Pooh Jeter has decided not to leave the Shandong Flaming Bulls for the NBA.

There was speculation that Jeter was set to join the Lakers after undergoing a workout with the team, but Jeter poured cold water on that speculation in an interview with The Beijing Times. "I was a native of Los Angeles who grew up as Lakers' fan and so I'm very honored to receive their invitation. I will train in L.A. for two weeks, but I'll play in Shandong also because I have a contract with them."

Pooh Jeter will be invited to the Lakers for training camp.

He has been in the NBA before, averaging 4.1 points, 2.6 assists and 0.5 steals in 2010-11 with the Kings. Jeter may have garnered the attention of the Lakers from his FIBA World Cup as the leading scorer of the Ukraine team with 15.4 points per game. He'll compete for the No. 3 point guard spot on the team.

Pooh Jeter has signed with the Shandong Bulls in China.

Jeter played in Spain last season and will once again play abroad this year in China.

PG Pooh Jeter signed a one-year deal with Spanish club Joventut Badalona.

There's no word about an opt-out clause, but we're guessing he'll play the entire season there. Jeter opened some eyes in Sacramento, showing that he could be an effective bench player, and we'll likely see him back in the NBA in a year or two.

The Kings didn't pick up the option on Pooh Jeter's contract, meaning his days with the Kings are over.

He's close to making a decision about playing overseas during the lockout, and then hopes to catch on with another NBA team once they're back in action. The Kings drafted guard Isaiah Thomas, making Jeter expendable.

Pooh Jeter scored 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting with two rebounds, six assists and five steals in 20 minutes of play.

Jeter's quickness was clearly a factor and he showed some good decision making skills. The Kings may be willing to toss Jeter some more minutes after this performance.

Pooh Jeter scored eight points on 4-of-6 shooting with three rebounds and seven assists in 24 minutes off the bench on Saturday.

Luther Head started for Beno Udrih (flu) tonight, but Jeter is the better option for owners in deep leagues looking for a spot start. Head scored seven points on 2-of-5 shooting with one rebound and two assists, which can be called a 'small win' for him given some of his outings.

Pooh Jeter came off the bench to score a career-high 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting in 26 minutes on Friday.

He added four assists and a 3-pointer, but don't take the bait. Beno Udrih was out with the flu.

Pooh Jeter started in place of Tyreke Evans on Wednesday and had 10 points and four assists in a whopping 41 minutes.

He'll lose all value when Tyreke returns from his ankle injury, but played pretty well tonight.

Pooh Jeter scored eight points on 4-of-9 shooting with four rebounds, 11 assists, and a steal in 21 minutes off the bench on Tuesday, and also sent the game to overtime by blowing past John Wall with three seconds left in regulation.

Jeter is quick, but Wall looked like a statue on the play. As for the big numbers, they're the result of a garbage game at the Verizon Center in Washington. Owners need to take all of the lines in this game with a healthy dose of skepticism.

Pooh Jeter scored eight points with six assists off the bench on Tuesday, hitting 4-of-7 shots from the field to go with two rebounds and two steals in 21 minutes.

He's a sparkplug, and if you're in a very deep league these type of per-minute numbers may have some appeal. There is very little chance, however, that he expands his game into a full-time role.

Pooh Jeter played just 16 minutes off the bench on Saturday, scoring four points on 2-of-6 shooting with four rebounds and four assists.

He will do some good things on the court and will improve going forward, but tonight's line should be a reminder that he's not threatening Beno Udrih for playing time.

Pooh Jeter backed up Monday's 11-point performance with 13 points, nine assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 3-of-6 shooting in Wednesday's win.

Yes, he's worth keeping a close eye on and is a fun player to watch. But despite the occasional nice line for Jeter, it's hard to imagine him logging minutes as an NBA starter, despite the fact he plays for Paul Westphal.

Pooh Jeter made his first noise as an NBA player in Monday's loss to the Clippers, sparking a fourth quarter comeback with 11 points in the final frame on 3-of-6 shooting to go with four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 17 minutes off the bench.

Beno Udrih, who shot 1-of-10 from the field and was pulled for Jeter in the fourth, will have to step us his game or find himself in a time-share, but we don't think one was created tonight. That said, we could be wrong and Jeter is worth watching, we just wouldn't rush to pick him up yet -- even in deep leagues.
