Wilson Chandler returned to action after a one-game hiatus during a 114-107 win over the Mavericks on Wednesday, scoring 15 points with 10 rebounds, six assists and one 3-poitner in 39 minutes.
The Nuggets ran all over the Mavericks tonight and coach Brian Shaw knew that was the way to go with how Dallas was short-handed. Chandler was out for his previous game due to a knee issue, which has plagued him for much of his career. Plus, he'll be on the trade block, according to multiple reports. Chandler is worth owning in standard leagues, but selling high will always be an option. Jan 14 - 11:51 PM

Date:

Wilson Chandler (knee) will start against the Mavs on Wednesday.

This isn't a surprise and coach Brian Shaw called Chandler a full go yesterday. He will be worth using in the short-term, but a trade would really hurt his fantasy value.
Jan 14 - 8:22 PM

Coach Brian Shaw said the Nuggets are not actively shopping Wilson Chandler and Arron Afflalo.

"Obviously calls come in, and we field calls. But we're not saying, 'Hey, we're trying to get rid of Arron, we're trying to get rid of Wilson,'" Shaw said. There have been rumors surrounding both guys for a couple weeks and it probably behooves the Nuggets to rebuild after they were able to dump Timofey Mozgov for two picks. If both guys are dealt -- Randy Foye is also reportedly on the block -- rookie Gary Harris could get a clear runway for minutes. Alonzo Gee and Darrell Arthur would also benefit.

Wilson Chandler (quad) has practiced in full the past two days, and he is a go for Wednesday's game against Dallas.

Chandler is in an ideal situation in Denver, so the recent reports that the Nuggets are shopping him "hard" should have owners looking to sell-high. It's also worth noting that Chandler has really struggled staying healthy throughout his career, which would just be another reason to try and flip him while he's still putting up quality numbers.
Jan 13 - 4:59 PM

The Nuggets are shopping Wilson Chandler (knee), according to David Aldridge of NBA.com.

Chandler has a team option for the 2015-16 season, so it looks like the rebuilding Nuggets are exploring what they can get back for the 27-year-old. Chandler is averaging 14.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 2.0 treys on the season and deserves to be owned in standard fantasy leagues, but his value could take a hit if he's dealt to a contender with less rotational minutes to go around.
Jan 13 - 11:09 AM

Wilson Chandler (knee) will not play against the Kings on Friday.

It's a right knee strain and this is the first news of any injury on Chandler. He did have a right quad contusion earlier in 2015, so that could be related. Chandler also had right knee issues last season, so there are a number of things that could have went wrong. While he's out, Arron Afflalo will likely play more small forward while Nate Robinson and Gary Harris could play more too.
Jan 9 - 9:02 PM

Wilson Chandler played 34 minutes against the Bulls on Thursday with 22 points, three rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers on 8-of-16 from the field.

He had a minor quad contusion from Tuesday and it didn't seem to affect him. Chandler is logging minutes all over the floor and he'll continue taking triples and doing a little bit of everything, scoring 15.6 points and making 2.1 treys in December. If he can boost his field goal shooting like he did today, he could see a nice bump in fantasy value.
Jan 1 - 10:26 PM

Wilson Chandler (quad contusion) is a go for Thursday's game against the Bulls.

Chandler lasted just 16 minutes during the Nuggets' loss to the Lakers on Tuesday, and it's not clear if he'll be limited tonight. With a tough matchup against the Bulls, Chandler isn't a great option in daily leagues.
Jan 1 - 7:00 PM

Wilson Chandler is day-to-day with the quad injury that he suffered in Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers.

He took a knee to the quad and said that his muscle was pretty stiff, so we will monitor his status closely prior to Thursday's game vs. the Bulls. Erick Green would likely start in place of Chandler if he sits, but he is too unreliable to use in most leagues.

Wilson Chandler will not return to Tuesday's game due to a bruised right quad.

Erick Green started the second half for Denver but there are no clear-cut fantasy winners in this scenario. Chandler's owners will have to sit tight as we await updates, but presumably he'll be listed as questionable to play vs. the Bulls on Thursday.

Wilson Chandler double-doubled on Sunday vs. the Raptors, finishing with 20 points, 10 boards, three assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes.

He has been playing big minutes with Danilo Gallinari (knee) on the sidelines, and has been one of the most reliable players for Denver this season. Chandler has seen his name appear in several trade rumors recently which would undoubtedly hurt his fantasy value, but nothing is imminent right now and his owners shouldn't be too concerned. Chandler is worth owning in all standard leagues.

The Nuggets have received trade inquiries on Wilson Chandler, but would like to keep him in Denver, according to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post.

Dempsey reports that the Nuggets have received trade inquiries from a few teams, but would prefer to hold onto Chandler. The Nuggets may entertain those inquiries if they slip in the standings over the next few weeks as Chandler is having the best season of his career and could fetch a handsome return. With season averages of 14.0 points, 6.0 boards, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.4 blocks, and 2.2 three-pointers, Chandler is worth owning in all standard fantasy leagues.

Wilson Chandler played 21 minutes against the Hornets on Monday with eight points, nine rebounds and one block.

He picked up some minutes at power forward tonight and he should see an overall increase to his value while Danilo Gallinari (knee) is on the shelf. Chandler is worth owning in standard leagues and perhaps owners can use this dud to try and buy low on him.
Mon, Dec 22, 2014 09:55:00 PM

Wilson Chandler could not get it going against the Pacers on Saturday with four points, three rebounds, one block and one 3-pointer.

He made 1-of-10 from the field and is in a mini-slump from beyond the arc, making just three of his last 15 attempts. Chandler is still getting solid minutes even with Danilo Gallinari suddenly coming on. He's still worth owning in standard leagues.
Sun, Dec 21, 2014 12:53:00 AM

Wilson Chandler was outstanding against the Rockets during a 115-111 overtime loss on Wednesday with 23 points, six rebounds, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers.

He keeps putting up big lines and coach Brian Shaw will continue to play him huge minutes. Over his last five, Chandler has averaged 16.2 points, 6.4 boards, 1.0 steals and 2.6 triples. His fantasy owners can consider him a must-start guy, but a trade would really hurt his fantasy value.
