Cartier Martin (wrist) had a brace on his wrist at practice on Monday.

Usually, talking about Cartiers and wrists is a good thing. Jokes aside, Martin won't be in the rotation this year with the Pistons adding some depth to their wings. It's not his time right now.

Cartier Martin has exercised his $1.3 million option with the Pistons for next season.

It was a fairly easy decision for Martin, who played in just 23 games last season. Martin won't be in the rotation next season.

Cartier Martin (ankle) will not play against the Spurs on Wednesday.

He's had problems with his foot since November, but it's unclear if this is some sort of aggravation. Martin isn't in the rotation and is not worth owning in almost any leagues.

Cartier Martin (foot) will mis Tuesday's game against the Hornets.

Martin's plantar fasciitis had reportedly healed, but it looks like the Pistons are playing it safe with him as they head into the All-Star break. Healthy or not, Martin is only averaging 8.4 minutes per game this season and doesn't belong on any fantasy rosters.

Cartier Martin (foot) played two minutes in Tuesday's road defeat, failing to score or record any statistics.

Martin has been slowed by plantar fasciitis and may need a while to regain his conditioning. Even at full strength he's a negligible fantasy option while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Singler and Caron Butler are all healthy.

Cartier Martin (foot) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Thunder.

He's getting very close to making his regular-season debut, but tonight will not be the night. When he does finally return to the active roster, he's not likely to average enough minutes to be worthy of standard league consideration, but may take away some minutes from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Feel free to leave him on the wire.

Cartier Martin (foot) is likely going to play against the Thunder on Friday.

He has been out all season with plantar fasciitis. Martin is not a lock for minutes, but he could take some playing time away from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Cartier Martin (foot) went through a full practice on Thursday, and hopes to be able to play Friday vs. OKC.

Martin will see how his foot responds to going through a full practice on Thursday, but if all is well, he'll look to make his season-debut Friday. However, he'll likely be eased back into the rotation, and is looking at a backup role at best, so he's not going to be worth owning in standard leagues.
