Thabo Sefolosha hit 5-of-9 shots and two 3-pointers for 14 points, five rebounds, a steal and a block in 26 minutes off the bench on Thursday.
He had 11 points, eight boards, four steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer in his previous game and is averaging 11.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.4 3-pointers on 61 percent shooting over his last five. If you need steals, blocks and 3-pointers, he's worth a look right now, but will also take a hit once Rodney Hood is back from his ankle injury. Dec 8 - 1:23 AM

Thabo Sefolosha played through a hand injury on Tuesday and hit 5-of-8 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, eight rebounds, four steals and two blocks in 21 minutes off the bench.

Steals and blocks are his forte, but he didn't have one in his previous two games. He's always worth keeping an eye on and did a great job on Paul George tonight, but the offensive holes in his game make him tough to own in fantasy.
Dec 5 - 11:07 PM

Thabo Sefolosha will be available to play on Tuesday vs. the Thunder.

Sefolosha has officially cleared the concussion protocol and there's no reason to think he'll have any limitations. This is a relief for the Jazz as they could really use his perimeter defense against the likes of Carmelo Anthony and Paul George.
Dec 5 - 7:25 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (concussion) will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's matchup with the Thunder.

Sefolosha reportedly passed the Jazz's concussion protocol testing, but he still needs to go through the leagues testing before an official determination is made on his playing status. We likely won't get another update until just prior to tip-off, but if he's out tonight, his minutes would likely be divvied up between Alec Burks, Joe Ingles and Jonas Jerebko, with Burks offering the most upside.
Dec 5 - 6:45 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (knee) will play on Monday vs. Philly.

He was originally considered probable, so this isn't a surprise. Sefolosha has been more involved these days with Joe Johnson and Rudy Gobert on the sidelines, but he's more of a steals specialist with nine steals over his past four appearances. It's unclear if the Jazz will start Sefolosha or Jonas Jerebko vs. the 76ers.
Nov 20 - 11:24 AM

Thabo Sefolosha (knee) is probable to play Monday vs. Philadelphia.

Sefolosha looked fined in his return from a one-game absence on Saturday, so he should be just fine for Monday's game in Philly. Sefolosha will have the opportunity for more minutes while Rudy Gobert (knee) is out, but he's nothing more than a steals specialist in deep leagues.
Nov 19 - 4:19 PM

Thabo Sefolosha scored eight points against the Magic on Saturday after a one-game absence, adding four rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer in 18 minutes.

He is probably going to wind up starting in some games, but the odds of that may have gone down given the 40-point win today. Sefolosha is a steals specialist in deeper leagues.
Nov 18 - 9:57 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (knee) will be available for Saturday against the Magic.

We still don't know the starting lineup or if Sefolosha will be limited after missing Friday. Jonas Jerebko is likely going to lose minutes.
Nov 18 - 6:41 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (right knee soreness) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Magic.

Sefolosha was unable to suit up Friday night in Brooklyn. Jonas Jerebko started but played just 17 minutes. Surprisingly, Royce O'Neale logged a career-high 21 minutes off the bench. Ekpe Udoh saw 15 minutes of action. This is a situation to avoid until we have some clarity on the Jazz rotation going forward.
Nov 18 - 1:18 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (right knee soreness) will not play on Friday vs. the Nets.

The Jazz play again on Saturday vs. Orlando, so hopefully they are just resting him for that one. With Sefolosha out, Jonas Jerebko is looking at extended minutes and is worth a look if you need 3-pointers -- he's hit three triples in each of his last two games.
Nov 17 - 6:54 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (right knee soreness) is questionable for Friday's game vs. Brooklyn.

Sefolosha was averaging 23.4 minutes per game in the three games the Jazz has played since Rudy Gobert (knee) went down. If Thabo is unable to suit up on Friday, Jonas Jerebko would likely remain in the starting lineup and see additional minutes. Ekpe Udoh would also see an uptick in playing time.
Nov 17 - 12:04 PM

Thabo Sefolosha came off the bench and hit 5-of-9 shots and three 3-pointers for 13 points, two rebounds, one assist and zero steals in 22 minutes on Monday.

He might get some starts with Rudy Gobert out with a leg injury, but Jonas Jerebko got the nod tonight. Sefolosha is a steals specialist and had five of them on Saturday, but came away empty handed in this one. However, the three 3-pointers were a season high.
Nov 13 - 11:43 PM

Thabo Sefolosha was in the starting lineup Saturday against Brooklyn with Rudy Gobert (knee) sidelined and he stepped up with nine points, nine rebounds and five steals across 32 minutes.

Sefolosha did a good job with his quick hands, and his insertion into the starting five made sense since the Nets are a smaller team that likes to run. He did a good job at both ends of the floor and finished with a game-high plus-17 rating. It's uncertain if Gobert will need more time to heal, but Sefolosha might come off the bench Monday with a bigger Timberwolves team coming to Salt Lake.
Nov 12 - 12:58 AM

Thabo Sefolosha will start for Rudy Gobert (knee) against the Nets on Saturday.

It makes a lot of sense against a Nets team that loves to run. Although, Derrick Favors has rarely played next to four smaller players, so this is a lot of pressure on him.
Nov 11 - 8:23 PM

Thabo Sefolosha scored two points with one steal in 14 minutes against the Raptors on Friday.

That Wednesday game with 15 points was a clear fluke, but he should be better than this. Sefolosha is more of a 16-team guy until Joe Johnson (wrist) gets back.
