Joey Dorsey (ankle) was back practicing on Saturday with the Rockets.
He is finally starting to get over the ankle injury that has forced him out of a couple of exhibition games. While Dorsey will provide Dwight Howard some much needed relief minutes, he won't see enough run to be considered in almost all formats. Oct 11 - 5:58 PM

Joey Dorsey (foot) will miss Thursday's game exhibition game against Memphis, but is on schedule to be ready for Saturday's practice.

Dorsey has been dealing with a left foot injury, but it doesn't sound like anything serious as he's nearing a return to the court this weekend. The 30-year-old won't see huge minutes backing up Dwight Howard after spending the last three seasons overseas, so fantasy owners can feel free to look elsewhere on draft day.

Joey Dorsey will sit out Tuesday's game with a left foot injury.

Details of the injury have not been specified, but hopefully this is just a precautionary DNP for the three-year veteran. He averaged 3.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks in 12 minutes per game with Toronto in 2010-11, but he's been playing in Europe ever since.

Houston Rockets sign F/C Joey Dorsey.

Dorsey's agreed to a two-year, $2 million deal with the Rockets on Tuesday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. The 30-year-old was a second-round pick in the 2008 NBA Draft and last played an FC Barcelona that went to the Euroleague Final Four. Dorsey will see some minutes backing up Dwight Howard, but he shouldn't be on any fantasy radars right now.

Joey Dorsey, who re-signed with Olympiacos in August, will part ways with the team.

Dorsey reportedly has an offer from an NBA team, and it sounds like he wants to pursue that opportunity. The big man was a second-round pick in 2008 and could be a useful energy big in the league on the right roster.

Former Raptors big man Joey Dorsey has re-signed with Olympiacos in Greece.

Dorsey bounced around a few NBA teams after being drafted in the second round in 2008, and he seems to be carving out a productive career in Europe. In 17 games in the Greek league last year, he averaged 6.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 0.6 blocks in just 17 minutes per game. No word on whether his Greek deal has an out clause, but he doesn't seem to be drawing much interest in the NBA.

Joey Dorsey has signed a one-year contract with Caja Laboral in Spain.

Dorsey was not extended a qualifying offer by Toronto which made him an unrestricted free agent. His deal in Spain will not include an out clause to return to the NBA this season.

The Raptors will not extend a qualifying offer to Joey Dorsey, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Dorsey has already played for the Rockets, Kings and Raptors since being drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft. He's a rugged body but doesn't have the skill set to be a rotation player.

Joey Dorsey made a last-minute start for Reggie Evans, who was a late scratch with a finger injury Monday, and went off for 10 points, a career-high 20 rebounds (10 offensive), a steal and a block in the loss to the Bucks.

He hit just 3-of-14 shots, but if you happened to grab him late and play him, this was a fun night. Evans is iffy for Wednesday, making Dorsey worth another look in that one for the banged up Raptors.

Joey Dorsey sat out Thursday's practice due to flu-like symptoms.

Dorsey has appeared in just three of the Raptors' last 14 games.

Joey Dorsey returned from a back injury and had six points and five rebounds in 12 minutes Wednesday.

He has no fantasy value under normal circumstances, and while the loss of Amir Johnson to an ankle injury helps his cause, it was probably negated by the return of Reggie Evans tonight, who had 11 rebounds in the loss.

Joey Dorsey (back) and Reggie Evans (foot) have both been declared out for Tuesday night's game.

Dorsey shouldn't stand to make much of an impact even if he did play. Evans is inching closer to a return.

Joey Dorsey (back) missed his second straight game on Friday due to back spasms.

He has no real value in fantasy leagues and hasn't been a threat to the playing time of Amir Johnson and Ed Davis, at least lately.

Joey Dorsey (knee) returned to action on Saturday, playing three minutes with just one rebound to his credit.

He has been available for action all week and has probably lost his rotation spot. Things could change, but there's no real use for Dorsey in fantasy leagues at this time.

Joey Dorsey (knee) did not play on Monday against the Grizzlies.

He was potentially going to be available, but it wasn't in the cards at the end of the night. When he returns, he will conceivably cut into the value of starter Amir Johnson and rookie Ed Davis, but nobody really knows what Jay Triano will decide to do.
