Jerryd Bayless played 29 minutes against the Kings on Thursday with 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and three 3-pointers.
O.J. Mayo battled some foul trouble, so Bayless picked up some of the slack. He's going to get minutes in the mid-20s while the Bucks try to figure out how to fill their minutes at the forward spots, so he might have some low-end value in standard leagues for the next couple weeks. Jerryd Bayless scored 10 points with two rebounds, three assists and two turnovers in 22 minutes on Wednesday.

He played his first two seasons in Portland, but didn't get his revenge. Bayless is likely to see a slight increase in playing time, but he's not taking many threes and is posting a low usage, so it's hard to be too excited about grabbing him in most leagues.
Dec 18 - 2:14 AM

Jerryd Bayless had a nice game in his hometown vs. the Suns on Monday, scoring 11 points with four rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in a 96-94 win.

He's played in at least 20 minutes with at least nine points in each of his last five, averaging 10.8 points, 3.4 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 triples. He should get a few minutes of extra playing time as the Bucks shift their wings up to the three and four spots. He's worth a look in deep leagues.
Dec 16 - 1:59 AM

Bucks guard Jerryd Bayless played one of his most complete games of the season on Tuesday, scoring 11 points with six assists and two steals in just 20 minutes of action.

He's had a few solid games this year, including last Friday's 12-point, five-assist, two-steal performance, but his limited 3-point range and sporadic production spoil any fantasy value. Jared Dudley chipped in eight points on Tuesday while reserves Khris Middleton and Zaza Pachulia each scored seven, and the Bucks continue to have one of the league's most productive benches.
Dec 9 - 11:36 PM

Jerryd Bayless will move back to the bench on Saturday.

He didnt' score in his nine minutes of action on Friday, which serves as your daily reminder that a starting role doesn't necessarily mean a significant role. Baylies has no fantasy value.
Nov 22 - 6:58 PM

Jerryd Bayless will start on Friday night alongside Brandon Knight, Khris Middleton, Jabari Parker, and Larry Sanders.

This will be Bayless' first night as a starter for the Bucks, but he hasn't been doing much lately, scoring four, nine, and two points in his last three outings. He'll have some increased opportunity tonight with Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined, but on such a busy night, owners in standard leagues can probably do better than Bayless.

Jerryd Bayless scored 20 points off the bench in Saturday's 108-97 loss to the Wizards to go with three rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes.

He's the backup point guard behind Brandon Knight and does get some run at shooting guard on occasion. Bayless is still going to have a tough time posting value in most leagues with minutes in the low 20s or teens.
Nov 2 - 1:10 AM

Jerryd Bayless will be the Bucks' backup point guard according to Jason Kidd, but Kendall Marshall will be their "left-handed reliever."

We can go in on him for having specialists that he's going to swap in and swap out, but in a way this is a good thing in the sense that he at least has roles in mind in the first place. That would make Brandon Knight the clear starter, which should have already been the case after his huge Opening Night.
Oct 31 - 7:44 PM

Jerryd Bayless said he can play point guard or shooting guard for the Bucks this season.

"I can do both and I feel I can do both well," Bayless said. "Just depending on whatever coach Kidd envisions for this program, that's what I'm going to try to do." The backcourt rotation in Milwaukee is one of the more unsolved mysteries of the NBA right now. They added Kendall Marshall and Bayless while Brandon Knight may be a more capable shooting guard than a point guard. It does seem somewhat clear that Bayless is going to come off the bench and one would think the bulk of his minutes would come at shooting guard.
Aug 2 - 10:35 AM

Milwaukee Bucks sign G Jerryd Bayless.

The deal is $3 million for two years, fully guaranteed. "This is a new opportunity and a new situation. I'm excited to be a part of this community," Bayless said during a media session. He averaged 9.1 points over 72 games with the Grizzlies and Celtics last season, but will be hard-pressed to find enough minutes to contribute in standard fantasy leagues.
Jul 31 - 11:59 AM

The Bucks are close to signing veteran guard Jerryd Bayless, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

Bayless spent last season with both the Grizzlies and Celtics, averaging 9.1 points over 72 games. He would likely go to Milwaukee as the primary back up to point guard Brandon Knight, providing some offense off the bench. This move also indicates that free agent Ramon Sessions will not be returning to Milwaukee next season. Bayless' ability to contribute to multiple categories is limited and he should not be on fantasy radars heading into next season.
Jul 16 - 9:11 AM

Jerryd Bayless (knee) will not play against the Wizards on Wednesday.

There is nothing structurally wrong with Bayless' knee, but this injury has cost him the final three games of the season. He'll head into the summer as a free agent and will likely have less value than he did this season. Expect Phil Pressey and Avery Bradley to carry the load in the backcourt.
Apr 16 - 5:42 PM

Jerryd Bayless (knee) is unlikely to play against the Wizards on Wednesday, according to coach Brad Stevens.

He was ruled out for Monday's game very early and his knee injury from Friday has already cost him one game. Bayless was brought on the team more for his contract, but he played fairly well in his 41 games with the Celtics. Avery Bradley and Phil Pressey will get some extra run.
Apr 14 - 5:50 PM

Jerryd Bayless (knee) didn't travel with the Celtics for Monday's game in Philly.

Bayless was recently scheduled to have an MRI but the test results haven't been announced, and for now we're considering him questionable to return on Wednesday. Avery Bradley will continue to dominate minutes at SG in his absence.
Apr 14 - 11:23 AM

Jerryd Bayless will have an MRI on his right knee and won't travel with the team for Saturday's game vs. the Cavs.

If the MRI goes well, he could join the team in time for the game. Of course, things don't sound very encouraging at this point and we would consider Bayless doubtful. If he's out, the Celtics might be looking to get huge minutes out of Avery Bradley and Phil Pressey. Rajon Rondo missed Friday due to a shin injury and is questionable.
