Aaron Brooks made 2-of-12 from the field for four points with one rebound, four assists, one block and no turnovers in 20 minutes against the Hornets on Monday.
The Bulls bench was a nightmare and Brooks missed more shots than any other Bull. If Derrick Rose (soreness) can't play on Wednesday, Brook should get another chance. He can be left on the wire in almost all leagues. Feb 8 - 9:25 PM

Aaron Brooks is expected to have a larger role with Derrick Rose (soreness) out on Monday against the Hornets.

While Kirk Hinrich gets the start, it should be Brooks getting more shots and maybe even more minutes. He's in play as a streamer and a DFS option.
Feb 8 - 6:53 PM

Aaron Brook played 33 minutes against the Heat on Monday with 13 points, two rebounds, six assists, three steals and two 3-pointers.

The Bulls are running out of point guards because Derrick Rose (hamstring) got hurt yet again. Shooting guard E'Twaun Moore (hamstring) and point guard Kirk Hinrich (quad) are also hurt, so the Bulls may have to get creative. If you need some help in the short term, give Brooks a look.
Jan 26 - 1:28 AM

Aaron Brooks played 17 minutes in a loss to the Bucks on Tuesday, scoring nine points with two boards, two assists and two 3-pointers.

The big story of Tuesday's game is that Derrick Rose left the game with a left patella injury, and it was Brooks who replaced him down the stretch. Rose will be re-evaluated on Wednesday, but it does make sense for owners in deeper leagues to give Brooks a look. The Bulls are back in action on Thursday vs. the 76ers.
Jan 12 - 11:59 PM

Aaron Brooks had five points, six rebounds and two assists in Sunday's win over the Raptors.

Brooks saw 25 minutes of action without Derrick Rose (hamstring) available, but he didn't do much with them. He'll occasionally get hot and have a scoring outburst as a result, but even in the short-term, Brooks is not a reliable fantasy option.
Jan 3 - 6:22 PM

Aaron Brooks scored seven points with two assists and one 3-pointer in 13 minutes against the Knicks on Friday.

He was ridiculous on Wednesday with 29 points, but that obviously wasn't going to continue. Brooks is more of a deep-league guy with short-term value right now. Derrick Rose (hamstring) will probably miss at least another game.
Jan 2 - 12:06 AM

Aaron Brooks flared up for a game-high 29 points during Wednesday's 102-100 overtime win, sinking 11-of-20 field goals with four 3-pointers, five assists and one steal in 41 minutes.

The Bulls have struggled to win consecutive games recently, with tonight's victory giving them back-to-back W's for the first time since Dec. 15 & 17. Brooks turned the ball over six times tonight but he was instrumental to the Bulls' success, using his quickness to get whichever shots he wanted -- only one of his attempts came from mid-range. Derrick Rose is questionable to play vs. the Knicks on Friday, so Brooks could get another blank check offensively.

Aaron Brooks scored 15 points in the fourth quarter during a 98-94 win over the Pelicans on Saturday, totaling 17 points with one rebound, three assists and three 3-pointers.

The bench was the story for the Bulls with four different bench guys hitting double figures. Brooks did score 10 points in his return to the lineup on Thursday, but he's still not someone fantasy owners can trust in almost any league while Derrick Rose is healthy.

Aaron Brooks (hamstring) played nine minutes off the bench vs. Denver, scoring two points with two rebounds and three assists.

He blocked Kenneth Faried and his hamstring didn't seem to limit him, but he's a non-factor in fantasy leagues while Derrick Rose is healthy.

Aaron Brooks (hamstring) will be available to play Wednesday against the Nuggets.

He's spent the past four games on the sidelines, but he'll be available tonight. He's averaging just 15.6 minutes per game to go with averages of 8.5 points and 1.2 three-pointers, so his value is limited to extremely deep leagues. His return will result in less minutes for E'Twaun Moore, who also is a negligible fantasy asset.

Aaron Brooks (hamstring) will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

Brooks was able to get through most of Tuesday's practice, so there's a chance he returns to the lineup tonight. He'd play limited minutes off the bench if he's able to give it a go, which would cut into E'Twaun Moore's playing time. With Derrick Rose healthy, Brooks isn't worth owning in almost any league.

Aaron Brooks (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

Brooks was able to go through "most" of Tuesday's practice, but head coach Fred Hoiberg said he wasn't sure if Brooks would be able to give it a go on Wednesday. With averages of just 8.5 points, 2.3 assists and 1.2 three-pointers per game on the season, Brooks has very little value in most leagues.

Aaron Brooks (hamstring) will not play on Monday vs. the Spurs.

This will be his fourth straight game on the shelf and it's still unclear when he will be able to return. Kirk Hinrich is questionable with a hip injury, so E'Twaun Moore will likely back up Derrick Rose on Monday.

Aaron Brooks (hamstring) will not travel to the team to Indianapolis, according to Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg.

This rules Brooks out for Friday's game against the Pacers, but could put him in play for his targeted November 30 return against the Spurs. With Derrick Rose healthy, Brooks shouldn't be owned in standard fantasy leagues even when he returns to health.

Updating a previous report, Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg said that Aaron Brooks will remain sidelined for at least the next "couple games."

That means the earliest Brooks could return would be November 30 vs. San Antonio. Kirk Hinrich will start for however long Brooks and Derrick Rose (ankle) are sidelined, with E'Twaun Moore seeing some increased opportunity for playing time off the bench. Neither Hinrich nor Moore are worth picking up in most formats with Rose seemingly close to making his return.
