Randy Foye struggled in a start on Saturday against the Mavs, making 2-of-9 from the field for five points with one rebound, three assists and one 3-pointer.
He's been Bizarro Foye this year and has made just 19 percent from deep on the season. Gary Harris (concussion) shouldn't be out for long, so Foye is only worth a look in deep leagues. Nov 28 - 11:45 PM

Randy Foye will start in place of Gary Harris (concussion) on Saturday vs. the Mavericks.

Harris will have to go through the NBA's concussion protocol, so it's possible that Foye could have some decent short-term value for owners in need of 3-pointers. Will Barton figures to get a bump in minutes as well, so he should be a solid play in DFS this week.

Randy Foye will start on Friday night.

Interesting. Coach Mike Malone is going small, but it's a little surprising to see Foye get the nod over Will Barton. Whatever the case, the two players should benefit and this also suggests Jameer Nelson (probable) is a go.
Nov 13 - 8:42 PM

Randy Foye had a season-high 13 points, one rebound, three assists and three 3-pointers in 20 minutes off the Nuggets bench on Monday.

Foye hasn't done much this season, but has the potential to play like this on a nightly basis. No need to pick him up right now, but just keep an eye on him.
Nov 10 - 12:12 AM

Randy Foye (strained hamstring) played 18 minutes vs. the Rockets, scoring three points on 1-of-6 shooting with all of his attempts coming from downtown.

Foye lost out to Gary Harris for the starting SG job and he faces additional competition from Will Barton (11 points in 20 minutes), not to mention Wilson Chandler (hip) once he's healthy. In other words, he's nothing more than a 3-point specialist in deep leagues.
Oct 28 - 10:55 PM

Randy Foye (hamstring) was back at practice on Saturday.

He has been out for two weeks and it sounds like he'll be able to play on Wednesday. However, Gary Harris seems to have pulled ahead and has the inside track to start. Foye always seems to find multiple-week stretches of putting up fantasy value, but he can be left on the wire for now.
Oct 24 - 6:02 PM

Randy Foye (hamstring) will not play vs. the Thunder on Sunday.

Foye has some competition for minutes at shooting guard with Gary Harris on his heels, and it doesn't help that the Nuggets could ride their young players if they fall out of playoff contention later on this season. Foye is only worth a look as a 3-point specialist in deeper leagues.
Oct 18 - 6:45 PM

Randy Foye (hamstring) will not play vs. the Suns on Friday.

Nuggets head coach Mike Malone said that Foye "is a little banged up" and that he hasn't been at 100 percent, so it makes sense to rest him. It isn't clear if Foye will emerge as the starting shooting guard over Gary Harris, but he is worth a look in deeper leagues for his ability to rack up 3-pointers in a hurry.
Oct 16 - 1:50 PM

Randy Foye suffered a strained hamstring during a team scrimmage on Saturday.

"He's a little banged up right now," Nuggets coach Michael Malone said of Foye. "He's done a good job when he's been on the floor, but I just don't think he's been 100 percent, which I'm sure has held him back a little bit... We want to get Randy back to 100 percent as we get ready for our season opener." Foye is in a position battle with Gary Harris for the starting shooting guard position in Denver, but the hamstring injury could give Harris some extended time to prove his worth.

The Nuggets are picking up Randy Foye's third-year option for $3.1 million.

The contract became guaranteed today and it's a very cap-friendly deal for the Nuggets. Foye usually plays well in the second half and his ability to space the floor should help Emmanuel Mudiay.
Jul 11 - 10:11 PM

Randy Foye (rest) will not play on Wednesday against the Warriors.

With Foye out, there should be more minutes going to Gary Harris at the two. We could see Erick Green log some minutes there as well. Foye had another strong finish after the break, averaging 11.7 points, 3.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 2.6 treys in his final 26 games this season.
Apr 15 - 3:19 PM

Randy Foye logged 47 minutes in Friday's double-overtime loss to the Mavs, scoring 17 points on 6-of-18 shooting (including five threes) with five rebounds, four assists and five steals.

Those are some big numbers for a guy that many folks haven't put a lot of stock in. He has been a top 40-50 value over the last two weeks and he's a must-start player right now.
Apr 11 - 3:37 AM

Randy Foye nailed three 3-pointers in Saturday's loss to the Clippers, finishing with 14 points, five boards, five assists, one steal and one block in 35 minutes.

He had to carry a little more responsibility on offense with Danilo Gallinari, Ty Lawson and Jameer Nelson out of the lineup, and the only complaint that his owners will have is that he shot just 5-of-13 from the field with a couple of turnovers. The Nuggets may randomly rest him down the stretch to give their younger guys a look, but Foye is worth a look for any owner in need of 3-pointers.
Apr 5 - 1:01 AM

Randy Foye hit just 2-of-9 shots and 1-of-8 3-pointers in Wednesday's loss, finishing with five points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal on Wednesday.

He played 28 minutes, but just never got it going tonight. He's been struggling lately, scoring nine or fewer points in three of his last four games. He had 17 points and four 3-pointers in his previous game, but took a stumble tonight. He's worth a look if you need 3-pointers, but he's averaging just 9.0 points on 38 percent shooting over his last four games (with 9 3-pointers), meaning he's a risky play at hopes of a few extra deep balls.
Apr 2 - 1:25 AM

Randy Foye scored 17 points with one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in 23 minutes against the Blazers on Saturday.

He scored just 14 points combined in his previous two games, but he really turned it around. Foye has been a must-own player in standard leagues thanks to his output in treys and coach Melvin Hunt has been playing him somewhat consistently.
