Randy Foye has been putting in extra work since the Nuggets acquired Arron Afflalo and wasn't excited about the deal.
"He’s been in [the Pepsi Center] putting in work," coach Brian Shaw said. "He, as he should have been, wasn’t all that excited hearing about the trade because obviously people just automatically penciled in Arron as a starter and him as a backup." Foye was given the biggest workload of his career last season after Nate Robinson (knee) went down and didn't see any drop-off in output, but he's likely to move back to the bench. He's not shaping up to be a pick in standard fantasy leagues right now. Jun 27 - 9:59 PM

Date:

Randy Foye hit just 2-of-12 shots and was 0-for-7 from downtown for 11 points, four rebounds, seven assists and four steals in a loss to the Clippers.

Had his shot been falling he would have had a monster line, but as it was, he was still effective at filling the stat sheet. Foye should play solid minutes again on Wednesday.
Apr 16 - 1:28 AM

Randy Foye hit 7-of-13 shots and three more 3-pointers for 26 points, four rebounds and six assists in Saturday's win over the Jazz.

Foye is tracking Dale Ellis for the franchise record of 192 3-pointers made, and currently sits at 186. He'll have to play well over Denver's final two games to catch Ellis, but the record is well within reach and Foye will keep firing away in hopes of catching him, making him an excellent fantasy option down the stretch.
Apr 13 - 12:45 AM

Randy Foye scored 20 points with seven boards, seven assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers vs. the Warriors on Thursday.

It wasn't a 30-point, 15-dime game like he had on Wednesday, but this is still a huge outing. Foye has surged all the way up to number nine in 3-pointers on the season and his 35 minutes per game since the break are a big reason why. He's a must-start guy the rest of the way.
Apr 11 - 1:41 AM

Randy Foye hit six 3-pointers on Wednesday, giving him a career-high 179 on the season.

He is one just one 3-pointer behind J.R. Smith for second on Denver’s single-season list and 13 behind Dale Ellis’ franchise record of 192. "I probably have a shot but I try not to think about that stuff," Foye said. He may say he's not thinking about it, but you have to think Foye is going to keep firing away in hopes of catching Ellis before the end of the season. Foye had 30 points and 15 assists to go along with the triples and looks like a strong play the rest of the way.

Apr 10 - 12:12 PM

Randy Foye went bonkers during Wednesday's win over the Rockets, making 10-of-17 from the field for 30 points with five boards, 15 assists, two steals and six 3-pointers.

He made all four attempts from the line and turned the ball over once for what looks to be the biggest fantasy line of the night. This may come as a surprise, but since the All-Star break only J.R. Smith and James Harden have more 3-pointers than Foye's 76. He's been on a tear since Nate Robinson (knee) went down and is going to be on a lot of fantasy championship teams thanks to tonight's gem.
Apr 10 - 12:02 AM

Randy Foye hit four 3-pointers vs. the Spurs on Friday with a total of 20 points, one board and one assist in 32 minutes.

Even though the Nuggets are missing guys like Wilson Chandler (groin), Foye's minutes have been dialed back. He played just 30.9 per game in his last 10, which is well below his 35.8 back in February. Still, Foye is worth owning in standard leagues.
Mar 29 - 4:46 AM

Randy Foye hit five 3-pointers for 15 points, three rebounds, one assist and a steal on Friday.

The five triples save this line and represent a step down from his recent play. Needless to say he belongs in all lineups.
Mar 22 - 1:47 AM

Randy Foye hit 8-of-18 shots and five 3-pointers for 22 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in 44 minutes on Wednesday.

He was probably helped by the fact that Ty Lawson was out with a flu bug, but could also be on the comeback trail. He averaged just 6.0 points and 1.3 3-pointers in three games last Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, but is averaging 18.0 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 3-pointers over his last two games.
Mar 20 - 1:39 AM

Randy Foye scored 14 points on 4-of-10 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, five assists, four steals and one block in Monday's win over the Clippers.

Foye hit all five of his freebies for good measure and this marks his first good game in a while. If he was somehow dropped go run and pick him up as he is a mid-round value with upside beyond that.
Mar 18 - 2:07 AM

Randy Foye hit just 2-of-6 shots and two 3-pointers for eight points and two assists on Saturday.

Foye has really cooled off lately and had seven points against the Heat on Friday. He'll get hot again at some point, but it doesn't look like a good idea to throw him into fantasy lineups right now.
Mar 15 - 10:09 PM

Randy Foye played just 24 minutes and finished with seven points, one three and one assist in Friday's win over the Heat.

Foye carried a ton of load for a month or two and even played while hurt, so we wouldn't be surprised if all of that has caught up to him. Owners would be wise to simply bench him considering the tremendous upside he displayed in that span. If he can't get it together soon then we'll start talking about a cut.
Mar 15 - 2:03 AM

Randy Foye made just one of his six attempts from the field for three points with three boards, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.

This was his third consecutive dud in a row after combined for just 16 points in his previous two games. Foye's shot from deep hasn't dropped in this slump, making just 2-of-16 (12.5 percent). His minutes took a huge dive tonight and the 26 were his fewest since Jan. 13. He has played way more minutes this season than in any previous year, but it'll take more than a three-game slump to say he's starting to wear down. His fantasy owners should stick with him.
Mar 12 - 10:33 PM

Randy Foye scored nine points on 4-of-8 shooting (no threes) with four rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes on Monday.

Whether it's Foye's quad slowing him down or the return of Ty Lawson has set him back a bit, it's not surprising to see him ease off the accelerator now that reinforcements have arrived. He's still producing at a mid-round level over the last week or so and belongs in lineups unless things worsen.
Mar 10 - 9:37 PM

Randy Foye hurt his left quad in the first half of Wednesday's game and was treated by the training staff on the bench.

He took a knee from Samuel Dalembert and the injury doesn't sound serious. We'll keep you posted on whether Foye returns or the team updates his status.
