Tyler Hansbrough was a non-factor during Tuesday's lopsided defeat, going scoreless with one personal foul and no other stats to his credit in 12 minutes of action.
Amir Johnson had 10 points and five rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench, and the Raptors' obvious need for a shake-up could move Johnson back into the starting lineup on Friday. Hansbrough isn't a viable fantasy option regardless of where he starts Game 3. Apr 21 - 11:00 PM

Tyler Hansbrough started on Saturday against the Wizards and played just 13 minutes, scoring four points with one block.

He didn't grab any rebounds and didn't play in the final 26 minutes of this game. It's safe to assume Hansbrough won't be starting on on Tuesday for Game 2.
Apr 18 - 3:44 PM

Tyler Hansbrough will continue to start over Amir Johnson against the Wizards on Saturday.

Johnson recently returned from an ankle injury and has come off the bench for the last two games, but it is a little surprising to see head coach Dwane Casey go with Psycho T again. Johnson should still see minutes in the mid-20s, but owners in daily leagues should probably avoid both players for now. Hansbrough started the last six games of the regular season, so the Raptors are probably just looking for some continuity.
Apr 18 - 12:12 PM

Tyler Hansbrough started Tuesday's game in place of Amir Johnson but finished scoreless with six rebounds and two blocks in 23 minutes of action.

The Raptors have the Atlantic Division wrapped up but tonight's loss dropped them a full game behind the idle Bulls for the No. 3 seed. Hansbrough is likely to slide back to a reserve role on Wednesday and tonight's dud should be enough incentive to avoid him in all fantasy formats.
Apr 14 - 10:32 PM

Tyler Hansbrough scored just two points against the Heat on Saturday with 10 rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes.

He had a bloody nose tonight and he had a little trouble with Hassan Whiteside. Amir Johnson would have played in a playoff game and he's been going through shootaround, so he has a very good chance to play on Tuesday. Even if Amir is out, it's hard to keep Hansbrough on your roster with two whole days off in daily season-long leagues.
Apr 11 - 10:49 PM

Tyler Hansbrough scored 16 points with seven rebounds, one assist, two steals and no turnovers in 36 minutes against the Magic on Friday.

Amir Johnson (ankle) went through shootaround today and is expected to play on Saturday. Hansbrough averaged 15.0 points and 10.0 boards in his previous two games, but he will likely take a backseat on Saturday. If you've enjoyed his last three, you can probably make a proactive cut here.
Apr 10 - 10:11 PM

Tyler Hansbrough played a team-high 37 minutes against the Hornets on Wednesday with 12 points, 12 boards, and two blocks.

Jonas Valanciunas was in foul trouble, so Hansbrough was the main big man tonight. He's playing some of the best ball in his Raptor days with an 18-point, eight-board game coming on Saturday. Amir Johnson will likely miss more time, so give Psycho T a look as long as you're not expecting a line this good.
Apr 8 - 10:07 PM

Tyler Hansbrough matched a season-high 18 points against the Celtics on Saturday with eight rebounds, two steals and one block.

He made all five shots from the field and all eight from the line. Hansbrough is shooting the ball a lot better nowadays, making 60.5 percent from the field in his previous 21 games since the break. Amir Johnson (ankle) is likely going to miss time, but Psycho T won't be this good. He's only worth a look in deep leagues.
Apr 5 - 12:07 AM

Tyler Hansbrough will start vs. the Celtics on Saturday in place of Amir Johnson (ankle).

In two previous starts this season Hansbrough averaged just 3.5 points and 5.0 boards, so he is still not a viable option in most leagues. James Johnson and Patrick Patterson should also get more run tonight, but owners in standard leagues will probably want to avoid this situation.
Apr 4 - 6:43 PM

Tyler Hansbrough came out of nowhere for 10 points and 11 rebounds in 29 minutes on Wednesday.

The guy had done nothing in his previous four games, racking up a total of just five points and five rebounds in them, so it's hard to get too excited about this one. Patrick Patterson missed all four of his shots, which likely had something to do with Zeller's mini-explosion.
Apr 2 - 12:41 AM

Tyler Hansbrough, who scored a season-high 18 points on Sunday, finished Tuesday's game with only four points and two boards in eight minutes off the bench.

There was never any expectation that he'd follow up Sunday's game with another efficient gem, and he's a non-factor in fantasy leagues while averaging 12-15 minutes with the second unit.
Mar 24 - 10:39 PM

Tyler Hansbrough blew past his previous season-high with 18 points in 18 minutes on Sunday, making 7-of-8 FGs and 4-of-5 FTs with five rebounds.

The Raptors' hard-nosed forward obviously isn't a reliable scorer, and he's been off the fantasy radar all season with Amir Johnson, Patrick Patterson and Jonas Valanciunas dominating the frontcourt rotation. File this performance under 'random' and move along.
Mar 22 - 6:51 PM

Tyler Hansbrough will slide into the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Heat with Jonas Valanciunas (personal) unavailable.

In Hansbrough's previous start this season, he only managed to put up four points, five rebounds, and a block, so he's not a great option tonight despite the starters tag. Patrick Patterson and Amir Johnson will likely log extended minutes tonight, and Patterson figures to be the primary beneficiary with Jonas at home tending to the newest addition to his family, Jonas Jr.

Tyler Hansbrough and Festus Ezeli were ejected for an alteration on Friday.

Hansbrough's nickname isn't Mild-Mannered T. He can be left on the wire in almost all leagues.
Feb 27 - 9:26 PM

Tyler Hansbrough was terrific off the bench on Sunday, finishing with 10 points, six boards and one block in 20 minutes.

He gave the Raptors a huge lift off the bench with Jonas Valanciunas struggling, and ended up playing down the stretch in a thrilling win over the Nuggets. However, Hansbrough has a very limited role this season and this was his first solid game in a while, so owners should consider this a fluke and look elsewhere for production.
