Chris Douglas-Robers is participating at the Pistons mini camp.
Douglas-Roberts tried to rebuild his stock in the D-League last season and is hoping his hard work pays off in the form of a roster spot with the Pistons. "From what I hear from Adam and Bob, they need some wings who can play in the pick and roll, aggressive to score, and the second half of the season in Charlotte two years ago, that’s what I did for them," CDR said. "We were very successful like that. I’m going to just do me and see what happens." While Douglass-Roberts has a chance to hook on with the Pistons, he won't provide much fantasy value if he is able to land a roster spot. Jun 9 - 1:18 PM

Chris Douglas-Roberts is expected to rejoin the D-League, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

CDR was waived by the Pelicans just before the season began, and we haven't heard much from him since. In the D-League, he'll try to rebuild his stock in order to get a training camp invite for the 2016-17 campaign.

The Pelicans have waived Chris Douglas-Roberts.

The veteran swingman probably could have helped out the Pelicans due to how many injuries they are dealing with, so it's a little surprising to see him get waived.

Chris Douglas-Roberts said daily meditation helps him deal with the stress of playing in the NBA.

While Douglas-Roberts isn't guaranteed to make the Pelicans final roster, the veteran swingman said meditation has helped him push any worries aside. ''I've seen everything you can see in this league,'' Douglas-Roberts said. ''I don't feel any NBA pressure like I used to feel. But I'm different now. I go back to the hotel meditate and read. You know Zen Master stuff." Even if CDR hooks on with the Pelicans, he won't see enough minutes to warrant a spot in standard fantasy leagues.

Chris Douglas-Roberts will join the Pelicans on a two-year deal.

Douglas-Roberts played just 12 games with the Clippers last year after showing he had a little left in the tank in 2013-14. The Pelicans are fairly thin on the wing with Quincy Pondexter (knee) not 100 percent yet, but CDR can be ignored in all leagues.

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Pelicans are interested in bringing Chris Douglas-Roberts to training camp.

The Pelicans are pretty thin on the wings behind Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans, so it makes some sense to go after a veteran such as CDR. The 28-year-old has career averages of 7.1 points, 2.1 boards and 1.1 assists, but he would likely just provide some emergency depth off the bench if the Pelicans do end up signing him.

Chris Douglas-Roberts has been waived by the Celtics.

He was never part of the Celtics' future plans, and he doesn't have enough value to be considered as an asset in a future trade. He'll likely be able to sign on to be a reserve on another team, but he's unlikely to offer any fantasy value in most leagues.

Chris Douglas-Roberts has been sent to Boston as part of Thursday's three-team deal.

CDR wasn't worth owning as a member of the Clippers, and he won't be worth owning as a member of the Celtics. He was included in the deal to make the salaries work with the Clippers getting Austin Rivers, but the Celtics will likely waive him or use him in another trade, as he just doesn't make sense on a rebuilding team.

Chris Douglas-Roberts will reportedly be sent to Boston as part of the three-team trade involving Austin Rivers.
