Shelden Williams made another start at center and had nine points and 10 rebounds in 34 minutes on Sunday.

He's over his eye injury but the Nets have just three games in each of the next two weeks. Williams would be a very risky play with four or five games, and we wouldn't touch him in most leagues right now.

Shelden Williams (eye) returned to action on Friday, scoring three points on 1-of-1 shooting with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in 21 minutes.

In other words, everything is back to normal for the Nets and Williams, and it's good to see him back on the floor following a scary eye injury.

Williams is dealing with a bruised retina and scratched cornea, but is officially back as the starter for the Nets. S-Will is averaging 5.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game as the starting center. Johan Petro will move back to the second unit.

If the procedure goes well, Williams could rejoin the team before their West Coast trip is over. Johan Petro has been starting at center with Williams sidelined for the last two games.

Shelden Williams (eye) will be out until at least April 5 with a right eye injury.

There are no details available for Williams other than the fact that he has a "right eye injury." Avery Johnson said he was "really concerned" about Williams after he was taken to the hospital following his injury. With Shelden Williams and Jordan Williams (concussion) both hurt, Johan Petro will be forced into some serious minutes moving forward.

Nets coach Avery Johnson said the team is "really concerned" about Shelden Williams, who was taken to the hospital after leaving Wednesday night's game with a right eye injury.

Williams was hit in the eye by the Pacers Tyler Hansbrough, and ran off the court immediately and headed straight for the locker room. The Nets PR staff have said they will have no further updates on Williams until Thursday, and we will update you once we know more. Big man Jordan Williams also got hurt tonight, so Johan Petro could suddenly become a relevant fantasy player.

Shelden Williams had 10 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block in just 21 minutes on Saturday, as the Nets pummeled the visiting Bobcats.

Kris Humphries piled up 20 points and 16 rebounds, Deron Williams had 19 points and 14 assists, and the Nets enjoyed what might have been their first blowout win of the season. The Bobcats will have this effect on most teams, but we expect a return to statistical normalcy vs. the Jazz on Monday.
