Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play Wednesday vs. Minnesota.
Arthur has been dealing with an assortment of ailments all season. He's appeared in just 29 of the Nuggets 55 games. With Kenneth Faried (ankle) and Danilo Gallinari (groin) also ruled out, rookie Juancho Hernangomez and Will Barton will see plenty of playing time again on Wednesday. Feb 14 - 5:06 PM

Darrell Arthur (left knee soreness) will not play on Monday vs. the Warriors.

The guy just can't seem to stay healthy. With Wilson Chandler considered questionable with an illness and Kenneth Faried (ankle) and Danilo Gallinari (groin) already ruled out, it looks like we're going to see a lot of rookie Juancho Hernangomez tonight.

Darrell Arthur (left knee soreness) is questionable to play vs. the Warriors on Monday.

Arthur has bounced in and out of the lineup all season due to knee issues, and the Nuggets have vowed to closely monitor his playing time all year, so this isn't a big surprise. Kenneth Faried (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday, so if Arthur can't suit up, and Mason Plumlee isn't yet available to play, the Nuggets' frontcourt could be extremely short-handed.
Feb 12 - 6:56 PM

Darrell Arthur scored three points with three rebounds, one assist, one block and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday.

It's just the fifth game he's played on a back-to-back set this season, averaging just 17.3 minutes per game in his previous four. Arthur is just holding down the fort until Kenneth Faried (ankle) gets back, so leave him on the wire.
Feb 11 - 9:56 PM

Darrell Arthur will get another start against the Cavs on Saturday.

The Nuggets will play their oft-injured guy on both ends of a back-to-back set. His minutes could still be managed, so he's a very risky play in DFS today.
Feb 11 - 6:55 PM

Darrell Arthur will start against the Knicks on Friday.

The Nuggets play again on Saturday vs. the Cavaliers, so Arthur could be rested for that one. Kenneth Faried (ankle) is still out and doesn't have a clear timetable, but Arthur is tough to rely on outside of deeper leagues.
Feb 10 - 7:05 PM

Darrell Arthur came off the bench on Wednesday with 10 points, two 3-pointers, four rebounds, one assist and one block in 21 minutes.

Arthur got a rest day this weekend and deep-league owners should watch his status with two back-to-back sets looming on Feb. 10/11 and 23/34. That said, the Nuggets may not have the luxury of resting him if Kenneth Faried (sprained ankle) misses substantial time.
Feb 9 - 12:00 AM

Darrell Arthur returned from a day of rest on Monday vs. the Mavericks and played 22 minutes, scoring seven points on 3-of-8 shooting.

This was his largest workload in nearly a month, as Kenneth Faried was out for personal reasons. It's not clear if Faried will miss more time, but Arthur will only be a low-end streaming option in deeper leagues anyways. He blocked three shots and added three boards, two assists, one 3-pointer and one steal.
Feb 7 - 12:13 AM

Darrell Arthur (rest) will not play Saturday vs. the Spurs.

The Nuggets have stated repeatedly that they intend to limit Arthur's minutes and rest him occasionally due to knee issues he has been battling all season. Prior to Saturday, Arthur had played in eight straight games and was averaging 17.3 minutes per contest. Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler should see an uptick in minutes with Arthur sidelined.
Feb 4 - 12:10 PM

Darrell Arthur played 15 minutes with eight points, two rebounds and two 3-pointers against the Suns on Thursday.

The Nuggets will be careful with Arthur's knee issues, but he could wind up getting some minutes if Nikola Jokic (hip) needs to miss game. It'll be a mystery most nights on when Arthur gets rest, but there's a chance he starts to push Kenneth Faried to the five in some matchups.
Jan 27 - 1:13 AM

Darrell Arthur played 22 minutes off the bench and hit 5-of-7 shots, 3-of-3 3-pointers and 3-of-3 free throws for a season-high 16 points, a season-high eight rebounds and a steal in Tuesday's win over the Jazz.

Arthur had his best game of the season tonight and the Jazz were out of sorts after losing on Monday against the Thunder. Arthur has missed several games with a sore knee, but has scored in double figures in both of his games since returning from his injury. With so many bigs fighting for space in Denver, Arthur would have to do this several more times before being worth a pickup. But he is worth keeping an eye on going forward, as Kenneth Faried's minutes have been all over the place, Wilson Chandler has been hit-or-miss, and Will Barton relegated to the bench with the return of Gary Harris.
Jan 25 - 12:46 AM

Darrell Arthur (knee) will play Tuesday against the Jazz.

This is simply confirmation, as he was expected to play all along. Arthur returned to lineup on Sunday and played well, finishing with 10 points, four assists, three rebounds, three blocks, one steal and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes. Coach Mike Malone has said he will limit his Arthur's minutes for the "the rest of the year," so he probably won't exceed 25 minutes anytime soon, which obviously limits his fantasy value.
Jan 24 - 7:51 PM

Darrell Arthur (knee) is probable to play Tuesday against the Jazz.

He'll see his playing time in the 15-20 minute range, which isn't enough minutes for him to make a difference in most settings. Leave him on the wire.
Jan 23 - 5:27 PM

Darrell Arthur (leg) returned to action on Sunday with 10 points, four assists, three rebounds, three blocks, one steal and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes off the bench.

Arthur has been in and out of the lineup for weeks due to injury, and he'll be limited in practices and games for the duration of the season. Even a trade clearing more minutes in the frontcourt might not help him, and he belongs on the waiver wire in most formats despite tonight's all-around performance.
Jan 22 - 9:48 PM

Darrell Arthur (leg) is available to play vs. the Wolves on Sunday.

Mike Malone said recently that he'll be watching Arthur's minutes "the rest of the year," and will even limit him in practices. He's unlikely to earn more than a handful of minutes tonight, in other words, and is an extremely dubious fantasy option.
