Bulls sign G/F Ronnie Brewer.
Brewer is familiar in Chicago, where he played from 2010-2012, and he was brought in to provide some emergency depth on the wings for the playoffs. He averaged 0.3 points in 23 appearances with the Rockets this season and his days as a viable fantasy option are long gone. Apr 7 - 12:17 PM

Rockets waive G/F Ronnie Brewer.

He's been hurt for much of the season and his career has really spiraled downward this season. Brewer played just 6.9 minutes per game and scored 0.3 per game in 23 games with the Rockets. He may have a tough time catching on with another team.
Feb 21 - 4:16 PM

Ronnie Brewer was the invisible man again on Saturday, posting just two points and one rebound in 17 minutes as Houston's starting SF.

Brewer was scoreless in his previous two starts so this was actually an improvement. The Rockets have struggled to replace Chandler Parsons' (hamstring, calf) production, though Francisco Garcia did chip in six points, four rebounds and three assists off the bench tonight.
Jan 11 - 10:36 PM

Ronnie Brewer played 25 minutes in a start vs. the Hawks on Friday with no points, two rebounds and one assist.

The Rockets miss Chandler Parsons. Omri Casspi also did not score while Francisco Garcia scored two points. Fantasy owners can steer clear of this situation.
Jan 10 - 11:22 PM

Ronnie Brewer is expected to start at small forward again Friday.

With Chandler Parsons (knee, hamstring, calf) almost certainly out, there's a lot of minutes to be had. But Brewer is just a defensive stopper that will share time with both Omri Casspi and Francisco Garcia. It's a very low-upside fantasy situation.
Jan 10 - 1:01 PM

Ronnie Brewer did not score in his start on Wednesday night.

He stepped in with Chandler Parsons (knee) out of the lineup and it was certainly a forgettable night. Brewer has no fantasy value. Meanwhile, Omri Casspi (nine points, fix boards, four assists and no triples) and Francisco Garcia (three points in 22 minutes) were mild disappointments tonight.
Jan 9 - 12:41 AM

Ronnie Brewer will start in place of the injured Chandler Parsons (knee) vs. the Lakers on Wednesday.

He's played a total of six minutes in the last six games, so the Rockets aren't likely going to count on Brewer too much. His shooting numbers are pretty ugly at just 25 percent from the field on the season, so there's no reason to pick him up. Expect Francisco Garcia and Omri Casspi to have bigger roles off the bench.
Jan 8 - 7:52 PM

Ronnie Brewer (calf) is available to play for the Rockets on Wednesday.

He's missed the last four games with a strained calf. Continue to ignore him in all leagues.

Ronnie Brewer (calf) did not play on Saturday and though he is day-to-day we are marking him out indefinitely until there is an update on his status.

Brewer is anchored to the end of the bench in Houston and has no fantasy value.

Ronnie Brewer will miss his second consecutive game on Wednesday.

He has a strained calf and this news should not affect the fantasy basketball world. Brewer is a few too many minutes past his prime and can't really score on his own.

Ronnie Brewer's contract with the Rockets guarantees $100K, according to Mark Deeks.

The $100k is a nice paycheck by most standards, but this is the NBA. The relatively small amount the Rockets guaranteed to Brewer shows that he is fighting for a spot on the team. Don't count on him to contribute to the steals and field goal percentage categories as in his earlier days with the Jazz.

Ronnie Brewer is not a lock to make the Rockets' regular-season roster.

He signed a partially-guaranteed two-year deal which will require him to fight for his job during training camp. "[The Rockets] play my style," Brewer said. "If I . . . play at a high level, defend at a high level and knock down shots when I have the opportunity, I feel like I can make this team."

The Rockets have agreed to a two-year, partially guaranteed deal with unrestricted free agent Ronnie Brewer.

The Rockets had a big summer with Dwight Howard coming to town, but they do lack some depth on the wing behind James Harden and Chandler Parsons. Whether or not Brewer has anything left in the tank is debatable, at best.

Ronnie Brewer, who was seldom-used after being acquired from the Knicks, would be open to returning to the Thunder next season.

Brewer, an unrestricted free agent, will likely get a look from a handful of teams shopping in the discount bin when free agency opens up. "I'm still very young and still have a lot of basketball left in me so if it's here or somewhere else I'll continue to play basketball," he said. "This is a great organization and (has) great players, great coaches, great fans. So hopefully I can continue to play here."

Ronnie Brewer made his debut for the Thunder on Wednesday and had five points, four rebounds, one assist, two steals and a 3-pointer in 12 minutes.

He has no fantasy value, but owners of Kevin Martin have to hope he doesn't eat into his run. Martin had 14 points and two 3-pointers in just 18 minutes tonight, but the game was a blowout, so we're not overly concerned just yet.
