Darrell Arthur (calf) will not play on Sunday vs. the Pelicans.
This will be his second straight game on the sidelines and we will consider him day-to-day moving forward. Arthur has averages of just 7.3 points, 3.2 boards and 1.0 assist in 17.7 minutes per game this season, so his absence won't have many fantasy implications. Expect Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler to benefit the most on Sunday night. Mar 1 - 7:20 PM

Darrell Arthur (calf) has been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Pelicans.

If Arthur is unable to go on Sunday, his minutes will be split up between Kenneth Faried, Wilson Chandler, and J.J. Hickson, but there are no clear winners here with Brian Shaw at the helm.

Darrell Arthur (calf) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Sunday.

He is dealing with an upper muscle strain which seems like it's just behind the knee. Arthur tends to miss a lot of games due to injury, so he could miss more time. If he's out, the Nuggets will run a lot more small-ball lineups. However, nobody will consistently benefit with how coach Brian Shaw is running his rotation.
Feb 28 - 4:01 PM

Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play against the Jazz on Friday.

The Nuggets do get Kenneth Faried back, so they're not too thin at power forward. However, they're still very thin at center and will likely lean on Joffrey Lauvergne the most in their frontcourt. J.J. Hickson may also play more, but he has sort of fallen out of favor with his coach recently.
Feb 27 - 6:45 PM

Darrell Arthur (calf strain) is being listed as doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.

Arthur only lasted three minutes during his last outing, and with season averages of 7.3 points and 3.2 rebounds on 40.8 percent shooting from the field, it's safe to leave Arthur on the wire in most leagues. With both Arthur and Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) unavailable for Friday, J.J. Hickson and Kenneth Faried are going to see heavy minutes.

Darrell Arthur (right knee) will not return on Wednesday night.

The team is calling it a strain, which usually suggests it's a muscle issue. If Arthur is out, the Nuggets will be very shorthanded. Joffrey Lauvergne and J.J. Hickson may have to play more. He finished with one point and no other stats in three minutes.
Feb 25 - 9:27 PM

Darrell Arthur scored 10 points in a start at power forward on Monday with seven rebounds on 5-of-15 from the field.

He played more than expected because Kenneth Faried (hand) missed some time tonight. Arthur does have a decent ceiling because he takes shots and is solid with defensive stats. In fact, he averaged 7.4 points, 3.0 boards 1.1 blocks and 1.0 steals in his previous seven games this month. He's only worth a look in 14-team leagues.
Feb 24 - 12:05 AM

Darrell Arthur will start at power forward with Kenneth Faried coming off the bench against the Nets.

Wow. Faried has not been playing well, but this is a bold move for even Brian Shaw. Arthur probably won't play more than 24 minutes tonight even with Wilson Chandler out, so he's only worth a look in deeper leagues. Plus, he tends to get hurt a lot.
Feb 23 - 8:11 PM

Darrell Arthur played down the stretch against the Celtics on Wednesday, making 1-of-7 from the field for two points with six rebounds, two steals and one block in 19 minutes.

Coach Brian Shaw played Arthur over Jusuf Nurkic late in the game in one of the biggest head-scratching moves of the night. Arthur was also the second man off the bench tonight. There is some incentive to owning him in deep leagues because a number of players could be traded away.
Feb 4 - 10:56 PM

Darrell Arthur is playing on Wednesday night against the Celtics.

He was the second big man off the bench and things must have went well in warmups. Arthur is not worth owning in most leagues.
Feb 4 - 8:02 PM

Darrell Arthur (illness) was not able to go through all of shootaround, and his level of participation for Tuesday's game against the Celtics will be determined by his conditioning.

Arthur is battling an illness, and it seems like there's a chance he doesn't leave the bench tonight. Arthur is averaging just 7.3 points and 3.2 rebounds on the season, so he's not going to be a viable option in most leagues tonight.
Feb 3 - 6:40 PM

Darrell Arthur (illness) is expected to play against the Celtics on Tuesday.

Arthur participated in shooatround Tuesday after missing Saturday's game with an illness. While Arthur's return will serve as a boost to the Nuggets' frontcourt, he's only averaging 17.8 minutes per game this month and only belongs on deeper league fantasy rosters.
Feb 3 - 10:49 AM

Darrell Arthur (illness) will not play against the Hornets on Saturday.

The Nuggets really only have one power forward left, J.J. Hickson. Arthur has been a decent per-minute guy, but he's not getting enough minutes to be worth owning in most leagues.
Jan 31 - 6:03 PM

Darrell Arthur started for injured Wilson Chandler on Friday, scoring 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting with two rebounds, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes.

Arthur is a pretty darn poor man's Draymond Green and he'll be worth a look if Chandler misses extended time. Beyond that owners should remain skeptical of his long-term value.
Jan 10 - 3:05 AM

Darrell Arthur will start at small forward against the Kings on Friday.

He's played some small forward before and he'll have to guard Rudy Gay tonight. With Arthur getting more run at small forward, that should open up even more minutes for J.J. Hickson and Kenneth Faried tonight. Additionally, the Nuggets absolutely need to stay out of foul trouble tonight or things could get ugly.
