Will Bynum is reportedly finalizing a deal to re-sign with the Guangdong Tigers of China.
Bynum could return to the NBA once the CBA season is over like he did last season, but he won't be anything more than a backup point guard, and he can be safely ignored in all fantasy leagues. Aug 20 - 4:10 PM

Free agent Will Bynum is reportedly drawing interest from the Spanish team FC Barcelona.

Bynum has also been linked to Guangdong in China but it's unclear how interested he is in either offer. He's unlikely to earn more than the veteran's minimum in the NBA, however, so a trip overseas might earn him substantially more money.

Will Bynum said that he has a three-year offer to play for Guangdong of China, and he is "definitely considering it."

Bynum, an unrestricted free agent, said that he will be seeking a similar deal from an NBA team, but if that doesn't come to fruition China looks like a legitimate option for him. Bynum isn't much more than a backup point guard at the NBA level, and with career averages of 8.1 points and 3.3 assists per game, he's not making a blip on the radar in standard fantasy leagues. It'll be interesting to see if he can land a multi-year deal as a free agent.
Jun 9 - 6:12 PM

Will Bynum is ready to step into a larger role for the Wizards with the injury to John Wall (broken wrist).

"I've been playing for a long time so things happen. You have to be ready," Bynum said. "I know it's tough for John because I know how eager he was for this opportunity. I know it's tough for him. For guys like myself for whoever gets the call to be ready." Bynum is still behind Ramon Sessions and Garrett Temple in the rotation, and he didn't even get into Tuesday's game despite having Wall sidelined, but he's staying ready for if/when his number is called. Bynum may eventually carve out a roll with the second unit in Washington's second-round series, but for now, he's not someone to target in any fantasy format.
May 8 - 9:30 AM

Will Bynum will be inactive for Game 1 against the Hawks on Sunday.

Garrett Temple (hamstring) will be returning from an extended absence today, so something had to give. Bynum will have a hard time finding minutes in this series with the Wizards at full strength.
May 3 - 12:56 PM

Will Bynum had 10 points, seven assists, a steal and a block in 19 minutes of Wednesday's win.

He's been dealing with a hamstring injury and put up some decent numbers in limited minutes on a night John Wall was rested. If Wall plays in the next one, don't expect much from Bynum.
Apr 9 - 2:26 AM

The Wizards will sign G Will Bynum for the rest of the season once his 10-day contract expires on Monday.

Bynum has been dealing with a hamstring strain for quite some time, and he has only seen a total of eight minutes of action in three appearances. Unless John Wall or Ramon Sessions suffers an injury, Bynum will be irrelevant in most leagues.
Apr 5 - 9:29 PM

Will Bynum went through his first full practice with the Wizards on Tuesday, and head coach Randy Wittman said that he looked good.

Bynum only managed to get on the court for three minutes during his first game with the Wizards, and he's currently behind John Wall and Ramon Sessions in the rotation. He's basically an emergency depth guy for Washington, so as long as Wall and Sessions are healthy, Bynum belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Mar 31 - 2:23 PM

Will Bynum has officially signed a 10-day deal with the Wizards, and said he could play Friday vs. the Knicks.

Bynum will offer some emergency backcourt depth to the Wizards, but he's not likely to do enough on the stat sheet to matter in most leagues. Leave him on the wire.
Mar 27 - 1:03 PM

The Wizards are expected to sign Will Bynum on Friday, according to people familiar with the situation.

With injuries to Bradley Beal (ankle), Garrett Temple (hamstring), and Toure Murry (ankle), the Wizards were in need of some backcourt depth, so they cut Murry to make room for Bynum on the roster. Bynum is expected to be available for Friday's game vs. Charlotte, but he's not likely to earn significant minutes right out the gate, and he can safely remain on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Mar 27 - 8:42 AM

The Wizards are eyeing Will Bynum and Bobby Brown for the 15th spot on their roster, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

We've heard these names connected to the Wiz before, so this is just a rehash of old information. Neither will make a real difference for Washington, a team that has been exposed as pretenders.
Mar 9 - 10:12 AM

Will Bynum has been drawing interest from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Bynum's play with the Guandong Southern Tigers has drawn the attention of several NBA teams, but the Cavaliers are adamant on adding a backup point guard and it appears that he is near the top of their list. Regardless, if Bynum did end up in Cleveland he would likely have a very limited role behind Kyrie Irving so there is no need to consider an add in almost any league.
Jan 24 - 9:13 AM

Will Bynum has been drawing interest from NBA teams, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

The Guandong Southern Tigers of China have won 22 consecutive games since Bynum debuted with the team and the NBA has taken notice. The 32-year-old will likely hook on with an NBA team after his season ends in China, but that may not be until late-February after the Chinese playoffs end. Bynum would help solidify someone's bench depth, but he won't have any fantasy value if he does indeed return to the NBA.
Jan 22 - 11:15 AM

Will Bynum is reportedly finalizing a deal to sign with the Guangdong Southern Tigers of China.

Bynum is a backup point guard at best in the NBA, but he could have a fun time playing in China. He may return stateside after his season ends overseas, but he's not going to have much, if any, fantasy value.

Celtics waive Will Bynum.

Bynum was never really in the Celtics' future plans, and with the team unable to find a trade for him, they simply waived him. Bynum is a capable backup point guard, and he should be able to find another NBA team in need of his services. However, the word "backup" tells you about all you need to know with regards to Bynum's fantasy potential, as he's destined for limited minutes, and negligible statistics where ever he lands.
