Date:

Omri Casspi (eye) is being listed as probable for Monday's game against the Blazers.

Casspi left Saturday's game with an eye injury, but it can't be too serious since he's already ready to roll just two days later.
Jan 19 - 12:16 PM

Omri Casspi (right eye) left Saturday's game against the Clippers and is questionable to return.

His role in Sacramento is very limited at the moment, so his absence wouldn't have any fantasy implications. We will pass along further information as soon as we know more.
Jan 17 - 10:55 PM

Omri Casspi (knee) returned to action on Friday, scoring two points on 1-of-5 shooting with two assists in 17 minutes.

Casspi has played well when healthy but his knee is sort of messed up and he hasn't really been a good fantasy play at full strength. He can be left on the waiver wire.
Jan 17 - 2:48 AM

Omri Casspi (knee) is probable to play against the Heat on Friday.

He had a knee aggravation last month and has been out for every game in 2015. Casspi is very likely to start in tonight's matchup with Rudy Gay (knee) out. In his previous two starts, he averaged 18.0 points, 5.5 boards, 1.5 assists and 0.5 treys. Casspi is certainly an option tonight, but coming off an injury provides some risk.

Jan 16 - 4:38 PM

Omri Casspi (knee) was a full participant during Thursday's practice, but his status for Friday's game against Miami is not yet known.

With Rudy Gay's (knee) status also up in the air, Casspi could see some extended minutes on Friday if he's able to go. However, if both Casspi and Gay are ruled out, Derrick Williams would likely start and get all the minutes he can handle, and he could make for a nice play in daily leagues. Stay tuned.
Jan 15 - 3:55 PM

Omri Casspi (knee) will miss Tuesday's game against the Mavericks.

Casspi will sit for the sixth consecutive game Tuesday night while Derrick Williams and Nik Stauskas will continue see a minutes increase in his absence. Neither player offers much more fantasy value than a punt play in daily leagues, while Casspi can safely be cut in all but the deepest of leagues.
Jan 13 - 11:17 AM

Omri Casspi (knee) will not play on Sunday vs. the Cavaliers.

He has been dealing with a bone contusion in his knee for over a month now and the Kings won't likely rush him back until he is at 100 percent. Derrick Williams and Nik Stauskas will continue to see an increase in their minutes off the bench, but not enough to matter in most leagues.
Jan 11 - 10:45 AM

Omri Casspi (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Nuggets.

Nik Stauskas and Derrick Williams will continue to see some extended minutes with Casspi sidelined, but neither guy makes for a great play in daily leagues.
Jan 9 - 11:03 AM

Omri Casspi (knee) will not play vs. the Thunder on Wednesday.

Nik Stauskas and Derrick Williams should each earn a few more minutes with Casspi unavailable, though this doesn't have a tangible impact in 12-team fantasy leagues. Casspi is day-to-day, leaving him iffy to return for Friday's game vs. the Nuggets.
Jan 6 - 8:40 PM

Omri Casspi (knee) did not practice on Tuesday.

That's not a good sign for his status heading into Wednesday's game against the Thunder, but he's really only worth using when Rudy Gay is sidelined. If Casspi is unable to go on Wednesday, look for Nik Stauskas to see an uptick in minutes, however he too remains a negligible option in most leagues.
Jan 6 - 4:00 PM

Omri Casspi (left knee bone contusion) will not play on Sunday vs. the Pistons.

He sat out on Thursday against Boston so his knee must still be giving him some problems. Consider Casspi day-to-day moving forward, and expect rookie Nik Stauskas to see an uptick in minutes.
Jan 3 - 8:23 PM

Omri Casspi (left knee bone contusion) will not suit up for Thursday's game vs. the Timberwolves.

With Casspi sidelined Derrick Williams and Nik Stauskas will pick up some extra minutes, but neither guy makes for a great play in daily leagues.
Jan 1 - 6:49 PM

Omri Casspi (left knee bone contusion) is doutbful for Thursday's game against the Timberwolves.

Casspi's potential absence shouldn't have much impact on fantasy owners as he hasn't been a big part of the Kings' rotation as of late, but Derrick Williams and Nik Stauskas should get some extra run if Casspi is unable to play Thursday.
Jan 1 - 12:55 PM

Omri Casspi (knee) returned to action on Monday, scoring 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting with eight rebounds, three assists and one block in 29 minutes.

Casspi's knee injury has kept him off the floor since just before Mike Malone's firing and he apparently feels great now. He was a garbage time guy tonight and though he's played well, he is still a waiver wire guy in most standard formats.
