Brian Windhorst of ESPN said that the Cavaliers "would love to get their hands on Jared Dudley."
The Cavaliers are in the market for some help on the wings, and Dudley would be a solid addition to their bench and is shooting 45.9 percent from beyond the arc this season. However, nothing is imminent and a move away from Washington would be devastating for his fantasy value. We will let you know if this report moves past the rumor stage. Feb 5 - 10:14 AM

Jared Dudley moved back into the starting lineup for Saturday's game vs. the Rockets, scoring 16 points with five boards, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

The playing time was really nice, but it helped that Nene was ejected with a couple of technical fouls. Dudley shot 5-of-8 from the field and turned the ball over just once, and he should stick in the starting lineup because he is a solid fit next to Marcin Gortat. Dudley isn't the most exciting player, but he is worth owning in standard leagues at the moment.
Jan 31 - 12:53 AM

Jared Dudley will start on Saturday vs. the Rockets, sending Nene back to the bench.

The Wizards have lost three straight games and Nene is not a good fit next to Marcin Gortat, so it's a wise move by Washington. Dudley is capable of being a low-end asset with points, 3-pointers and steals, so give him a look if you need help in those categories.
Jan 30 - 7:52 PM

Jared Dudley came off the Wizards' bench for 10 points, one rebound, four assists and two steals in an easy win vs. the Heat.

He played 26 minutes behind Nene and this was likely a matchup-based move by coach Randy Wittman, though it was successful enough that he might think about keeping Dudley on the bench for Saturday's game vs. Utah. Anyone deploying Duds for late-round value should hang tight.
Jan 20 - 10:57 PM

Jared Dudley will come off the bench against the Heat.

This could be a matchup-based move against Chris Bosh. Nene has very little fantasy value because he's hurt so much.
Jan 20 - 6:58 PM

Jared Dudley scored 15 points with seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes against the Celtics on Saturday.

It's been an up-and-down scoring run for Dudley in his last five with 15, three, 13, eight and 16 points in his last five. He does have 2.4 treys per game and did make 51.2 percent from the field, so he does have some low-end value. Although, his usage rate will be dropping as Bradley Beal's minutes ramp up.
Jan 16 - 10:53 PM

Jared Dudley played 38 minutes against the Magic on Saturday with 16 points, three rebounds, four assists and four 3-pointers.

It's by far his best game of 2016. In those five games, Dudley was only able to average 8.8 points, 4.0 boards, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.6 treys on 38.5 percent from the field. Dudley is getting a few extra shots now because Brad Beal (leg) is out. If Dudley is still on the wire in your league, it's probably for good reason.
Jan 9 - 9:51 PM

Jared Dudley played 29 minutes against the Raptors on Friday with five points, four rebounds, four assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

He's looked pretty slow lately, but his minutes have held steady close to 30. Dudley is still hanging around top 100 value in standard leagues for his last 10 games, but the limited upside makes him a low-end asset in fantasy leagues.
Jan 8 - 9:29 PM

Jared Dudley scored 12 points and tied his season high with four assists on Wednesday, adding two 3-pointers, five rebounds and one steal in 35 minutes vs. the Cavs.

Dudley continues to play heavy minutes as a stretch-PF for the Wizards, a job he's likely to retain even when Kris Humphries (knee) returns to health. Otto Porter also had a strong across-the-board game tonight with 12 points, seven boards, two assists, two steals and one block, but the Wizards lost a heart-breaker at home, 115-121.
Jan 6 - 11:33 PM

Jared Dudley played well in 36 minutes vs. the Raptors, finishing a tough 91-94 loss with 17 points, three 3-pointers, three rebounds, three assists and three steals.

He shot 6-of-10 from the field and canned a 3-pointer that brought Washington within one point with 39 seconds left, but they failed to score again. Dudley is one of the dullest fantasy players you can roster, but he's providing steady late-round value as a source of 3-pointers (1.6), steals (1.1) and FG percentage (49.5).

Jared Dudley did not score in 13 minutes against the Clippers on Monday with one turnover and no other stats.

That hot streak was fun while it lasted. Dudley scored just three points on Saturday and his poor play in the first unit may cost him some minutes. He's not a player you need to cut, but you can consider cutting him for a hot free agent.
Mon, Dec 28, 2015 11:10:00 PM

Jared Dudley scored 19 points with nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in 41 minute against the Hornets on Saturday.

This was what Dudley is supposed to do when the Wizards are depleted. Dudley is finally getting it going over his last five, averaging 11.2 points, 5.4 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.0 treys in 31.6 minutes per game. His minutes are pretty safe in the upper 20s, so he's worth a look if you need 3-pointers with some points and steals.

Jared Dudley is starting on Saturday against the Hornets.

He should be logging a lot of minutes tonight. The last time we thought Dudley was going to log big minutes, he was a monster let down. Hopefully, he's better tonight and is in play for DFS.
Sat, Dec 19, 2015 06:30:00 PM

Jared Dudley had only two points and two rebounds in 19 minutes after moving to the Wizards' bench on Wednesday.

Randy Wittman didn't like the idea of Dudley defending LaMarcus Aldridge or David West, reasonably, so he shifted Kris Humphries into the first unit. Marvin Williams presents a much more palatable matchup on Saturday, so Dudley's demotion was likely just a one-game switch.
Thu, Dec 17, 2015 01:08:00 AM

Jared Dudley will come off the bench for Wednesday's game in San Antonio, with Kris Humphries drawing the start.

Dudley has been playing very well for the Wizards as of late, and he should still get close to 30 minutes tonight despite coming off the bench. However, on a 12-game night, Dudley isn't all that enticing of an option.
