Luc Mbah a Moute had a really nice game vs. the Warriors on Tuesday with 14 points, four rebounds and two 3-pointers.
The Rockets used an 8-man rotation tonight, so that's a good sign for LMAM's minutes going forward. He's still not a good pickup and has very little upside as evidenced by his averages of 6.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.5 triples with the Clippers last season. Oct 18 - 1:59 AM

Luc Mbah a Moute has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Rockets.

Mbah a Moute will provide Houston with some emergency depth at the forward spots, but he won't be getting enough consistent minutes to make a difference in fantasy hoops. It's reportedly a one-year deal for the minimum, so Mbah a Moute will again be an unrestricted free agent in 2018.
Jul 16 - 5:44 PM

The Clippers are "still engaged" with free agent Luc Mbah a Moute, according to Adrian Wojnarowski‏ of ESPN.

The Clippers signed Danilo Gallinari this summer, but could still certainly use Mbah a Moute as depth off the bench. Mbah a Moute provided L.A. with solid defense while averaging 6.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 22.3 minutes per game last season. He can be ignored in standard fantasy leagues.
Jul 14 - 9:20 AM

The Raptors have discussed signing Luc Mbah a Moute, according to Michael Grange of Rogers Sportsnet.

With the free agent market drying up, Mbah a Moute is one of the more attractive forwards still available. His numbers don't jump off the page, but he's a solid, reliable veteran that would be a solid addition for a competitive team looking to add defense and depth.
Jul 13 - 9:32 AM

Luc Mbah a Moute has declined his player option for the 2017-18 season.

He's leaving $2.3 million on the table, but this was an expected move as the 30-year-old veteran looks to secure a long-term deal and take advantage of the rising salary cap. He averaged 6.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 22.3 minutes per game last season and is unlikely to hold fantasy value regardless of where he lands.
Jun 29 - 12:02 PM

It could be tough for the Clippers to keep J.J. Redick and Luc Mbah a Moute, according to Bobby Marks of The Vertical.

Basically, it'll be tough to bring those two back after the Clippers agreed to deals with Jamal Crawford, Austin Rivers and Wesley Johnson last summer. Mbah a Moute is fully expected to opt out of his 2017-18 player option to make him an unrestricted free agent at age 30. LMAM had a positive year as a defender and he should be a target for several teams.
May 27 - 1:12 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute is expected to opt out of his contract for the 2017-18 season.

He was slated to earn just $2.3 million next season, so it's an easy decison for LMAM as the 30-year-old veteran is looking to secure a long-term deal. Mbah a Moute is a good defender and locker room guy, but he's unlikely to make a fantasy impact anywhere he goes. In 22.3 minutes per game, he averaged 6.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals.
May 25 - 12:32 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute scored a playoff career-high 15 points in a Game 3 win over the Jazz on Friday, adding six rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

He may have to score more now that Blake Griffin is banged up. For what it's worth, Mbah a Moute only had a 1.7 usage rate bump when Griffin was off the court during the regular season. If you're going to use him for DFS, he'll need to make his money in non-scoring stats.
Apr 22 - 1:07 AM

Luc Mbah a Moute finished with 15 points, three assists, two rebounds and two steals over 24 minutes in Monday's 124-96 thrashing of the Rockets.

Mbah a Moute was sharp from the floor, misfiring on just two of his eight field-goal attempts while hitting each of his free throws. He has back-to-back double-digit point totals for the first time since Nov. 12-14 so don't get terribly excited about his fantasy prospects heading into the postseason.
Apr 11 - 1:26 AM

Luc Mbah a Moute had a solid game on Saturday vs. the Bulls, scoring 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting.

LMAM logged 30 minutes on the night, adding three rebounds, one assist and one steal. He's strictly a defender in Los Angeles and eats last on offense, so nights like these will be very rare. He's averaging 7.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals over his last five games, so fantasy owners can do a lot better.
Mar 4 - 11:08 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute was back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's road victory, finishing with two points, two rebounds and two steals in 26 minutes.

Mbah a Moute starts for his defense, plain and simple, and he hasn't been a reliable fantasy contributor at any point this season. No matter where he begins games, he belongs on the wire.
Feb 9 - 1:41 AM

Luc Mbah a Moute will start against the Knicks on Wednesday.

He'll likely be guarding Carmelo Anthony for all of his minutes. Mbah a Moute doesn't have much value in fantasy even if he started consistently.
Feb 8 - 8:12 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute moved to the bench against the Suns on Wednesday with eight points, two rebounds, one steal and one block in 13 minutes.

The Clippers went small with their three-guard lineup and it worked. Coach Doc Rivers has really been going with more matchup-based lineups, but it doesn't really matter in fantasy for Mbah a Moute. Keep him on the wire. LMAM will likely be starting against Kevin Durant on Thursday.
Feb 2 - 1:57 AM

Luc Mbah a Moute hit 4-of-5 shots and a 3-pointer for 12 points, seven rebounds, one assist, two steals and a season-high four blocks in Monday's 115-105 win over the Hawks.

His previous season high in blocks was two and his seven boards tied his season high in rebounds. He hadn't blocked a shot in his previous five games and rarely scores in double figures, or has games like the one he had tonight. Leave him on waivers.
Jan 23 - 10:31 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) returned from a two-game stint on the sidelines on Sunday, and moved back into the starting lineup tallying six points, one board, one steal and one turnover in 17 minutes.

With Mbah a Moute back in action, Austin Rivers returned to the bench where he put up 13 points, two assists, two steals, one 3-pointer and one turnover in 25 minutes. Neither of these guys are worth a roster spot in most formats.
