Wilson Chandler started alongside Danilo Gallinari and Kenneth Faried on Sunday, posting 14 points, two 3-pointers and eight rebounds in 34 minutes while shooting 6-of-10 from the field.
Denver lost 19 of their previous 21 games and coach Brian Shaw is grasping at straws. He switched three starting positions tonight and might do the same vs. the Bucks on Tuesday, so at the moment it's hard to rely on Chandler in standard leagues. Mar 1 - 11:07 PM

Date:

Wilson Chandler will start Sunday's game vs. the Pelicans, sending Joffrey Lauvergne to the bench.

The Nuggets are opting to go with a small-ball lineup with Chandler playing the role of the stretch four, so it will be interesting to see how he fares. Chandler recently returned from a groin injury that cost him two games, but his owners shouldn't be too concerned after he was able to log 34 minutes vs. the Jazz on Friday. Chandler is worth owning in almost all leagues, while owners who took a flier on Lauvergne can start evaluating their options.
Mar 1 - 6:56 PM

Wilson Chandler hit 2-of-11 shots in his 34-minute stint off the bench on Friday, finishing with six points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer.

The line isn't bad even if the shooting was. With the way the Nuggets have thinned out, Chandler should be owned in most formats.
Feb 28 - 4:03 AM

Updating a previous report, Wilson Chandler will come off the bench for Friday's game against the Jazz.

Gary Harris is going to stick with the starting unit for this one, and this is a very interesting move for head coach Brian Shaw. The Nuggets don't have a lot of healthy bodies, so Chandler should still be able to get his minutes, but he'll be a bit more of a risky play coming off the bench.
Feb 27 - 7:24 PM

Wilson Chandler (groin) is a go for Friday's game vs. Utah.

Chandler will likely return to the starting lineup, which will send Gary Harris back to the bench, and take away minutes from Will Barton. The Nuggets are banged up right now with Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) and Darrell Arthur (calf) out, so Wilson could be forced into heavy minutes playing both forward spots.
Feb 27 - 6:50 PM

Wilson Chandler (groin) said that he'll "more than likely" be available for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.

Chandler also downplayed the severity of his groin injury, saying it's nothing more than a "light strain," and it appears he has a decent chance of suiting up for Friday's matchup with Utah. Owners will want to check back for an official update closer to Friday's tip, but if Chandler is able to go, Gary Harris would head back to the bench where he'd return to being a negligible option in all leagues. Stay tuned.

Wilson Chandler (groin) will not play against the Suns on Wednesday.

The Nuggets are very thin at forward and will start Danilo Gallinari and Darrell Arthur at those two spots. Chandler is likely going to miss more time, so there fantasy owners should take a look at Gallo and/or Arthur tonight. Although, he is targeting a return for Friday.
Feb 25 - 8:16 PM

Wilson Chandler (hip) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game vs. the Suns.

Now that they are pretty much out of playoff contention, the Nuggets have almost no incentive to play Chandler at less than 100 percent so we would be shocked if he somehow played in this one. Gary Harris drew the start in Chandler's place on Monday, but after scoring just 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting in 26 minutes, he is only worth a look in deeper leagues. Expect Randy Foye, Will Barton and Danilo Gallinari to see an uptick in minutes as well Wednesday.

Wilson Chandler (groin) will not play against the Nets on Monday.

The Nuggets are really going to be shorthanded on the wing. With Chandler out, there should be more Danilo Gallinari at the three and maybe Randy Foye and Gary Harris play more at shooting guard.
Feb 23 - 7:31 PM

Wilson Chandler (hip) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Nets.

Chandler played just 18 minutes on Sunday, and perhaps now we know why. Chandler has dealt with hip and groin injuries for a lot of his career, and he's once again experiencing soreness in his adductors. If Chandler doesn't suit up, expect Randy Foye to draw the start alongside Danilo Gallinari. Will Barton and rookie Gary Harris could also see a few extra minutes.

Wilson Chandler played only 18 minutes in Sunday's ugly road loss vs. the Thunder, going 2-of-11 from the field to finish with four points, four rebounds and one assist.

Chandler had scored 10+ points in seven of the Nuggets' previous eight games and this was a fluky performance by any measure. Denver may start favoring young players over veterans down the stretch, which would erode Chandler's fantasy appeal, but for now we're anticipating a bounce-back effort vs. Brooklyn on Monday.
Feb 22 - 9:59 PM

Wilson Chandler made 8-of-20 from the field for 19 points during an 89-81 loss to the Bucks on Friday, adding four rebounds, three assists, one block and three 3-pointers.

He launched a whopping 12 treys tonight and had a whopping 29.5 usage rate in 38 minutes. Chandler is going to get a ton of shots now with Arron Afflalo out of the picture, so his fantasy owners should see better lines than this one. He's a must-own player.
Feb 21 - 3:16 AM

The Nuggets are expected to be done with making trades on Thursday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Beat writer Chris Dempsey also said he believes the Nuggets are done. That means Wilson Chandler is actually going to be in a better position to produce stats with Arron Afflalo and Alonzo Gee gone. If Chandler was cut loose, go pick him up.
Feb 19 - 12:13 PM

The Denver Nuggets are reportedly seeking two first-round picks for Wilson Chandler, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

While the Nuggets may want two first-rounders, it's unlikely that they'll get such a huge haul unless a potential trade partner panics. Chandler's fantasy value would most likely take a hit if he is dealt, while Arron Afflalo and Randy Foye would see a boost in their fantasy value as long as they're not moved in Denver's fire sale.
Feb 19 - 9:53 AM

The Blazers "could have interest" in Wilson Chandler, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

It's no secret the Nuggets are looking to acquire assets for their veterans while Portland would like to add some depth behind Nicolas Batum and "has its eye on adding a small forward," according to the report. Chandler's fantasy value would undoubtedly take a hit on a different team. If Chandler is dealt, expect to see Randy Foye and Arron Afflalo step up. Although, both of those guys could be dealt, as well.
