Cavs sign G Chris Quinn for the remainder of the season.

Quinn has been playing in the D-League with the Tulsa 66ers, and now he'll get another shot with the Cavs after Cleveland has been decimated by injuries in the backcourt. Quinn's signing for the season rather than a 10-day deal could indicate that Dion Waiters (knee) will miss extended time.

Chris Quinn has been acquired by the Tulsa 66ers of the D-League.

Quinn was in training camp with the Jazz, but he was waived at the end of October.

Jazz waive G Chris Quinn and F Darnell Jackson.

Both players were training camp bodies and weren't expected to make the final roster.

Jazz sign G Chris Quinn to a non-guaranteed contract.

Quinn will get a training camp invite after spending last season in Russia. Despite his NBA experience, it would be surprising to see him make the team. Trey Gilder, Darnell Jackson and Brian Butch will also be in camp with Utah.

Free agent Chris Quinn has signed with BC Khimki of the Russian League.

This is the same club that signed Nuggets C Timofey Mozgov. Quinn has seen action with three NBA teams, most recently as the No. 3 point guard for the Spurs last season.

The Spurs have signed veteran point guard Chris Quinn.

Quinn has bounced around the league and recently spent time with the Sixers during training camp. He's an adequate backup guard and is likely being used as an insurance policy while George Hill is slowed by injury.

The Sixers have waived guard Chris Quinn and F/C Trent Plaisted.

He's got a chance to land on another roster before the end of the season, but it's clear he won't ever become an everyday player.

Sixers signed G Chris Quinn to a training camp contract.

Quinn is a borderline NBA player but is a long shot to make the Sixers. The former Heat and Nets backup won't beat out Jodie Meeks for the fifth guard spot.

The Heat have traded Chris Quinn to the Nets for a heavily protected 2010 second-round pick, reports ESPN's Marc Stein.

The Nets also get cash and a 2012 second-round pick in the deal, which should clear the way for the Heat to sign point guard Rafer Alston, who was bought out by the Nets recently. Quinn's not likely to have any value at all in Jersey, but Alston should take over starting duties from Carlos Arroyo once he signs with Miami, making him an automatic pickup.

Backup Heat point guard Chris Quinn (foot) was available to play on Tuesday but never set foot on the court.

Quinn has been dealing with foot and toe issues for as long as we care to remember. With Mario Chalmers starting and Carlos Arroyo as a backup, there's no reason to own Quinn in fantasy leagues.

Backup point guard Chris Quinn finally practiced through a foot injury and has been cleared to play Tuesday against the Suns.

Quinn could eat into the minutes of starter Mario Chalmers a bit, but shouldn't make much of a difference in fantasy leagues, or in real life Heat basketball.

Backup point guard Chris Quinn will miss at least a week due to a sprained right foot.

He was injured when Michael Beasley fell on his foot during Friday’s practice. This is scary news for the Heat, as Quinn is the only backup point guard to Mario Chalmers under contract.

Chris Quinn is point guard Mario Chalmers' main backup at point guard this season, and Pat Riley doesn't sound interested in bringing in a veteran to help at point guard.

"The only way we’re going to be able to add is to subtract," Riley said. However, there is a good chance they'll add another big man, with Shavlik Randolph's name being mentioned as a possibility. Don't get excited about Quinn, but he would have instant value if Chalmers were to go down.

Heat guard Chris Quinn has exercised his $1.1 million player option for the 2009-2010 season.

Quinn's decision bumps the Heat roster to 11 players, and moves them slightly above the expected luxury tax threshold. He could be packaged in a trade this summer or stick with the Heat -- either way he's an unlikely fantasy asset.
