Trey Johnson and his Italian team Teramo Basket have decided to terminate his deal.

Johnson injured his quadriceps back in September and is still trying to recover. He's an unrestricted free agent stateside, but it's unlikely he'll get a guaranteed deal.

Trey Johnson injured his quadriceps and will be sidelined for a month and a half.

Johnson recently signed with the Italian club Teramo Basket after having brief cups of coffee with the Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers last season. He dominated the NBDL, so hopefully he can return to the court sooner rather than later and continue to develop.

Trey Johnson has signed with the Italian team Teramo Basket.

Johnson was dominating the D-League last season, but struggled to find a role in the rotation during his stints with both the Raptors and Lakers last season. He should do much better overseas than he did in the NBA.

It's unlikely the Lakers will keep G Trey Johnson on their roster, according to the O.C. Register.

Johnson had cups of coffee with both the Raptors and Lakers this season. He was dominating the D-League, but is a borderline NBA talent. He'll have to prove himself in a training camp next season.

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Trey Johnson for the remainder of the season.

Johnson played briefly with the Raptors earlier this season, and after spending the majority of his time playing for the NBADL's Bakersfield Jam, he'll get a chance to win a championship ring.

Johnson isn't a fantasy asset -- after this temporary deal expires the Raptors must decide whether to let him go or sign for the rest of the season.

The 26-year-old is leading the D-League in scoring with 25.8 points per game, in addition to 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists. He gives Toronto some depth while Leandro Barbosa rehabilitates, but isn't likely to have fantasy relevance.

Jackson State guard Trey Johnson said Monday he will skip his senior season and enter the NBA draft.

Johnson, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, ranked 10th nationally with an average of 23.5 points in leading the Tigers to a 15-17 record. He does not plan to hire an agent, preserving his eligibility. Underclassmen have until June 18 to withdraw from the draft.
