Marco Belinelli (groin) went through roughly 80 percent of Friday's practice, and he is being listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Clippers.
Belinelli will likely be eased back into the rotation after spending the past 10 games on the sidelines, so there's not much reason to go and grab him in standard leagues. However, when Belinelli is at 100 percent, he'll likely take away some minutes from Patty Mills and Cory Joseph. Jan 30 - 1:36 PM

Date:

Marco Belinelli (groin) remains out for Wednesday's game vs. Charlotte.

This will be his tenth straight game on the sidelines, and it's clear that the Spurs likely won't bring him back until he is 100 percent. Belinelli should be dropped in most leagues, while players like Patty Mills, Manu Ginobili and Cory Joseph will pick up extra minutes in the short-term.

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play against the Bucks on Sunday.

This is his ninth straight game on the sidelines and there is still no indication on when he will return to action. Belinelli can be dropped in almost all leagues for now, while Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills and Cory Joseph will all benefit in the short-term.

Marco Belinelli (groin) will miss his eighth consecutive game vs. the Lakers on Friday.

San Antonio is playing it safe with Belinelli, who has now missed 16 of the Spurs' first 44 games. His absence has opened up more playing time for Manu Ginobili, primarily, but Gregg Popovich's rotations are too unpredictable to rely on fellow reserve guards Cory Joseph and Patty Mills.

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play against the Bulls on Thursday.

He has been sidelined since Jan. 9, and considering this is the second time that he has seen extensive time on the sidelines due to his groin, the Spurs likely won't bring him back until he is 100 percent. Consider Belinelli day-to-day for now, and expect Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills and Cory Joseph to fill the void.

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play on Sunday vs. the Jazz as expected.

The earliest we will see Belinelli back on the court is Jan. 22 against the Bulls, but owners shouldn't hold their breath knowing how cautious the Spurs are. Until his return, expect Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills and Cory Joseph to see increased minutes off the bench.
Jan 18 - 10:04 AM

Coach Gregg Popovich said that Marco Belinelli will be out at least another 7-10 days with a groin/abdominal injury.

That means that Belinelli won't return until Jan. 22 at the earliest for San Antonio's game against Chicago. With Belinelli sidelined, more minutes will go to guys like Patty Mills, Cory Joseph and Manu Ginboili.
Jan 16 - 7:19 PM

Marco Belinelli (groin) is out for Friday's game against Portland.

Patty Mills, Cory Joseph, and Manu Ginobili will all split Belinelli's reserve minutes with Ginobili offering the most upside out of the group. However, with Kawhi Leonard (hand) expected to make his return on Friday, these guys don't look to be very enticing daily league plays.

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play against Charlotte on Wednesday.

He has been dealing with groin issues all season so the Spurs likely won't rush him back before he is at 100 percent. Belinelli can be cut in almost all leagues, while Patty Mills, Cory Joseph and Manu Ginobili will all benefit in the short-term.

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Wizards.

With Belinelli sidelined, look for Danny Green to get all the run he can handle with Manu Ginobili (back, probable), Patty Mills, and Cory Joseph seeing some extended minutes off the bench.

Marco Belinelli (groin) is questionable to play against the Wizards on Tuesday.

He missed Saturday with what the team is calling a mild strain. Belinelli had this problem earlier this season and the team would be even less likely to play him with Manu Ginobili (back) listed as probable. Patty Mills, Cory Joseph and maybe Austin Daye would get more playing time sans Beilnelli.

Jan 12 - 4:39 PM

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play in Saturday's game against Minnesota.

After Belinelli dealt with groin issues for a good chunk of the beginning of the season, it is understandable for the Spurs to exercise some caution here. Consider Belinelli day-to-day for now, and expect Patty Mills, Cory Joseph and Boris Diaw to all benefit in Belinelli's absence.

Marco Belinelli (groin) is questionable to play against the Wolves on Saturday.

He basically had groin issues in the first month of the season and the Spurs may rest him in the second half of a back-to-back set. If he is out, Patty Mills, Danny Green, Cory Joseph and Boris Diaw could all benefit. Mills is probably the preferred play in daily with Manu Ginobili (back) out.
Jan 10 - 2:47 PM

Marco Belinelli scored 18 points in another start at SG on Tuesday, hitting 7-of-13 shots including 4-of-7 from downtown.

The veteran guard also had four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 35 minutes vs. the Grizzlies. This is his 10th double-digit scoring game in December but he's been very inconsistent, and is only worth a look if you're in need of scoring and 3-point shooting.

Marco Belinelli will enter the starting lineup for Sunday's game vs. the Rockets, sending Kyle Anderson to the bench.

Belinelli has seen his minutes in the 30s with Kawhi Leonard (hand) sidelined, but he'll have a tough matchup tonight vs. the Rockets, so he's a risky play in daily leagues.
