Marco Belinelli took advantage of Manu Ginobili's absence on Sunday, coming off the bench for 13 points, two 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes.
His solid game was even more critical with both Patty Mills and Cory Joseph going scoreless in a combined 21 minutes off the Spurs' bench. Ginobili is day-to-day with a sprained ankle, which makes Belinelli a shaky option despite the Spurs' four-game schedule this week. Mar 22 - 5:39 PM

Marco Belinelli hit 2-of-9 shots for 11 points and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's win.

He should see more opportunities with Manu Ginobili's ankle injury and has scored in double figures in three straight games. Unfortunately, his high in those is just 13 points.
Mar 19 - 12:22 AM

Marco Belinelli hit a game-winning jumper with 2.1 seconds left on Monday to beat the Pacers, finishing with 12 points, one rebound, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

The 18-foot shot gave coach Gregg Popovich his 1,000th NBA win as a head coach. Among the nine coaches with 1,000 wins, only Phil Jackson has a better winning percentage. As for Belinelli, he stepped up with Manu Ginobili resting, so he's not a great pickup in most leagues.
Feb 9 - 11:31 PM

Marco Belinelli returned after missing several games with a groin injury and had 11 points and three 3-pointers in 17 minutes on Wednesday.

As long as Manu Ginobili is healthy, Bello will be tough to start in most fantasy leagues.
Feb 5 - 1:32 AM

Marco Belinelli (groin) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game against the Magic.

The Spurs have been known to be extremely cautious with their players so we don't expect Belinelli to play many minutes upon his return. Unless a couple of injuries open up some more playing time for Belinelli, his value will be limited to owners in deeper leagues for his ability to hit 3-pointers.
Feb 4 - 12:15 PM

Marco Belinelli (groin) will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Magic.

Belinelli was able to practice on Tuesday and Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said he'll play on Wednesday barring a setback. Belinelli has missed eleven consecutive games with his groin injury, but his season averages of 9.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 treys limit him to a deep-league fantasy pickup.
Feb 3 - 1:41 PM

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play against the Clippers on Saturday.

He's very close to returning, but the Spurs are still not at 100 percent as a team. With Belinelli out, coach Gregg Popovich will find plenty of guys to help fill the void.
Jan 31 - 2:31 PM

Marco Belinelli (groin) went through roughly 80 percent of Friday's practice, and he is being listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Clippers.

Belinelli will likely be eased back into the rotation after spending the past 10 games on the sidelines, so there's not much reason to go and grab him in standard leagues. However, when Belinelli is at 100 percent, he'll likely take away some minutes from Patty Mills and Cory Joseph.
Jan 30 - 1:36 PM

Marco Belinelli (groin) remains out for Wednesday's game vs. Charlotte.

This will be his tenth straight game on the sidelines, and it's clear that the Spurs likely won't bring him back until he is 100 percent. Belinelli should be dropped in most leagues, while players like Patty Mills, Manu Ginobili and Cory Joseph will pick up extra minutes in the short-term.
Jan 28 - 11:36 AM

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play against the Bucks on Sunday.

This is his ninth straight game on the sidelines and there is still no indication on when he will return to action. Belinelli can be dropped in almost all leagues for now, while Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills and Cory Joseph will all benefit in the short-term.

Jan 25 - 10:47 AM

Marco Belinelli (groin) will miss his eighth consecutive game vs. the Lakers on Friday.

San Antonio is playing it safe with Belinelli, who has now missed 16 of the Spurs' first 44 games. His absence has opened up more playing time for Manu Ginobili, primarily, but Gregg Popovich's rotations are too unpredictable to rely on fellow reserve guards Cory Joseph and Patty Mills.
Jan 23 - 1:47 PM

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play against the Bulls on Thursday.

He has been sidelined since Jan. 9, and considering this is the second time that he has seen extensive time on the sidelines due to his groin, the Spurs likely won't bring him back until he is 100 percent. Consider Belinelli day-to-day for now, and expect Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills and Cory Joseph to fill the void.

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play on Sunday vs. the Jazz as expected.

The earliest we will see Belinelli back on the court is Jan. 22 against the Bulls, but owners shouldn't hold their breath knowing how cautious the Spurs are. Until his return, expect Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills and Cory Joseph to see increased minutes off the bench.
Jan 18 - 10:04 AM

Coach Gregg Popovich said that Marco Belinelli will be out at least another 7-10 days with a groin/abdominal injury.

That means that Belinelli won't return until Jan. 22 at the earliest for San Antonio's game against Chicago. With Belinelli sidelined, more minutes will go to guys like Patty Mills, Cory Joseph and Manu Ginboili.
Jan 16 - 7:19 PM

Marco Belinelli (groin) is out for Friday's game against Portland.

Patty Mills, Cory Joseph, and Manu Ginobili will all split Belinelli's reserve minutes with Ginobili offering the most upside out of the group. However, with Kawhi Leonard (hand) expected to make his return on Friday, these guys don't look to be very enticing daily league plays.
