Thabo Sefolosha came off the bench for four points, six rebounds, two steals and one turnover in 23 minutes during a road win in Portland on Wednesday.
Thabo is capable of contributing across the board but it's hard to roster him while his minutes are fluctuating from the teens to the high-20s on a nightly basis. He'd also be more appealing if he were hitting 3-pointers (he's 0-of-7 in his past seven games), but he's still a borderline value for roto purposes. Jan 21 - 1:38 AM

Thabo Sefolosha (wrist) scored four points in 34 minutes against the Bucks on Friday with six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two turnovers.

Kent Bazemore was in some foul trouble, so the minutes were a little misleading. Sefolosha hasn't been very effective since the Hawks have been back to 100 percent, so he's only a deeper league player for now.
Jan 16 - 12:31 AM

Thabo Sefolosha (wrist) is probable to play against the Bucks on Friday.

He did not play on Wednesday, but did dress for the game. With Sefolosha likely back, that means Tim Hardaway Jr. would play less. Thabo isn't worth owning in standard leagues anymore.

Thabo Sefolosha (wrist) did not play vs. Charlotte on Wednesday, as expected.

Sefolosha was in uniform but the Hawks were never expected to deploy him. Mike Budenholzer described the injury as "a little bit of a problem" but it doesn't sound as though it will sideline him too much longer. In his absence, Kent Bazemore should get all the minutes he can handle at small forward.
Jan 13 - 10:26 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (wrist) will dress and is unlikely to play against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Apparently, something isn't right with his wrist despite "making progress" on Monday. With Sefolosha out and Lamar Patterson in the D-League, Tim Hardaway Jr. might get close to 20 minutes.
Jan 13 - 6:42 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (right wrist) is being listed as probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Hornets.

It looks like the wrist injury will have only cost Sefolosha one game on the sidelines. That being said, Sefolosha is averaging just 6.2 points, 4.4 boards and 1.2 steals as a reserve this season, so he's nothing more than a steals specialist in deep leagues.
Jan 12 - 5:14 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (right wrist) is "making progress" from his sore right wrist, according to coach Mike Budenholzer.

He was working on some dribbling at practice on Monday, so it doesn't look like he'll be out for too long. Tim Hardaway Jr. seems like he's taking most of Thabo's minutes, but he's not an option. Sefolosha is more of a deep-league guy right now because Kent Bazemore has been great.
Jan 11 - 4:18 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (sore right wrist) will not play against the Bulls on Saturday.

He was ruled out before warmups and will likely be on the inactive list. That means Tim Hardaway Jr. could build off his season-high eight points from Thursday while Lamar Patterson should be active. Additionally, Kent Bazemore owners should have high hopes even though he'll have to guard Jimmy Butler.
Jan 9 - 4:14 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (right wrist) is a game-time decision to face the Bulls on Saturday.

It doesn't sound serious, but wrist injuries can be tricky. If Thabo can't go, there may only be a few extra minutes for the starts. Tim Hardaway Jr. would also be looking at possibly his best chance to produce while Lamar Patterson would be active. Additionally, the Hawks will put Kent Bazemore on Jimmy Butler and Kyle Korver on Nikola Mirotic.
Jan 9 - 3:27 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (ankle) is probable for Thursday's game against the 76ers.

While Sefolosha is averaging 23.8 minutes per game this season, he is over averaging 7.1 points and 4.6 rebounds on the year. Even though he's an important player for the Hawks, Sefolosha just doesn't do enough to help fantasy owners in standard leagues.
Jan 7 - 12:49 PM

Thabo Sefolosha did not score in 24 minutes against the Pistons on Wednesday, adding three rebounds and two assists,

Kent Bazemore is locked in, Kyle Korver is healthy and Dennis Schroder is taking up a lot of usage in the second unit. Sefolosha had a nice run, but he's a drop candidate as the low usage rate monster claims another victim in fantasy.
Thu, Dec 24, 2015 12:38:00 AM

Thabo Sefolosha played just nine minutes off the bench on Monday with no points, one rebound and four turnovers.

The low minutes were a huge surprise, but Kent Bazemore was on fire tonight. Sefolosha probably will be in the low 20s most nights and his fantasy owners shouldn't make any hasty cuts from his horrible outing yet. He'll look to bounce back against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Thabo Sefolosha (ankle) will head to the bench for Monday's game vs. the Heat.

Sefolosha is listed as probable, but there hasn't been any indication that he won't be active tonight. Kent Bazemore will replace him in the starting lineup and looks like the better option in fantasy leagues. Sefolosha is averaging 8.8 points, 4.0 boards, 1.4 assists, 1.0 blocks, 1.4 steals and 1.0 3-pointers over his last five games, but those numbers could slip because coach Mike Budenholzer confirmed that Bazemore will be the starter going forward.

Thabo Sefolosha (ankle rehab) is expected to play on Monday vs. Miami.

Sefolosha is officially "probable," but there was never a doubt that he'd be in there for a matchup against Dwyane Wade and the Heat.
Mon, Dec 14, 2015 12:37:00 PM

Thabo Sefolosa played 35 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday with 11 points, three rebounds, one assist, four steals and two turnovers.

When the Hawks get a game against an elite wing, Thabo gets some heavy minutes. He played 39 minutes against OKC the last time and he's carved out a nice role with minutes in the low 30s. He's kind of a sneaky player to own in standard leagues and should be a top-100 option going forward.
