Wilson Chandler scored a team-high 19 points against the Suns on Wednesday with seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.
The Nuggets are banged up and they also lost Danilo Gallinari (knee) to soreness. Chandler was already getting minutes as a stretch four and the team is clearly going to count on him for scoring with Randy Foye (knee) also out. He should be owned in all standards right now. Nov 27 - 2:49 AM

Nuggets coach Brian Shaw said that the starting SF job is still up for grabs between Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari.

"I did tell Gallo and Wilson, when I made the change to put Wilson in the starting lineup, that it wasn't going to be permanent," said Shaw. "And so, now it's just a matter of when I feel confident enough in Gallo being back to where he was or close to where he was, to switch it back. But he's not there yet, and so we'll just leave it the way it is." Gallinari looked good while scoring 17 points in 23 minutes on Friday, but Chandler has been even more impressive and consistent for the past few weeks. Fantasy owners should enjoy Chandler's production while it lasts, as his starting job is far from guaranteed.

Nov 22 - 1:22 PM

Wilson Chandler kept the ball rolling against the Pelicans on Friday with 19 points, eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes.

He is playing some minutes as the stretch four on top of his duties as the starting small forward. Chandler has been hot over his last 10 games and should be owned in all standard leagues until he cools off.
Nov 22 - 1:49 AM

Wilson Chandler hit 8-of-15 shots and three 3-pointers for a season-high 21 points, nine rebounds and an assist in Monday's win.

He's scored in double figures in five straight games and eight of his last nine, as Danilo Gallinari struggles for minutes and a return to health. This was his best game of the season and at this point, Chandler should be owned in all leagues until further notice.
Nov 20 - 3:07 AM

Wilson Chandler scored 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting (including two threes) with nine rebound and two steals over 38 minutes in Monday's road win over the Cavs.

Chandler was sitting right on the cut line in 12-team leagues before tonight, but if he's going to step into starter's minutes he'll be worth owning in most formats. Of course, we don't know what Brian Shaw is going to do from night-to-night and a lot depends on Danilo Gallinari's (eight minutes) knee, but owners should take a look at Chandler as a speculative add.
Nov 17 - 10:17 PM

Wilson Chandler double-doubled in Friday's loss to the Cavs, scoring 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting (including two threes) with 10 rebounds and one steal in 27 minutes.

Chandler also coughed up the ball five times and has a 28.9 percent field goal percentage on the year. He's been one of the few guys with some fight on the team, and while this is a situation you don't want to ignore you definitely want to avoid it unless a lot of minutes clear up.
Nov 8 - 4:39 AM

Wilson Chandler was moved into the starting lineup in place of Danilo Gallinari for Monday's 110-105 loss to the Kings, scoring 14 points on 5-of-15 shooting (1-of-8 from deep) with four rebounds and one block in 31 minutes.

Chandler is definitely the player to be owned between he and Gallinari, who doesn't look like he's ready for a starting job just yet. The Nuggets have looked terrible over their last two games and it wouldn't be surprising if Brian Shaw shakes some more things up if there isn't an immediate improvement.
Nov 4 - 1:28 AM

Wilson Chandler will start instead of Danilo Gallinari in Tuesday's game against the Kings.

Gallinari's knee will be the first thing that comes to mind and it's possible he's just not ready to hold down the starting spot yet. Still, unless we hear that Gallo has suffered a setback, owners should only give Chandler a slight bump in projections. Neither project to be great fantasy assets in an increasingly crowded Denver rotation.
Nov 3 - 7:36 PM

Wilson Chandler played 24 minutes against the Pistons on Wednesday with seven poitns, three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer.

He should have no problem keeping his minutes in the 20s while the team manages Danilo Gallinari's minutes. Chandler is also injury prone, so there negatives probably outweigh the positives as a deep-league pickup.
Oct 30 - 2:06 AM

Wilson Chandler scored 18 points with three rebounds, one assist, four steals and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes on Thursday.

The Nuggets are going to ease Danilo Gallinari back, Wil-Chand should be able to get some nice chances in the first month. He's still only an option in deeper leagues for his short-term value.
Oct 17 - 12:40 AM

Wilson Chandler played through his groin injury on Tuesday and had seven points, six rebounds and a 3-pointer on 3-of-7 shooting.

If he's not 100 percent, it's easy to see him sitting out in Wednesday's finale, and Evan Fournier (9 points on 3-of-10 shooting) could step up if Chandler is out.
Apr 16 - 1:30 AM

Wilson Chandler is traveling with the team and is expected to play against the Clippers on Tuesday.

It was a surprise to see him in the lineup on Saturday, but he did leave the game with another injury and did not return. Chandler is likely looking at a game-time call and we probably won't know much until Tuesday night. There are only two games on Tuesday, so owners in daily leagues certainly should gamble on Chandler. Evan Fournier takes a hit.
Apr 14 - 4:35 PM

Wilson Chandler hit 3-of-7 shots for nine points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals, a block and a 3-pointer in 21 minutes on Saturday in his return from a groin injury, but left the game and didn't return.

Not only did he leave the game, but he also left the bench and went to the locker room, presumably for treatment on his groin. And with nothing left to play for, signs are pointing to Chandler's season being over. Evan Fournier and Randy Foye look like strong plays the rest of the way, if that's the case.
Apr 13 - 12:50 AM

Wilson Chandler (groin) is available to play against the Jazz on Saturday.

There has been very little information on Chandler for the past week, so this is a huge surprise. There's been even less detail as how he's looked in practice, so we'd guess he's going to be limited tonight. Unless you're cutting someone with little value, we'd probably to see how Chandler looks tonight before making a move to add him.
Apr 12 - 7:44 PM

Wilson Chandler (groin) won't play on Wednesday and it's uncertain if he'll return this season.

Chandler is being encouraged to play by coach Brian Shaw, but he may not risk a setback with only a handful of games remaining in a lost season. Fill-in starter Quincy Miller had a breakout game on Sunday and will look to make it two in a row vs. the Rockets.
