Marco Belinelli played 15 minutes on Monday with two points, two assists and two turnovers.
He really picked it up while DeMarcus Cousins was out, but there just won't be enough shots or minutes for Belinelli now that the Kings have their studs healthy. He's a drop candidate in most leagues after a really nice week. Dec 1 - 3:01 AM

Marco Belinelli scored 17 points with one rebound, one assist, two steals and three 3-pointers against the Bucks on Wednesday.

When one of the most-used players like DeMarcus Cousins (back) misses time, there are going to be a lot of shots to go around. Belinelli played minutes at both wing spots and he's going to be asked to take a ton of shots from outside. If you need treys in the short term, give him a look. His value will drop once Boogie is back.
Nov 25 - 11:52 PM

Marco Belinelli played 38 minutes against the Hornets on Monday with 17 points, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

The Kings went small for a decent amount of this game and coach George Karl is beginning to trust Belinelli more off the bench. Even with Rudy Gay back tonight, there's a decent chance Bello could get in the mix in standard leagues. If you need treys, give him a look.
Nov 23 - 11:24 PM

Marco Belinelli scored 13 points against the Magic on Saturday with two rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes.

He played at both wing positions with more time at small forward tonight. Belinelli should be getting minutes in the high 20s while Rudy Gay (shoulder) is out, so he'll be able to flirt with top 100 value in that time due to his output in treys.
Nov 21 - 8:08 PM

Marco Belinelli scored a team-high 23 points during a 116-109 loss to the Heat on Thursday, adding one rebound, one assist and five 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

He scored six points in his first two minutes of action and kept his foot on the gas throughout the game. If Rudy Gay (shoulder) needs to miss time, Belinelli will be a very important floor-spacing guy for the Kings and should see minutes in the mid 20s. If you need 3-pointers, give him a look in 14-team leagues. If Gay is out, Bello would be worth a look in standard leagues.
Nov 19 - 10:30 PM

Marco Belinelli was solid in Monday's loss to the Spurs, scoring 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting with five assists, one board and three 3-pointers.

Belinelli is benefiting from some extra ball-handling responsibilities due to the absence of Darren Collison (hamstring), and he is now averaging 14. 2 points, 3.0 assists, 1.4 boards and 2.0 3-pointers over his last five games. He could continue to put up late-round value until Collison is back, so give him a look.
Nov 10 - 1:18 AM

Marco Belinelli picked up some minutes at point guard on Saturday, finishing with 22 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

While the Kings may not have Darren Collison (hamstring), they should have Seth Curry (ankle) soon. Even if he doesn't play point guard, Bello is the best shooter on the team and he is in a position to succeed. He should be able to put up late-round value while Collison is out given how Collison has played 37.1 percent of his minutes next to Rajon Rondo.
Nov 8 - 4:28 AM

Marco Belinelli scored five points in his start at shooting guard on Friday against the Rockets.

Bello hit 2-of-10 shots and the Kings haven't done a great job of maximizing his talent, and likewise Belinelli hasn't been great taking advantages of the looks he's getting. He added one rebound and two assists to this terrible stat line, but at some point he's bound to get loose and make some noise. Owners can wait for that to happen before considering a pickup, of course.
Nov 7 - 2:59 AM

Marco Belinelli will start for the Kings against the Rockets on Friday.

He'll join Rajon Rondo, James Anderson, Rudy Gay and Kosta Koufos in the first unit. The Kings will likely use a lot of smaller lineups, so we might see a lot of Bello scoring on the wings. He does have some increased value while DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) is out.
Nov 6 - 8:52 PM

Marco Belinelli made 2-of-8 FGs and 6-of-6 FTs to finish Saturday's road loss with 11 points, one 3-pointer, two boards, one assist and one steal in 28 bench minutes.

He's shooting 7-of-27 through three games, but he came up big in the clutch and George Karl isn't likely to rein him in any time soon. The bad news is that high-volume shooting without supporting stats are a recipe for vapid value in nearly all leagues.
Nov 1 - 1:32 AM

Marco Belinelli hit just 2-of-7 shots (including a three) for six points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes off the bench in Friday's blowout win.

Bello would get more minutes and be deployed a bit more aggressively in a normal game, so if you were looking at him for his 3-point shooting that should help explain the off-night. Omri Casspi got into the action with 12 points and nine boards in 22 minutes and is not a fantasy option.
Oct 31 - 2:45 AM

Marco Belinelli scored nine points and handed out seven assists in 32 minutes off the bench on Wednesday, adding two rebounds and one assist without any turnovers.

He knocked down three 3-pointers but those were his only makes, and he finished 3-of-12 from the field without any FT attempts. Belinelli has been given carte blanche offensively with the second unit and he looks ready to take full advantage, but fantasy owners can't rely on him for more than scoring and 3-point shooting.
Oct 29 - 2:23 AM

Marco Belinelli will come off the bench for the Kings, according to Kings head coach George Karl.

Karl has previously alluded to using Belinelli off the bench and his recent comments seemed to cement that idea. "The one guy I probably will not start is Belinelli," Karl said. "I want him off the bench. DC [Darren Collison] is a guy that I probably will not start either. That doesn’t mean they don’t deserve consideration, if I had to win a game tomorrow, Belinelli may start." While Belinelli is a solid late-round target in deeper league, having him come of the bench will give starter Ben McLemore a boost in fantasy value.
Oct 22 - 10:40 AM

Kings head coach George Karl said a reserve role suits Marco Belinelli well.

Belinelli has started just 61 of his last 215 games and it doesn't sound like that trend is about to change. "I can just tell you my feeling the last two to three years, which I think have been best of his career, he’s been coming off the bench," Karl said. "I think in Chicago he was really good and in San Antonio he was really good." Belinelli is a decent late-round target in deeper leagues, but having him come off the bench is more of a fantasy boost for likely starter Ben McLemore.
Oct 8 - 11:32 AM

Marco Belinelli connected on four of his team-high 15 shot attempts vs. the Suns, finishing with 12 points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 26 minutes.

George Karl must be giving Belinelli free reign offensively, as the newly-acquired King went just 1-of-10 from beyond the arc. The eight-year veteran doesn't offer fantasy value beyond 3-pointers and steady FT shooting, which makes him especially unappealing with Ben McLemore (six points, four rebounds in 26 minutes) favored to start at SG.
