Wilson Chandler scored 11 points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes against the Bucks on Thursday.
The minutes are surging for Chandler now with 37.0 per game over his previous two, which came after just 22.0 in the two games prior to those. He's arguably the No. 6 scoring option on this team, but that kind of volume for playing time should allow him to add non-scoring stats. He'll cool off next month when Paul Millsap (wrist) returns, but he's worth owning in standard leagues while he's hot and healthy. Feb 15 - 10:40 PM

Date:

Wilson Chandler hit 8-of-19 shots for 17 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in 34 minutes of Tuesday's win over the Spurs.

Chandler has become very relevant over his last three games and has been really good in his last two, averaging 37 minutes, 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 2.0 blocks and 1.5 3-pointers, hitting 19-of-34 shots. Chandler has been pretty bad since December (or the whole season) and as a result, is available in 69 percent of Yahoo! leagues. That may not be the case for much longer, and while it's a small sample size and there are no guarantees that it will last, Chandler has looked like a different player in the last few games. He's worth a flyer until we find out if it will last.
Feb 14 - 1:06 AM

Wilson Chandler finished Saturday's 123-113 win at Phoenix with a team-high 26 points across 40 minutes.

Chandler was meeting very little resistance from the defensively-challenged Suns, as he hit 11-of-15 from the field, including 3-of-4 from behind the 3-point line. He also added three rebounds, three assists and a steal while finishing with a plus-10 rating. He entered the game with an 8.8 PPG average for the season, and he had posted just 22 total points over his first four games in February, so this was quite the surprise.
Feb 11 - 12:39 AM

Wilson Chandler played through an illness on Monday vs. the Hornets, finishing with two points on 1-of-4 shots with one steal in 21 minutes.

Chandler has been quiet for most of the season and is in a really bad slump right now, scoring a combined 11 points in his last three games. He's not a fantasy asset outside of the deepest of leagues.
Feb 5 - 11:29 PM

Wilson Chandler (illness) is available on Monday vs. the Hornets.

The Nuggets sent him home from the morning shootaround after administering IV's, but he'll be available if coach Malone calls his name. He's a risky play in all formats.
Feb 5 - 8:07 PM

Wilson Chandler (illness) is probable for Monday's game vs. the Hornets.

He's had this illness for a few days and didn't go through the morning shootaround. Chandler did play 24 minutes on Saturday, but didn't play well with five points, two rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer. He's fully expected to play, but if he's not feeling up to it we could see more of Will Barton and Torrey Craig.
Feb 5 - 1:11 PM

Wilson Chandler scored five points with two rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday.

He didn't exactly play well against Kevin Durant, but he gave the team good minutes. Chandler has become more of a glue guy with a drop in fantasy production.
Feb 3 - 11:53 PM

Wilson Chandler will start against the Warriors on Saturday.

The Nuggets will go small again as they attempt to defend Kevin Durant with Chandler. He's still not really worth owning in most leagues despite the starting nod.
Feb 3 - 8:31 PM

Wilson Chandler (illness) is available to play against the Warriors on Saturday.

He's not a total lock to be out there and has been dealing with illness problems for about a week. If he is limited, Torrey Craig and Trey Lyles will play more.
Feb 3 - 7:57 PM

Wilson Chandler (illness) missed shootaround and is uncertain to play against the Warriors on Saturday.

He's had some trouble with this illness and it sounds like he could miss this game. If he is out, that should open up minutes for Torrey Craig and Trey Lyles.
Feb 3 - 7:33 PM

Wilson Chandler (illness) is probable to face the Warriors on Saturday.

He had an illness last weekend and it kept him out two games. Chandler did return on Thursday and played 34 minutes, but maybe he's not totally over it. If he's out, that means more run for Trey Lyles and Torrey Craig.
Feb 3 - 2:59 PM

Wilson Chandler scored four points with four rebounds and two blocks in 34 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday.

He made some key defensive plays and set an important screen late, but the fantasy value just isn't there for Chandler right now.
Feb 2 - 1:42 AM

Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Will Barton, Wilson Chandler and Nikola Jokic will start against the Thunder on Thursday.

That'll bump Darrell Arthur out of the first unit and possibly the rotation. Chandler was battling some migraines this weekend and he didn't play on Tuesday. He won't get enough shots to be worth owning in shallower leagues.
Feb 1 - 10:00 PM

Wilson Chandler didn't play on Tuesday due to an illness.

He was listed as available, but missed his second straight game. He should be ready to roll on Thursday, assuming he's feeling better by then, but coach Mike Malone added after the game that he wants to get Torrey Craig as much playing time as he can before he's sent back to the G-League soon.
Jan 31 - 12:07 AM

Wilson Chandler (illness) will be available to play Tuesday vs. the Spurs.

Chandler sat out Monday's game, but he should be back out there tonight, which will translate to fewer minutes for Will Barton. Chandler has been extremely inconsistent this season, so he's not a great target in most leagues with a tough matchup against San Antonio.
