Omri Casspi (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.

This isn't a surprise after Casspi did not return on Tuesday. Plus, he also had some ankle problems in the preseason, so it's possible he misses time. He did log over four minutes in the first half, so he was probably looking at around 13 minutes or so before the injury. If Casspi is out, it'll be Patrick McCaw, Nick Young and Andre Iguodala out there.
Oct 18 - 3:18 PM

Omri Casspi (ankle) won't return to Tuesday's game vs. the Rockets.

He was originally questionable for this game because of his ankle, but he tweaked it after just four minutes of action and finished with two points and one rebound. He has no fantasy value and only entered the game due to injuries to Draymond Green (knee) and Andre Iguodala (back).

Oct 18 - 1:13 AM

Omri Casspi (ankle) will be available to play in Tuesday's season opener against the Rockets.

Andre Iguodala (back) won't be taking the floor tonight, so maybe Casspi will be able to earn some limited minutes in the rotation. However, as long as the main guys in Golden State are healthy, Casspi won't be earning enough minutes to make a difference in any format.
Oct 17 - 5:48 PM

Omri Casspi (ankle) returned to practice on Monday.

He remains "questionable" for Tuesday's season opener, but Warriors' reporter Anthony Slater suggested that Casspi should be considered "extremely probable." That being said, even if Casspi is cleared to play, there are no guarantees he'll step foot on the court.
Oct 16 - 3:41 PM

Omri Casspi (ankle) is questionable to play in Tuesday's regular-season opener against Houston.

Casspi's injury isn't serious, so even if he is forced to sit out the Dubs' season opener, he should be making his debut shortly after that. Casspi is more of an emergency depth kind of guy in Golden State, but he won't be a reliable rotation player this season.
Oct 15 - 4:51 PM

Omri Casspi suffered a mild ankle sprain on Friday and will not return.

He was going to defend and it looked like he stepped on Georgios Papagiannis' foot. It didn't look bad and there's a good chance he'll be ready to start the year.
Oct 13 - 11:53 PM

Omri Casspi will not play against the Nuggets on Saturday.

He won't be out there because it's Yom Kippur, so the Warriors will go with the rest of their roster to fill the wing minutes. Coach Steve Kerr said everyone else on the roster is expected to play, so don't expect many players to see over 20 minutes.
Sep 29 - 8:11 PM

Omri Casspi will join the Warriors on a one-year deal according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The financials of the deal aren't known yet, but he will likely sign for the veteran's minimum. The Warriors are hoping that Patrick McCaw can take on a larger role next season, so Casspi is looking at a handful of minutes at best.
Jul 4 - 7:23 PM

The Warriors are reportedly "in talks" with unrestricted free agent Omri Casspi.

Casspi could help bolster the second unit in Golden State, but he wouldn't average enough minutes with the Warriors to have any real impact in fantasy hoops.
Jul 4 - 3:20 PM

Omri Casspi played 22 minutes in his Wolves debut vs. the Spurs on Tuesday, finishing with five points (2-of-2 FGs), one rebound and one triple.

Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau was talking him up before the game and said he likes his floor spacing, so maybe he can earn a larger role going forward. For now, Casspi is just someone to keep an eye on in deeper formats.
Mar 22 - 12:44 AM

Omri Casspi will be available to play Tuesday vs. the Spurs.

"Shooting is critical," Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau said. "We think [Casspi] can open up the floor. He’s shown throughout his career he’s been a really good shooter. We’ve always liked him. So we’ll get a look at him." Casspi is still sporting a small brace on his surgically repaired thumb, and he'll likely be rusty tonight considering he hasn't taken the court in about a month, so this is wait-and-see territory in most leagues.
Mar 21 - 2:32 PM

The Timberwolves have officially signed Omri Casspi.

With Lance Stephenson no longer on the roster and Nemanja Bjelica (foot) done for the year, Casspi should be able to get some playing time in Minnesota. However, this remains a wait-and-see situation just about everywhere.
Mar 20 - 4:40 PM

Omri Casspi is closing on a deal with the Timberwolves, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

He reportedly is ahead of schedule on his thumb injury and he getting close to his original target date. The Wolves are dying for a combo forward like Casspi with Nemanja Bjelica (ankle) out for the season, and they also lost Lance Stephenson. Casspi would likely get minutes, but he's not a great player to add just yet.
Mar 19 - 3:53 PM

ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that Omri Casspi (thumb) has been cleared to resume basketball activities.

Stein also reports that Casspi is "now evaluating his options and has drawn interest from multiple playoff teams, including the Grizzlies and Clippers." Casspi fractured his right thumb on Feb. 24 and was expected to be sidelined until March 24 at the earliest, so he is clearly ahead of schedule. However, it is unlikely he will be ready to play heavy minutes or make a significant fantasy impact over the final month of the regular season. He can be left on waivers.
