C.J. Watson scored 13 points on 3-of-6 shooting (2-of-3 3PTs, 5-of-6 FTs) with four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 27 minutes on Friday.
George Hill (groin) returned and played 20 minutes and him getting up to full speed was likely going to take all of the appeal away from Watson. But now C.J. Miles is hurt again and owners in 12-14 team leagues that are desperate may want to give Watson a look. Jan 24 - 1:37 AM

C.J. Watson burned owners in Friday's loss, missing all three field goal attempts to finish with zero points, one rebound, one assist and one steal in 24 minutes.

With George Hill nearing a return and inconsistent production throughout the year, this is basically enough reason to cut him in standard formats. If you're looking at him in a daily league until Hill returns, Watson has been a low-end value for 12-team formats in 27 mpg.
Jan 16 - 10:37 PM

Pacers PG C.J. Watson had 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting, one 3-pointer, two rebounds, five assists and one steal on Tuesday, marking his second straight game in double figures.

Watson also watched Mo Williams drop 52 points against him, and his +/- rating of -11 was among the worst of any Pacer. He has been a serviceable fantasy option when healthy this season, but his value could dive abruptly with George Hill (groin) listed as day-to-day. Watson is averaging a career-high 10.8 points with 1.2 triples, 2.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 0.9 steals, making him a viable short-term option for owners in need of PG production.
Jan 13 - 10:15 PM

C.J. Watson scored 15 points with eight rebounds, one steal and two 3-pointers during a 107-103 overtime win over the Celtics on Friday.

He has been on the injury report for every game in the past week for a foot injury and he's likely going to have to sit out a game at some point. Watson has been solid when he gets minutes, but the nagging injury makes it tough to grab him in standard formats.
Jan 9 - 11:39 PM

C.J. Watson (foot) will play Friday vs. the Celtics.

He'll likely start with George Hill (groin) still unavailable, however, he's been slumping lately hitting just 6-of-19 shots over the past four games, making him a risky play in daily leagues.
Jan 9 - 5:08 PM

C.J. Watson (foot) is questionable to play on Friday against the Celtics.

He has been questionable in each of his last two games and was out there for both. Watson failed to make any of his attempts from the field on Wednesday and hasn't looked right since missing the first two games of 2015. We'd expect him to play, but he's not a great fantasy option.
Jan 8 - 9:20 PM

C.J. Watson played 28 minutes in the starting lineup with five points, four rebounds, five assists and four turnovers against the Warriors on Wednesday.

He missed all three shots from the field and wasn't looking for his shot much. Watson played a little more than expected with Rodney Stuckey (groin) out and could have short-term value. He's still hurt too often to add in standard leagues.
Jan 8 - 1:30 AM

C.J. Watson (foot) will play against the Warriors on Wednesday.

He said he was going to play earlier today and will see more of his minutes at shooting guard. Watson is hurt too often to be counted on in standard leagues. Donald Sloan should get minutes with Rodney Stuckey out.
Jan 7 - 9:16 PM

C.J. Watson (foot) said he expects to play against the Warriors on Wednesday.

The game is a late start at 10:30 EST, so there is still a little risk involved, especially considering he's warmed up for a game before and didn't suit up last week. Even with the revenge game factor against a team he started his career with, Watson is not a great DFS play tonight while he's hurt too much to add in standard leagues. Donald Sloan also loses some appeal.
Jan 7 - 4:23 PM

C.J. Watson (sore left foot) and Rodney Stuckey (sore right groin) are questionable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors.

This is devastating news for the Pacers, as they are already missing George Hill (groin) for this one. If either Stuckey or Watson are ruled out for Wednesday, expect Donald Sloan to play all the minutes he can handle with Solomon Hill and C.J. Miles also seeing an uptick in minutes. Stay tuned.

C.J. Watson has been hit with a $5,000 fine for his second flopping violation.

Watson flung himself to the floor while boxing out Rudy Gobert during the Pacers' game against the Jazz on Monday, so this one was an easy call for the league. Click the link below if you'd like to see the flop for yourself. Watson's next violation will result in a $10,000 fine.
Jan 6 - 5:01 PM

C.J. Watson played 27 minutes against the Jazz on Monday with nine points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and two 3-pointers.

He missed the last two due to a sore foot, which has bothered him for much of the season. Watson is likely going to miss time with this injury at some point in the near future, so it's tough to add him in most leagues.
Jan 6 - 1:17 AM

C.J. Watson (foot) will play and start against the Jazz on Monday.

There was no news on his status at shootaround and it's tough to tell how much time he's going to play. Donald Sloan has been fantastic the past two games and he has likely earned playing time anyway. Watson is more of a wait-and-see guy considering how often he's hurt.
Jan 5 - 7:23 PM

C.J. Watson (sore left foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Lakers.

This will be Watson's second consecutive game out of the lineup, but head coach Frank Vogel said that he's not necessarily out for the rest of the Pacers' road trip. We'll consider him questionable for Monday's game vs. Utah, but with both Watson and George Hill (groin) sidelined, Donald Sloan and Rodney Stuckey will be forced into heavy minutes for Indiana.

C.J. Watson (foot) is day-to-day and is questionable to play on Sunday.

He can't seem to shake this foot injury and the Pacers might just roll with Donald Sloan again. With George Hill (groin) out, Sloan is worth a look in daily leagues. Watson is too injury-prone to own.
