Randy Foye did not score in 13 minutes against the Hawks on Sunday, adding one rebound, one assist and one steal.
If you like fun, you're probably rooting for Foye to get shut down for guys like K.J. McDaniels. Fun aside, Foye's had a really nice NBA career and is still productive at age 33. Mar 26 - 5:07 PM

Date:

Randy Foye scored three points in a start against the Pacers on Friday with one rebound, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes.

He continues to start here, but obviously the 33-year-old Foye isn't in the team's long-term plans. He will likely be out of the rotation at some point, especially with Joe Harris playing well today. Plus, he didn't even close this game when the Nets needed a trey.
Feb 3 - 11:12 PM

Isaiah Whitehead, Randy Foye, Bojan Bogdanovic, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Brook Lopez will start against the Knicks on Wednesday.

Even with Joe Harris (ankle) available to play, Foye will stick in the starting lineup for now. Both Foye and Harris are not options with Sean Kilpatrick and Caris LeVert behind them.
Feb 1 - 6:44 PM

Randy Foye scored 16 points in the starting lineup with eight rebounds, five assists and four 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Cavs on Friday.

He's still got it. That's season highs in rebounds and treys for Foye. The Nets will get Caris LeVert back on Saturday, so Foye should move to the background again. When he starts next time, this has to count for something.
Jan 27 - 11:07 PM

Randy Foye will start at shooting guard against the Cavs on Friday.

He is likely looking at minutes in the mid 20s tonight. We'll still see a good amount of Sean Kilpatrick, who serves as a viable DFS punt. With Foye at the two, that should open up minutes for Isaiah Whitehead, as well. Most fantasy owners can avoid this one.

Jan 27 - 6:43 PM

Randy Foye was quiet as a starter on Wednesday, going 1-of-5 from the field to finish with two points, four assists, two rebounds and one steal in 28 minutes.

The Nets have lost 14 of their past 15 games, but it's likely that Foye will earn at least a few more starts ahead of Sean Kilpatrick (eight points in 15 minutes). The veteran is typically good for a 3-pointer and a few assists, but that's about it.
Jan 25 - 11:42 PM

Randy Foye started on Monday vs. the Spurs but was held to just one point in 30 minutes.

Foye scored 11 points in two straight games coming into Monday, but the Spurs are on another level. He missed all four of his shots from the field with four assists and three rebounds, confirming that he belongs on the wire in standard leagues even with Jeremy Lin (hamstring) out another 3-5 weeks.
Jan 23 - 10:25 PM

Randy Foye will start against the Spurs on Monday.

Brian Lewis of the New York Post is reporting that Foye will start at PG, so that will shift Spencer Dinwiddie to to the bench. The Nets announced on Monday that Jeremy Lin (hamstring) will miss the next 3-5 weeks, but Foye still can't be trusted in standard leagues right now.
Jan 23 - 6:09 PM

Randy Foye played 22 minutes with 11 points, three rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers against the Pelicans on Friday.

He moved back into the rotation and played the two for Sean Kilpatrick (rest). Foye is basically the guard utility guy and plays some point guard when they are shorthanded there on a given night -- that might change if Caris LeVert keeps playing well as a primary ball handler. Leave Foye on the wire.
Jan 20 - 11:41 PM

Randy Foye saw most of his 23 minutes as the backup point guard against the Raptors on Friday, scoring nine points with three rebounds, seven assists and three 3-pointers.

Coach Kenny Atkinson basically slotted Foye into Dinwiddie's role for this game. That should continue while Isaiah Whitehead (knee) is out, but Whitehead doesn't sound like he'll be out for long. Foye is only a stream for Sunday at best.
Jan 13 - 10:44 PM

Randy Foye played 28 minutes against the Bulls on Wednesday with 11 points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer.

He did see some point guard minutes tonight with Spencer Dinwiddie not really doing much in the second unit. Plus, Joe Harris (hip) not playing tonight helped Foye get some added run on the wing. If Lin and Harris continue to miss time, Foye could be a super deep stream or DFS punt against the Wizards on Friday.

Randy Foye will return to the bench for Sunday's game against Portland.

Foye is averaging just 5.0 points and 3.2 assists per game with the Nets this season, so unless veteran presence is a category in your league, he's simply not worth owning.
Sun, Nov 20, 2016 02:58:00 PM

Randy Foye played 16 minutes in a start against the Thunder on Friday with two points, one rebound, three assists and four turnovers.

It was his first start of the season with the Nets mixing it up against Russell Westbrook. The Nets used him as their starting shooting guard for four games in the preseason, but they shifted him over to the one tonight. When Jeremy Lin (hamstring) comes back, Foye may get the bump from the rotation. He's not a pickup.
Sat, Nov 19, 2016 12:15:00 AM

Randy Foye will start with Sean Kilpatrick moving to the bench against the Thunder on Friday.

The Nets will also start Bojan Bogdanovic, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Trevor Booker and Brook Lopez. Foye was running some point in the last two games, so the Nets will throw him out there to start against Russell Westbrook. Foye is only worth a look in very deep leagues while Kilpatrick's value doesn't take a big hit here as the backup PG. This move hurts Isaiah Whitehead and Yogi Ferrell.
Fri, Nov 18, 2016 07:15:00 PM

Randy Foye (hamstring) made his season debut on Tuesday vs. the Wolves, playing 14 minutes with three points (a triple), one assist and one rebound.

The Nets will ease him back into action, but they would be foolish to go away from the hot Sean Kilpatrick. Foye is not a fantasy pickup.
