, assists, 3-pointers and steals.
Feb 24 - 3:51 PM

Ronnie Price (elbow) is available to play against the Nets on Friday.

He's not a lock to play and he does have multiple DNP-CDs. Price can be left on the wire in almost all leagues.
Feb 20 - 3:02 PM

Ronnie Price (elbow) will not play until after the All-Star break.

Price's elbow injury is one reason for his absence, but coach Byron Scott also wants to figure out his "best lineups" and apparently they don't include Price. His absence can only be a good thing for the value of Jordan Clarkson and Jeremy Lin, both of whom are nevertheless failing to provide value in standard leagues.
Feb 6 - 6:17 PM

Ronnie Price barely played on Sunday, coming off the bench for two points and one steal in seven minutes.

The former starter is banged up physically and his lack of offense may have finally cost him his role, as he's shooting just 29.4 percent in January. Anyone who still owns him should peruse the waiver wire for a replacement.
Jan 26 - 12:05 AM

Ronnie Price is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Spurs.

He returned to the starting lineup on Wednesday in disappointing fashion with just two points and two assists, so owners should look elsewhere for production for now. Jeremy Lin would benefit the most if Price ended up sitting this one out.
Jan 22 - 5:50 PM

Ronnie Price returned to the starting lineup on Wednesday despite a broken nose, but missed both his shots to finish with just two points and two assists in 27 minutes.

Jeremy Lin went back to the bench and had seven points, three assists, four steals, a block and two 3-pointers, but takes a hit with Price back in the lineup.
Jan 21 - 11:26 PM

Ronnie Price (elbow) will start Wednesday's game vs. the Pelicans, sending Jeremy Lin back to the bench.

Price's elbow still isn't 100 percent but he'll tough it out as L.A. tries to snap their five-game losing skid. He's averaging 5.0 points on combined 6-of-23 shooting in his past four games, and is best avoided in standard fantasy leagues.
Jan 21 - 6:34 PM

Ronnie Price's (elbow) status for Wednesday's game is still up in the air, but coach Byron Scott said he would make a decision closer to tip-off.

Coach Scott also added that Price would start if he is cleared to play, meaning Jeremy Lin would head back to the bench. Owners will want to check back before tip-off before making any lineup decisions involving these two players. Stay tuned.
Jan 21 - 1:29 PM

Ronnie Price (elbow) was a partial participant during Tuesday's practice, but he remains questionable for Wednesday's game against New Orleans.

Price has missed the Lakers' last two games with persistent elbow pain and his status for Wednesday is unclear, according to Mark Medina of the LA Daily News. Jeremy Lin posted a double-double starting in place of Price on Monday and would be a solid play on Wednesday if Price sits again.
Jan 20 - 10:41 AM

Ronnie Price (elbow) will not play against the Suns on Monday and Jeremy Lin will start.

This elbow injury is a little mysterious after he was probable to play on Friday, but the Lakers held him out. Lin was awful against the Jazz on Friday and he'll get a chance to redeem himself in a worse matchup. Expect to see more of Jordan Clarkson tonight, as well.
Jan 19 - 2:35 PM

Ronnie Price (elbow) is now doubtful to play on Monday in Phoenix.

This is interesting because he was probable to play on Friday and all of the sudden it sounds like he's going to miss multiple games. Jeremy Lin was awful on Friday in a start with six points in 30 minutes while Jordan Clarkson played backup point guard for 18 minutes.
Jan 17 - 3:31 PM

Ronnie Price will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Jazz after aggravating his elbow injury on Thursday.

Expect Jeremy Lin to draw the start tonight, and he'll have plenty of opportunity with Kobe Bryant (rest) also out of the lineup. The Lakers don't play again until Monday, so we'll consider Price questionable for that. Lin looks like a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues.
