The Bulls have waived Chris Richard.
Richard averaged just 2.1 points last season in limited action for the Bulls last season and shouldn't have fantasy relevance this season even if he lands on another team's bench. Wed, Oct 6, 2010 01:47:00 PM

While it was rumored yesterday, the Bulls officially signed big man Chris Richard for the rest of the season on Wednesday.

The signing also officially releases Lindsey Hunter from the Bulls. Richards' fantasy value is limited so don't read too much into the signing.

The Bulls signed big man Chris Richard for the rest of the season on Tuesday night.

Joakim Noah could be out of commission for several games, if not weeks, and Richard will help fill the hole left by him and Tyrus Thomas. Richard isn't likely to have much value, but is worth keeping an eye on.

Bulls will re-sign F/C Chris Richard sometime in the next 24 hours.

The Bulls never should have let go of Richard in the first place. He is a solid rebounder that can provide depth with Joakim Noah (foot) hobbled.

Bulls waived F/C Chris Richard.

The Bulls picked up Acie Law and Flip Murray in exchange for Ty Thomas, so they needed to dump someone. Richard can rebound at the NBA level and will likely pop back up with another team down the road.

The Bulls signed forward Chris Richard to a second 10-day contract.

He will only get run as long as Joakim Noah is out with his foot injury, although could end up being signed for the remainder of the season if Tyrus Thomas is traded.

Big man Chris Richard, who is just trying to make the Bulls' roster, had 17 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks in Wednesday's win.

Once Tyrus Thomas is healthy, we expect Richard to become a forgotten man.

Second-year Wolves' forward Chris Richard signed a one-year qualifying offer on Monday.

He wasn’t present for last year’s media day because he didn’t sign a one-year deal until the day practice began.

Chris Richard got another start for the Timberwolves on Saturday, finishing with four points and eight rebounds in 19 minutes.

Richard isn't going to have fantasy value anytime soon, and we're not quite sure why Randy Wittman is still starting him over Antoine Walker and Craig Smith.

Chris Richard got the first start of his career Friday against Indiana and had six rebounds in 18 minutes.

The Wolves second-round pick started in place of Craig Smith tonight. The Timberwolves were without Marko Jaric and Rashad McCants, so Smith came off the bench to give the second unit some offensive punch.

Chris Richard came through with a buzzer-beating tip-in that forced a second overtime and a blocked shot with 16 seconds remaining to ensure a 113-110 double-overtime victory Saturday.

"We don't have a lot of bangers," coach Randy Wittman said. "He's a legitimate banger. He likes contact; he likes to hit people. Those guys are hard to come by these days." The second-round selection remains on the bubble for a roster spot though - he could start the year in the Developmental League.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed second-round draft pick Chris Richard.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed Saturday and the 6-foot-9 forward from Florida may get some extra minutes as Mark Madsen recovers from shoudler surgery. He has no fantasy value.

Timberwolves' second-round draft pick Chris Richard remains unsigned.

Nearly all second-round picks sign for the league minimum salary, but Richard and his agent are fighting for more guaranteed money than the Wolves are offering. Richard should actually get some playing time if he signs, due to the loss of center Mark Madsen for the first portion of the season. "By Saturday, he has to make a decision," Kevin McHale said.
