The Timberwolves are hoping that Kyrylo Fesenko will play for their Summer League team.
'Fess' previously played for both the Jazz and Pacers and it sounds likely that he'll have an outside shot at making the Timberwolves next season, especially if he plays well over the summer. Jul 3 - 12:31 AM

Kyrylo Fesenko will reportedly work out for the Hawks on Tuesday.

Fesenko was waived by the Bulls in training camp, but he wouldn't provide much to Atlanta. If signed, he'll merely be an insurance policy, and not a particularly appealing one at that.

Bulls waived C Kyrylo Fesenko on Thursday.

He has a good chance of being picked up by another team and landing on a roster this season, but could also end up back with the Bulls after Nov. 19, when they'll have enough room under the hard salary cap to sign him.

Kyrylo Fesenko returned to practice on Thursday despite still being sick.

Fesenko went through the session despite being ill, so this isn't a major concern. He'll be lucky not to be wearing a suit to the games in the regular season if he makes the final roster.

Kyrylo Fesenko is sick and will not practice on Tuesday.

Fesenko may not play in Chicago's preseason game, either. Signed to a "make good" camp contract, Fesenko will be lucky to simply make the team.

The Bulls will sign C Kyrylo Fesenko this week after working him out on Monday.

It's a non-guaranteed deal for the 7'1", 280-pound center. Fesenko adds depth to the Chicago front-court bench and would be a backup along with Nazr Mohammed. The Ukrainian played in just three games last year and has no fantasy value.

Unrestricted FA Kyrylo Fesenko will work out for the Bulls on Monday.

Fesenko is the definition of a big body who would provide depth, but he offers very little on the court other than being a large human being. He's not on the fantasy radar.

Kyrylo Fesenko is scheduled to work out for the Spurs, a source tells Sports Illustrated.

Additionally, Fesenko "may work out in Cleveland soon thereafter." He was signed by the Pacers in March of last season and didn't contribute a lick while with the team. He played in three games, never eclipsed seven minutes and didn't log a single second in the playoffs. He's nothing more than a big body at the end of the bench.

Kyrylo Fesenko is unlikely to play against the Magic in the first round.

Without Dwight Howard (back) in the lineup for Orlando, Frank Vogel has been using Lou Amundson as Roy Hibbert's primary backup. "Right now he's depth and insurance," Frank Vogel said.

Frank Vogel hopes to get Kyrylo Fesenko some minutes before the playoffs.

"It is important to us to get him up to speed with all our plays and defensive schemes and continue to have him work on getting into game shape," Vogel said. The fact that he's not yet in game shape tells you all you need to know about Fesenko's chances of contributing this year.

Kyrylo Fesenko made his Pacers debut on Friday, playing seven minutes with two points and three rebounds.

Fesenko started to show some promise in Utah, but knee surgery wiped away his season and we have yet to hear an explanation for the lack of progress in his return. He'll need a stellar offseason to have any fantasy value next season.

Kyrylo Fesenko traveled with the Pacers for the first time since he was signed.

Fesenko was inactive for the Wednesday's game and will likely remain in street clothes unless someone gets injured. He's an insurance policy and has zero fantasy value.

Kyrylo Fesenko is working out some visa issues and won’t make his Pacers debut for about a week.

"He’ll be able to work with us, but he won’t be traveling to road games," said coach Frank Vogel. "He’ll be working with our strength and conditioning coach getting some shots up." Fesenko fills the role vacated by Jeff Foster, and Vogel has already said that he won't replace anyone in the rotation.

Kyrylo Fesenko is not expected to travel with the Pacers for Saturday's game in Milwaukee.

Fesenko was just signed as a backup center for Indiana, but he's not assured much playing time. "I don't anticipate in the short term him taking anybody's spots in the rotation," said Frank Vogel. "You can always have injuries late in the season. To have a big body like that to protect yourself is always a value."

Pacers signed C Kyrylo Fesenko to a contract on Friday.

Fesenko had been linked to several teams over the last month or so, but the Pacers locked him up on Friday, making sure he could be available to them in the playoffs if necessary. With Jeff Foster (back) forced into retirement on Wednesday, the Pacers were in the market for a backup big.
