Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) will not play vs. the Heat on Wednesday.
He has missed three of the past four games, so the writing was on the wall for this one. Jerami Grant, Robert Covington and Thomas Robinson should be the primary beneficiaries following this news. Apr 15 - 11:24 AM

Date:

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) will not play on Monday vs. the Bucks.

Nerlens Noel (ankle) will also not be available, meaning Thomas Robinson and Jerami Grant could be in line for extended minutes. Mbah a Moute has been bothered by his shoulder for a while now, so it's possible that he could miss the regular-season finale against the Heat on Wednesday as well.
Apr 12 - 12:42 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute will not play against the Bulls on Saturday.

The 76ers are not going to have Nerlens Noel (ankle) for that game either. Basically, if there was a time to unleash Thomas Robinson, this would be it. Although, coach Brett Brown has said he likes the role T-Rob is in right now. Expect Jerami Grant, Henry Sims and Furkan Aldemir to play more.
Apr 10 - 7:06 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) will not play vs. New York on Sunday.

He dealt with a shoulder injury in late March and may have aggravated it during Saturday's game, when he started the second half in place of Nerlens Noel (eye). Mbah a Moute's absence opens up more playing time for Hollis Thompson, JaKarr Sampson, Jerami Grant and Robert Covington, but there are no clear-cut fantasy winners.
Apr 5 - 6:16 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute played 31 minutes off the bench against the Hornets on Saturday with eight points, five boards, one block and one 3-pointer on 1-of-7 from the field.

He started the second half because Nerlens Noel (eye) couldn't play after a laceration to his lower eyelid. Mbah a Moute doesn't play in most back-to-back sets, but the 76ers might need him. Basically, if Noel is out, L-MAM may play. If Noel is in, we'd expect Luc to sit.
Apr 4 - 9:50 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute will not play against the Lakers on Monday.

There's no word as to why just yet, but he missed Wednesday's game due to a shoulder issue. The 76ers will give most of their forward minutes to Nerlens Noel, Robert Covington, JaKarr Sampson, Thomas Robinson and Hollis Thompson.
Mar 30 - 6:34 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute played 22 minutes off the bench against the Clippers on Friday with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, one block and three 3-pointers.

There were no clear reports of him playing tonight and L-MAM coming off the bench is unusual these days. He will likely get the Jason Richardson treatment and rest in some games to allow the younger guys to play more. When he's active, he's worth starting in standard leagues.
Mar 27 - 11:00 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) will not play against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

It'll be Jerami Grant in the starting lineup in what should be an up-tempo game. There should also be more minutes available for Robert Covington and Thomas Robinson -- both looked very good on Tuesday. Mbah a Moute can be cut in most formats.
Mar 25 - 7:42 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute logged 29 minutes on Sunday, scoring 13 points with two 3-pointers, two boards, two assists and two steals.

He's had fantasy-worthy moments this season but March hasn't been kind to him, as he's limping along with averages of 10.6 points on 36.6 percent FGs and 52.0 percent FTs, 1.1 threes, 5.2 boards, 2.8 assists and 0.9 steals. The awful percentages eradicate his value in nearly all fantasy formats.
Mar 23 - 12:44 AM

Luc Mbah a Moute returned from a one-game absence on Monday with 10 points, one rebound, three assists and one 3-pointer.

The 76ers want to play their young guys more, so we're probably not going to see Mbah a Moute get more than 30 minutes too often. He will also likely be rested on back-to-back games on occasion, as well. If you own him based on what he's been doing, you might want to lower your expectations a bit.
Mar 16 - 10:10 PM

Luch Mbah a Moute (rest) will not play against the Nets on Saturday.

He's played 32.6 minutes per game in his last five, so there are going to be a lot of minutes available. Jason Richardson is back tonight, so that will account for most of them. Plus, Jerami Grant is starting and will soak up a few more minutes as well. Mbah a Moute could be rested more, so he's a questionable player to own in standard leagues.
Mar 14 - 6:03 PM

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute scored 10 points on 5-of-11 shooting (no threes) with five rebounds, four assists and one steal in Friday's win over the Kings.

Mbah a Moute has not produced within the top-200 players for a month now and should not be owned in any 14-team standard leagues.
Mar 13 - 10:59 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute scored 19 points during a 92-89 win over the Hawks on Saturday with three rebounds, one assist, one steal and three 3-pointers.

He was 8-of-16 from the field and was great on the offensive side of the ball. Mbah a Moute is on a roll over his last four, averaging 15.3 points, 6.0 boards, 2.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.8 treys. Chances are nobody in your league is going to say "I can't believe you beat me to grab L-MAM," but he's worth a long look in standard leagues with how he's playing.
Mar 7 - 10:46 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute made 6-of-21 from the field for 18 points with 14 rebounds, five assists and one turnover in 40 minutes against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Apparently Russell Westbrook rubbed off on him. He set a career high in field goal attempts tonight and more than doubled his season average of 9.8. He won't play this much when Robert Covington (elbow) returns, but he's still worth a look in standard leagues while he's healthy.
Mar 5 - 1:12 AM

Luc Mbah a Moute scored four points on 2-of-7 shooting during 23 minutes of action on Sunday, as the Sixers lost by 20 points in Indiana.

He added three rebounds and turned the ball over four times in a thoroughly disappointing performance, especially after his stat-stuffing game on Friday. With erratic production and consistently poor FG and FT percentages, there isn't much incentive to own Mbah a Moute outside of deep leagues.
