Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) returned from a two-game stint on the sidelines on Sunday, and moved back into the starting lineup tallying six points, one board, one steal and one turnover in 17 minutes.
With Mbah a Moute back in action, Austin Rivers returned to the bench where he put up 13 points, two assists, two steals, one 3-pointer and one turnover in 25 minutes. Neither of these guys are worth a roster spot in most formats. Sun, Dec 18, 2016 06:27:00 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) will play Sunday vs. the Wizards.

He'll be returning from a two-game stint on the sidelines, and head coach Doc Rivers confirmed that he would start, meaning that Austin Rivers will be moving back to the bench. Mbah a Moute has played some solid defense this season, but he's not a viable fantasy target in any settings, nor is Rivers.

Luc Mbah a Moute (bruised right shoulder) has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Wizards.

The Clippers previously ruled him out, so this is a surprise. If LMAM is able to play, his return will take a handful of minutes away from Austin Rivers and likely push him back to the bench. LMAM is averaging 6.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game this season.

Luc Mbah a Moute (bruised right shoulder) will not play Sunday vs. the Wizards.

This will be the third straight game Mbah a Moute has missed due to the shoulder ailment. The Clippers have used a three-guard starting lineup of Chris Paul, J.J. Redick and Austin Rivers in each of the previous two games Mbah a Moute has missed.

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) will not play Friday vs. Miami

Not a surprise, as Mbah a Moute had been doubtful to play. This will be his second straight missed game. The Clippers will start three guards (Chris Paul, J.J. Redick and Austin Rivers) again on Friday. Rivers had a monster game (25 points, seven 3-pointers, four boards) starting in place of Mbah a Moute on Wednesday, but is unlikely to match those numbers two games in a row.

Coach Doc Rivers told reporters that it is unlikely that Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) will play on Friday vs. Orlando.

Mbah a Moute sat out practice Thursday with his right shoulder wrapped in ice. He was injured in Monday’s game against Portland. If Mbah a Moute doesn't play, the Clippers are expected to stick with their three-guard starting lineup of Chris Paul, J.J. Redick and Austin Rivers

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) did not practice on Thursday.

He was listed as out in the game notes, but coach Doc Rivers didn't rule him out for Friday. If he can't go, Austin Rivers will likely get another start. Rivers could be worth a look as a stream or in DFS, but don't expect another 25-point game like Wednesday.

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) is listed as out against the Heat on Friday.

The Clippers were able to win on Wednesday in Orlando, but they really missed Mbah a Moute on defense. Austin Rivers got the start against a bigger Aaron Gordon and also went off for 26 points. That suggests Rivers should get another start, but obviously matching that 25-point effort will be a tall order.

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) will not play Wednesday against the Magic.

Well, so much for the probable tag from 30 minutes ago. With Mbah a Moute out, coach Doc Rivers should be dusting off Wes Johnson for some added minutes, especially against a bigger Magic team. Johnson won't be a fantasy option in most cases and Mbah a Moute's tiny usage rate leaves very little added opportunity for others in the offense.

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday against the Magic.

He was listed as doubtful earlier today due to an AC sprain in his shoulder, so this is a big upgrade. Mbah a Moute has emerged as one of the best defenders in the NBA and is important on the reality side of things. However, his fantasy value is fairly insignificant with his 11.3 usage rate. We'll have another update on his status shortly.

Luc Mbah a Moute (Right AC sprain) is doubtful for Wednesday's game vs. the Magic.

LMAM is averaging 23.0 minutes per game this season, and while he's not a great fantasy asset, his absence could have a big impact on the rotation. The Clippers have several options tonight and could go small with a guy like Austin Rivers (concussion), or coach Doc Rivers could turn to Wes Johnson or Alan Anderson. This is a situation for DFS owners to keep an eye, but standard-league owners can look the other way for now.

Luc Mbah a Moute matched his season-high with 15 points on Friday vs. the Pelicans, adding five rebounds with two steals, two blocks and three treys in 33 minutes.

Two LMAM blurbs in two days! He shot 5-of-9 from the field Friday and had five steals in his previous game, but you would have to be in a seriously deep league to consider adding him to your fantasy team. Leave him on the wire.
Fri, Dec 2, 2016 11:32:00 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute had six points, three rebounds and five steals in 30 minutes of another start for the Clippers on Thursday.

The five steals tied his career high, but he hasn't scored more than six points in his last five games. He belongs on your waiver wire.

Luc Mbah a Moute had his best scoring game as a Clipper on Saturday against the Wolves, scoring 15 points with one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

He picked up some extra minutes for Wes Johnson tonight and he was getting easy looks all night. Mbah a Moute is an advanced stats darling, ranking second in the NBA for defensive and net rating. On the other hand, his fantasy value is basically on the other end of the spectrum for starters.
Sun, Nov 13, 2016 01:15:00 AM

Luc Mbah a Moute scored seven points with six rebounds, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes against the Thunder on Friday.

He's currently the top player in the NBA for defensive rating. The problem for Mbah a Moute is he's not involved on the stat sheet. In fact, he's second to last among forwards with multiple starts in usage rate at just 9.7 (Kyle Anderson). Mbah a Moute has very little fantasy value.
