The Lakers signed rookie shooting guard Joe Crawford to an undisclosed contract on Wednesday.

Crawford is a natural scorer, but won't play more than a bit part off the Lakers bench. His ball-handling isn't great, he needs to shoot threes with greater consistency, and his size is a liability on defense.

The Lakers selected SG Joe Crawford with the 58th pick in Thursday's draft.

Crawford has a decent offensive repertoire and is a solid defender. Detractors point to his 'tweener' status -- at 6'4" he might struggle with bigger shooting guards. We assume that he'll be useless in fantasy leagues next season.
