Celtics sign F Rob Kurz.

The deal is non-guaranteed. Kurz, who was last seen in the Spanish league in 2010, will get a camp invite from the Celtics, but is a long shot to make the team. He had a couple of surprisingly fantastic nights for the Warriors back in 2009, but his NBA run was a short one. He's just a training camp body.

The Spanish team CB Granada has signed ex-NBA power forward Rob Kurz.

The big man spent last season in the D-League, averaging 17.5 points and 10.1 rebounds. He's a blue-collar PF who could easily resurface in the NBA a few years down the line.

The Bulls have waived forwards Rob Kurz and Chris Richard.

Kurz never appeared in a single game for Chicago, while Richard compiled ho-hum averages of 2.1 point and 3.3 rebounds in 12.4 minutes per game. Just a little more cap space for the Bulls.

Bulls signed F Rob Kurz.

Kurz is one of those guys that is too good for the D-League and not quite good enough for the NBA. He's unlikely to see minutes in the final four games.

The Cavaliers waived forward Rob Kurz and center Luke Nevill on Monday.

This brings Cleveland's roster down to 18 players, so expect further cuts in the next few days.

Rob Kurz has decided to take the Cavaliers' non-guaranteed contract invitation to participate in training camp.

He was also considering Denver, but he has a pretty good shot at making Cleveland's roster because they currently have just 12 guaranteed contracts. Of course, he'll have to perform well, which means he'll be expected to hit a ton of threes in camp and the preseason.

Forward Rob Kurz, who has basically been offered a spot on the Cavaliers' roster, is now thinking about taking more money to play for Denver instead.

The fantasy implications on where Kurz lands are almost nonexistent, but he is a 3-point specialist who was occasionally worth a pickup in deep leagues last season when Don Nelson chose to play him. The Cavs would like to get him to help spread the floor with smaller lineups, but he'll go to Denver if they offer him more guaranteed cash.

Free agent forward Rob Kurz has yet to accept the Cavaliers invitation to training camp because they are not guaranteeing him significant money.

According to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, there is one other team interested in giving Kurz a guaranteed deal. He shouldn't have fantasy value no matter where he lands.

The Cavaliers have signed free agent forward Rob Kurz to a non-guaranteed contract worth $736k.

Kurz averaged just 3.9 points and 2.0 rebounds with the Warriors last season, but he has a soft shooting touch (40% from downtown) and could be a nice complement to lumbering big men Shaquille O'Neal and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. The Cavs also signed center Darryl Watkins to a non-guaranteed contract, though the odds of his making the team are very slim.

Free agent forward Rob Kurz is hoping to sign with the Sixers this summer.

He is not likely to return to the Warriors next season, although he did have several decent stretches for coach Don Nelson last year. Regardless of where he lands, it's unlikely that Kurz will have fantasy relevance this season.

Rob Kurz came off the Warriors bench for 21 points and five rebounds on Saturday, making 8-of-14 field goals and a career-best 4-of-7 three-pointers.

Kurz added three assists and one steal in 37 minutes and might actually be worth owning in deep leagues. The Warriors are so thin that he'll play decent minutes by default.

One game after starting and scoring 20 points, Rob Kurz was a DNP - Coach's Decision on Monday.

That pretty much sums up the Don Nelson experience perfectly. With no report of a Kurz injury, we're assuming that he simply got outright benched for reasons we may never understand. Kurz may be worth hanging onto in deeper leagues, but it's hard to see how he's going to get anything resembling consistent minutes.

Rookie forward Rob Kurz started at power forward for the Warriors on Saturday, finishing with 20 points, three three-pointers, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 33 minutes.

Kurz appeared in just seven games all season prior to this, and joins a long list of young Warriors whom Don Nelson has temporarily promoted to the starting lineup. Impressive as this performance was, it's hard to see Kurz with consistent value once Brandan Wright (flu) and Ronny Turiaf (flu) return to the lineup.

Rob Kurz was claimed off waivers by GS on Sunday November 9.
