Anthony Tolliver started the second half of Wednesday's game, finishing with nine points, three 3-pointers, three rebounds, two assists and one block in 29 minutes.
Reggie Bullock shifted to the second unit and this is standard operating procedure for the Pistons -- they were giving up too much in the paint, so Stan Van Gundy went with more size/length after halftime. Bullock has some narrow appeal as a 3-point specialist who doesn't turn the ball over, but Tolliver belongs on the wire. Jan 17 - 11:45 PM

Anthony Tolliver started the second half for Reggie Bullock against the Raptors on Wednesday.

The Pistons need some size after the Raptors handled them inside. This doesn't really change Tolliver's fantasy value.

Anthony Tolliver came off the bench to hit 6-of-7 shots and 5-of-6 3-pointers for 17 points, three assists and two blocks in an MLK Day loss to the Hornets.

This was his best game in recent memory and he clearly had some luck working with his shot today. Tolliver would be worth a look if he was starting for the Pistons, but Stan Van Gundy has decided to roll with Reggie Bullock instead. Tolliver's currently not worth owning in most fantasy leagues, despite the nearly perfect shooting day.
Jan 15 - 3:10 PM

Anthony Tolliver started the third quarter vs. New Orleans on Monday, making 1-of-4 shots to finish with two points and three rebounds in 26 minutes.

Reggie Bullock shifted to the bench after halftime to counter the Pelicans' size up front, which made sense since Anthony Davis was torching them. Stanley Johnson (strained hip) was also out for this game but he's day-to-day, and his return will give coach Stan Van Gundy one more situational weapon to deploy. Tolliver is way too unreliable to roster in fantasy leagues.
Jan 8 - 11:46 PM

Anthony Tolliver came off the bench on Wednesday for five points, three rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes.

He took a backseat with Avery Bradley (groin) back in action tonight, as Stan Van Gundy went with a smaller lineup featuring Tobias Harris at PF alongside Boban Marjanovic, Reggie Bullock, Bradley and Ish Smith. Even if he does earn more starts, Tolliver isn't a reliable fantasy option.
Jan 4 - 12:12 AM

Anthony Tolliver scored just one point in 27 minutes during a start against the Spurs on Saturday, adding seven rebounds, one assist and two steals.

Both Luke Kennard and Reggie Bullock were playing well, so coach Stan Van Gundy just moved Tobias Harris over to the four. Tolliver can't be counted on in most fantasy leagues.

Anthony Tolliver will start against the Spurs on Saturday night.

Luke Kennard will move to the bench for this game. Tolliver made a start against the Spurs on Dec. 4, but he only scored five points in 24 minutes. He could play a little more in this game because of no Stanley Johnson (hip), so maybe Tolliver can be used as a DFS punt.

Anthony Tolliver moved back to the bench on Tuesday vs. the Pacers, finishing scoreless with three missed shots (all 3-point attempts) with one rebound and one assist.

Tolliver was coming off a nice stretch with 14.0 points and 3.8 triples over his last four games, so he was due for a dud. He will continue to be a 3-point specialist for owners in very deep leagues, at least until Detroit gets some bodies back.

Luke Kennard will replace Anthony Tolliver in the Pistons starting lineup on Tuesday vs. the Pacers.

Tolliver has started each of the Pistons last two games and averaged 15.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in those contests. However, coach Stan Van Gundy continues to tinker with his starting lineup based on matchups and will go back to Kennard on Tuesday.

Anthony Tolliver scored a season-high 18 points with two rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in a loss to the Mavs on Wednesday.

Coach Stan Van Gundy is looking for answers with Avery Bradley (groin) out and we could see more Tolliver, who also scored 17 on Sunday. However, it's likely going to be about the matchup and the Pistons getting beaten badly doesn't help his case. Unless you're desperate, Tolliver is only a lukewarm add in deeper leagues.

Stan Van Gundy said that either Anthony Tolliver or Luke Kennard will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks sans Avery Bradley (groin).

Van Gundy will base his starting lineup on who Dallas goes with, so if the Mavs go big, we can expect to see Tolliver get the starting nod. That said, he's not much more than a 3-point specialist in deep leagues, whereas Kennard isn't really worth owning anywhere. Stay tuned.

Anthony Tolliver scored 17 points in 24 minutes on Sunday, shooting 5-of-7 from downtown with two rebounds, two assists and two turnovers.

Tolliver's hot shooting helped Detroit tie a franchise record with 17 made three-pointers, but they still barely escaped with a 114-110 home win. Stan Van Gundy has suggested that Tolliver might start in certain matchups vs. teams with big PFs -- we don't expect any changes vs. Harrison Barnes and the Mavs on Wednesday, but Tolliver could get the nod vs. Kristaps Porzingis and the Knicks on Friday. Either way, he's just a deep-league option if you're desperate for triples.

Anthony Tolliver donned a mask and played 15 minutes with a broken nose on Thursday, finishing with six points, two rebounds and two 3-pointers in a win over the Hawks.

Tolliver broke his nose on Tuesday, but didn't miss a game. As long as he's not starting for the Pistons, he shouldn't be owned in most fantasy leagues. Reggie Bullock is starting right now, but had just 10 points, two 3-pointers and not much else tonight.
Thu, Dec 14, 2017 10:36:00 PM

Anthony Tolliver (broken nose) was fitted with a mask and practiced on Wednesday.

He should be good to go for Thursday's game in Atlanta, but he's not a fantasy option.
Wed, Dec 13, 2017 01:22:00 PM

Anthony Tolliver suffered a broken nose on Tuesday vs. Denver, finishing with three points, two assists, one steal and one triple in 14 minutes.

He'll now be fitted for a face mask, but he may not have to miss any time. If he does, Henry Ellenson is the obvious candidate to fill in for him with Jon Leuer (ankle) still out. Unless you're desperate for 3-pointers, Tolliver shouldn't be owned anyways.
