Thunder beat writer Anthony Slater expects Randy Foye to serve as the backup point guard vs. San Antonio moving forward.
Cameron Payne has really struggled vs. San Antonio, so Foye should move into the backup role behind Russell Westbrook. In Sunday's Game 4 win, Foye finished with five points and a triple in nine and a half minutes. May 9 - 11:19 AM

Randy Foye made a start against the Blazers on Wednesday, making 3-of-11 from the field for 11 points with three rebounds, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

Russell Westbrook rested for the first time in his career to open up run for Foye at the point. Westbrook could rest again at some point, so maybe Foye can redeem himself after a sub-par start. He did come off the bench in the second half.
Apr 7 - 12:53 AM

Randy Foye is starting at point guard against the Blazers on Wednesday.

There should still be a lot of Cameron Payne with Foye getting some wing minutes. Foye is still a decent punt play in DFS and the same goes for Payne, too.
Apr 6 - 9:49 PM

Randy Foye started the second half on Friday against the Wolves, finishing with six points, one rebound, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes.

Andre Roberson (ankle) did not return from his ankle tweak. Foye figures to be involved in the offense more than Roberson, but he's not worth adding in most leagues right now.
Mar 12 - 12:30 AM

Randy Foye made his Thunder debut on Sunday, coming off the bench for two points and one assist in 14 minutes.

Foye shot 1-of-5 from the field with only one 3-point attempt, and will need some time to get comfortable alongside his new teammates. With Russell Westbrook and Dion Waiters starting, Cameron Payne in the rotation and Andre Roberson on the verge of a return, there's no reason to touch Foye in typical leagues.
Feb 21 - 6:35 PM

Billy Donovan said that Randy Foye has become "much more comfortable" with the Thunder's system, and he could play Sunday vs. the Cavs.

Foye picked up a DNP-CD during his first game with the Thunder, but it sounds like Donovan may let him get some limited run tonight. Still, Foye isn't going to have a large enough role with the Thunder while the main guys are healthy to warrant any attention in standard fantasy leagues.
Feb 21 - 2:23 PM

Randy Foye picked up a DNP-CD on Friday vs. the Pacers.

He was supposed to make his Thunder debut tonight, but coach Billy Donovan probably wants to see him get some practice time with his new teammates first. Foye has a ton of competition for minutes on the wing, so he likely won't be much more than just a 3-point specialist.
Feb 19 - 11:48 PM

Randy Foye will make his Thunder debut vs. the Pacers on Friday, as expected.

Foye was acquired at the deadline in exchange for D.J. Augustin and Steve Novak, and he's unlikely to earn a fantasy-worthy role while Russell Westbrook and Dion Waiters are healthy. Leave him on the wire unless you need a cheap source of 3-pointers in a deep league.
Feb 19 - 6:22 PM

Randy Foye is expected to be available on Friday vs. the Pacers.

His role on the Thunder is unclear, but owners in deeper leagues in need of 3-pointers should just keep him on their radar for now. We will let you know how he does after the game. For what it's worth, Foye did go through the morning shootaround which suggests that he should see some minutes tonight.
Feb 19 - 11:48 AM

The Thunder have acquired Randy Foye from the Nuggets in exchange for D.J. Augustin.

Additionally, the Thunder will send Steve Novak and two second-round picks to Denver. Foye gives the Thunder another shooter on the wing, and it's possible that he could have some value in deeper leagues as a 3-point specialist. For now, most owners can use a wait-and-see approach.
Feb 18 - 1:31 PM

The Thunder are in advanced talks to acquire Randy Foye from the Nuggets.

Several teams have inquired about Foye, but the Thunder appear to be the frontrunners right now. OKC would not be a good place for Foye's fantasy value, so there isn't much stash appeal here. Stay tuned.
Feb 18 - 12:47 PM

The Nuggets have received calls from several teams about Randy Foye, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

It's unclear if the Nuggets are interested in moving Foye, but he's a popular target around the league heading into Thursday's trade deadline. Foye is averaging less than 20 minutes per game with the Nuggets and wouldn't be much more than a veteran presence in a new destination, so he can be left on waivers.
Feb 18 - 12:16 PM

Randy Foye is drawing a lot of interest from teams in need of a veteran guard prior to Thursday's deadline.

Foye is a great locker room presence for the Nuggets, and he reportedly won't be too cheap. Foye is averaging less than 20 minutes per game in Denver, but that likely wouldn't improve if he was dealt to a contending team. There's no reason to stash Foye for now.
Feb 16 - 10:55 PM

Randy Foye scored 16 points with five boards, three assists, one steal, two blocks and four 3-pointers in 24 minutes vs. the Raptors on Monday.

Jameer Nelson (wrist) is going to miss some time, so Foye split the point guard minutes with Emmanuel Mudiay. It helped that the game was a blowout, but this was still an impressive performance by Foye. However, he's safe to leave on the wire in most leagues unless he does it again. Mudiay finished with four points and eight assists in 24 minutes.
Feb 2 - 12:10 AM

Randy Foye returned to the bench for Saturday's game vs. the Spurs, scoring nine points on 3-of-9 shooting with five assists, one board, one steal and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes.

Foye blew up in a start at point guard on Wednesday with 31 points, seven 3-pointers and six assists, but he predictably fell back to earth with Jameer Nelson (illness) back in the lineup. Emmanuel Mudiay (ankle) and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) are expected to miss another week of action, but Foye is only worth a look if you're desperate for 3-pointers.
