Randy Foye made his first start of the season on Sunday, finishing with 19 points, five 3-pointers and two steals as the Nuggets lost their sixth consecutive game.
Foye is shooting 30.5 percent from the field this season and his lack of supporting stats makes him primarily a 3-point specialist. To wit, he finished tonight's game without any rebounds, assists or blocks in 30 minutes. He's worth a speculative add in most leagues, however, in the hopes that he can hold down a big offensive role as a starter ahead of Gary Harris. Mar 1 - 11:01 PM

Randy Foye will move into the Nuggets' starting lineup on Sunday, sending Gary Harris to the bench.

Brian Shaw is shaking up his starting lineup by deploying Foye, Wilson Chandler and Kenneth Faried ahead of Harris, Joffrey Lauvergne and J.J. Hickson. Chaos reigns in Denver and Foye's starting job may be short-lived, but he's worth a speculative pickup in deep leagues in case it sticks.
Mar 1 - 6:55 PM

Randy Foye made 2-of-11 from the field for four points with two assists and one steal in 22 minutes against the Suns on Wednesday.

His numbers in his last four are awful, averaging 5.5 points, 2.0 boards, 2.0 assists, 0.3 steals and 1.0 treys on 29.0 percent from the field and 0.0 percent from the line (two attempts). Foye was a stud after the break last season, but it's hard to sign off on adding him with this type of play.
Feb 26 - 1:15 AM

Randy Foye played 25 minutes off the bench against the Bucks on Friday with five points, three rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer.

He logged 100 percent of his minutes at shooting guard, so Ty Lawson not playing has nothing to do with the minutes here. It's easy to forget that Foye put up second-round value after the break last season, so he's worth a look. Plus, he'll be even more appealing if/when Danilo Gallinari needs to miss time.
Feb 21 - 3:12 AM

Randy Foye played just eight minutes in his return to action on Saturday vs. the Wolves, missing all three of his shot attempts and adding one assist and two blocks.

He had missed 26 games in a row prior to Saturday, so it's not surprising to see the Nuggets ease him back into action. Foye is obviously going to have to shake off some rust, but he could emerge in deeper leagues for his ability to hit 3-pointers.
Jan 18 - 12:12 AM

Randy Foye (quad) will play against the Wolves on Saturday.

He is not expected to have a minutes limit despite being out since Nov. 23. Foye plays both guard spots for the Nuggets, which should cut down the playing time for Arron Afflalo, Jameer Nelson and Wilson Chandler.
Jan 17 - 7:36 PM

Randy Foye (quad) has been upgraded to questionable for Saturday's game against Minnesota.

He has missed 26 straight games due to his injury so it appears that he is finally getting closer to a return. The Nuggets will likely bring Foye along slowly if he is activated, so owners in most leagues can use a wait-and-see approach here.
Jan 17 - 1:53 PM

The Denver Nuggets are reportedly shopping Randy Foye (quad).

He hasn't played since Nov. 23 so it's likely that teams would want to see him in action before pulling the trigger on a trade. We will continue to follow this story closely, but owners in deeper leagues can put him on their radar in case he lands in an ideal situation. Foye returned to practice this week and we should know more about his timetable on a return to action shortly.

Jan 14 - 9:50 AM

Randy Foye (quad) went through some of practice on Monday.

He did the half-court contact drills, so that indicates that he should be ready to go at some point in the next week or so. Foye will likely pick up minutes in the 20s and it could be even more depending on how much time Wilson Chandler (knee) misses -- Arron Afflalo would play more small forward. Keep an eye on Foye in most leagues based on how he can get really hot.
Jan 12 - 3:05 PM

Randy Foye (quad) is finally getting closer to a return after missing 19 consecutive games.

"He's been a little more active," coach Brian Shaw said. "He still hasn't been on the court practicing with us at all, but he's saying that it's feeling a lot better. And I'm hoping sometime shortly after the new year, he can get back on the court and start doing some basketball things with us and then see what happens from there." This is a great sign for Foye, and it looks like we should definitely see him back out on the floor in January if everything goes right. Having said that, Foye will have to work his way back into the rotation in Denver and shouldn't be owned outside of really deep leagues for the time being.

Randy Foye (quad) was inactive for Sunday's game vs. the Raptors.

Foye had been targeting a late-December return, but could only meet that timeline by playing on Dec. 30 vs. the Lakers, the first of the Nuggets' three games in Week 10. The Nuggets' backcourt is too deep for Foye to be worth plucking off the waiver wire in standard formats.

Randy Foye (quad) is listed as out for Saturday's game against Houston.

The Nuggets haven't updated his status yet, but it is safe to assume we won't see him until later in December. The Nuggets could really use him right now with Nate Robinson (back) struggling, but Foye would likely be eased into action when he does return and should be left on the wire in most leagues.
Sat, Dec 13, 2014 01:53:00 PM

Randy Foye underwent an undisclosed medical procedure, and he will not be with the Nuggets for their three-game road trip.

Foye is currently dealing with a right quad tear, and isn't expected to return until mid-December at the earliest, so he wouldn't be playing even if he was with the team. The Nuggets have a very crowded backcourt and Foye was only averaging 8.4 points and 1.5 three-pointers per game over 18 minutes of action when he was healthy, so owners in standard leagues won’t miss his absence.
Fri, Dec 5, 2014 11:36:00 AM

Nuggets guard Randy Foye is expected to miss three weeks due to a right quad tear.

That should mean more minutes for Nate Robinson, while Aaron Afflalo will continue to get all the minutes he can handle. Foye wasn't getting consistent enough minutes to be owned in fantasy, but was a nice utility player for Brian Shaw.
Tue, Nov 25, 2014 01:35:00 PM

Randy Foye went scoreless for the first time this season on Sunday, missing five field goals (four 3-pointers) and both of his free throw attempts in just 11 minutes.

His numbers have been trending in this direction for a while now, as he's topped 20 minutes just once in his past six games and is shooting 40.0 percent on the season. He'll be a deep-league option at best while Ty Lawson, Arron Afflalo and Nate Robinson are all healthy.
