Taurean Green has agreed to play for the Spanish team CAI Zaragoza next season. Details of the contract are unknown, but it is believed to be a one-year deal.

Green bounced around during his rookie season, spending time with the Blazers, Nuggets and the D-League. He hopes that a year overseas will improve his game and entice NBA teams to sign him next season. If your fantasy league includes Spanish teams, this is pretty big news.

The Knicks waived guard Taurean Green on Tuesday.

They acquired the guard from the Nuggets in the Renaldo Balkman deal, but the move was made in order to lose Balkman's salary and to clear cap space. Green may land with another team before opening night.

The Nuggets recalled Taurean Green from the D-League on Wednesday, though he was inactive for the season finale.

Green won't have any value, and his presence is an insurance policy for the Nuggets backcourt.

The Nuggets assigned guard Taurean Green to the D-League on Saturday.

Green, acquired from the Trailblazers in a trade for Von Wafer, will actually get to play in the D-League, and maybe we'll see him in some NBA games next season.

The Trailblazers are on the verge of a deal that will send Taurean Green to the Nuggets in exchange for Von Wafer.

The Blazers are overloaded with small guards, so this move--which is expected to be approved by the league very soon--kind of makes sense. Neither guy will have fantasy value.

The Blazers recalled rookie point guard Taurean Green from Idaho of the D-League.

The 52nd overall by Portland in the 2007 draft averaged 19.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 2.0 steals in four games for Idaho. He has no fantasy value though.

Blazers assigned rookie guard Taurean Green to the Idaho of the D-League.

is averaging 2.3 points, 1.3 assists and 6.0 minutes in four games for the Blazers. "This is a great opportunity for Taurean to get some more playing time and in-game experience at a professional level," GM Kevin Pritchard said. "We're grateful to have a partnership with Idaho and the D-League to help us develop our young players."

Point guard Taurean Green has moved past Sergio Rodriguez on the Blazers' depth chart, according to coach Nate McMillan. Green is expected to play alongside Jarrett Jack with the second-unit.

No need to rush out and grab Green, since the Trailblazers have all the guards they can squeeze into a rotation. This move was the direct result of the Blazers' epic collapse in the second half of Friday's game against the 76ers.

Blazers' coach Nate McMillan say he thinks rookie Taurean Green can win three or four games for the Blazers this season, while also saying that Sergio Rodriguez is currently out of the rotation.

"You put him on the floor at the end of the game with Brandon (Roy) because he can shoot the three," McMillan said of the rookie. "Right now, I would say he is the best three-point shooter among the guards...I like him.'' As for Rodriguez, it sounds like Jarrett Jack and Steve Blake are going to get most of the point guard minutes. "He's out. Right now, he is," McMillan said of Rodriguez. "He's going to have to play his way in, and that's going to be hard to do unless Blake or Jack just dog it, which I don't think will happen.'' While there is a logjam in the backcourt in Portland, Jack and Blake will both be worth owning this season, while Green now qualifies as a deep sleeper.

The Blazers selected Florida point guard Taurean Green with the 52nd pick in the draft.

Chalk up another steal for the Blazers, who now have the league's largest stable of talented young point guards. The Blazers will have some serious trading power in the next couple years if these guys develop, and Green was thought to have some first-round potential. He'll join the long list of Portland PGs that now includes Jarrett Jack, Peterri Koponen, Sergio Rodriguez and Steve Francis.
