The Thunder officially announced their signing of Ronnie Price to a two-year deal worth $5 million on Sunday.
Price will serve as the third-string point guard on OKC's roster, which will likely result in Semaj Christon spending a majority of his rookie year in the D-League. Price's fantasy value is non-existent. Aug 14 - 4:49 PM

Ronnie Price has reportedly finalized a two-year deal with the Thunder worth $5 million.

This deal has been in the works for weeks, and now it's finally been finalized. Price will likely serve as the third-string point guard on the roster in OKC, so he won't be worth drafting in any league.

Ronnie Price is reportedly set to sign with the Thunder.

Price was rumored to be close to a deal with the Thunder over a week ago, but left town without a contract. The 33-year-old will reportedly sign with Oklahoma City soon and provide the team with a veteran option off the bench. After averaging 5.3 points and 2.4 assists per game with Phoenix last season, Price won't have any fantasy value in standard leagues.

Ronnie Price will reportedly sign a two-year contract with the Thunder.

Price will likely be the third-string point guard on the depth chart, so he won't have much fantasy value at all. However, if Cameron Payne (Jones fracture) isn't ready for the start of the 2016-17 season, Price could earn a small role as Russell Westbrook's primary backup.
Jul 31 - 6:45 PM

Ronnie Price reportedly will not be retained by the Suns.

Price has reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with another club, although it's currently unclear exactly who he will be playing for. Either way, Price will be a backup with a limited role wherever he winds up, and he's not a name to consider in most fantasy leagues.
Jul 13 - 10:20 AM

Ronnie Price plans to give the Suns the first chance to pursue him in free agency.

"I won’t listen to any other teams until I talk to Phoenix first," Price said. With Brandon Knight (hernia) and Eric Bledsoe (knee surgery) both returning from injuries, perhaps Price could stick around as emergency backcourt insurance. Regardless, the veteran's next contract certainly won't be a priority for a rebuilding Suns team with a ton of work to do.
Apr 25 - 1:53 PM

Ronnie Price hit just 4-of-9 shots and committed seven turnovers in Tuesday's loss to the Hawks, but also had 14 points, three rebounds, four assists and four steals.

He should start at PG the rest of the way with Brandon Knight out for the season and the seven turnovers weren't typical of Price. He's a very borderline fantasy option, even with his starting gig secure.
Apr 5 - 11:46 PM

Ronnie Price started at PG for Phoenix on Sunday, posting two points on 1-of-5 shooting with three assists, two rebounds and three turnovers.

Brandon Knight (hernia) is out of commission and it seems doubtful that he'll return this season, leaving the starting job to Price. The veteran played 32 minutes tonight and he'll chip in decent 3-pointers, assists and steals, with solid FT shooting, but he's just a late-round option with a low ceiling.
Apr 3 - 9:11 PM

Ronnie Price started on Friday against the Wizards with five points, four rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes.

Brandon Knight (groin) is probably out for the year, but Price just isn't good even with all that playing time. He's only worth a look if you're desperate.
Apr 2 - 1:34 AM

Ronnie Price will start for Brandon Knight (hernia) against the Wizards on Friday.

The Suns went with John Jenkins in the last game without Knight, but they'll go back to Price here. Archie Goodwin will also be the backup point guard, so Jenkins might not play much tonight. Expect Devin Booker to run the offense a ton.
Apr 1 - 8:52 PM

Ronnie Price (food poisoning) will play Friday vs. the Kings.

Price sat out shootaround, and he could be limited tonight making him a risky guy to deploy in most settings.
Mar 25 - 9:15 PM

Ronnie Price only registered two missed shots and one foul in 13 minutes on Saturday.

He'll be a reserve now with Brandon Knight back. Drop Price in almost all leagues.
Mar 13 - 1:07 AM

Ronnie Price will come off the bench on Saturday vs. the Warriors.

Brandon Knight will join the starting lineup, so it's officially time to cut Price in most formats. The veteran had a nice run, but the Suns will be focusing on developing their young talent the rest of the way.
Mar 12 - 7:02 PM

Ronnie Price played 38 minutes vs. the Nuggets on Thursday, finishing with eight points, five assists, three boards, two steals and two 3-pointers.

Brandon Knight (groin) returned to action and played 25 minutes, so it's possible that Price could still have a significant role for a little while longer. It makes sense for the Suns to give some of their younger guys like Archie Goodwin some more run, so Price's outlook for the rest of the season still isn't great. He should be treated as a low-end guard in deeper leagues.
Mar 11 - 12:44 AM

Ronnie Price scored 11 points with six assists and two steals vs. the Knicks on Wednesday, logging 34 minutes in a blowout loss in Phoenix.

Price shot 4-of-7 from the field with three 3-pointers and owners should enjoy the production while it lasts. With Brandon Knight (groin) nearing a return, Price's available minutes at PG are about to be severely challenged. Owners should begin scouring the waiver wire for a suitable replacement.
