The Grizzlies have invited Earl Clark to training camp on an unguaranteed contract.
Clark has five years of NBA experience, splitting the 2013-14 season between the Cavaliers and Knicks. He shot very poorly last year and is barely above 40 percent from the field during his pro career, and he's a longshot to make the Grizzlies' final roster. Sep 14 - 3:07 PM

Free agent F Earl Clark will work out for the Spurs this week.

Clark is coming off a disappointing 2013-14 season with the Cavaliers and Knicks, averaging 4.8 points on 37.2 percent shooting in limited action. The Spurs added rookie Kyle Anderson to a group of backup forwards which also includes Boris Diaw, Jeff Ayres and Austin Daye, so Clark won't be a fantasy asset if he signs in San Antonio.
Sep 2 - 2:23 PM

Earl Clark's contract with the Knicks expired on Thursday.

New York declined to sign him for the rest of the season, and they no longer required him with Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler both healthy and playing well. Clark hasn't been a fantasy asset in Cleveland or New York this season, but he may well get picked up on another 10-day deal before the season ends.
Mar 20 - 3:34 PM

Earl Clark played six minutes against the Heat on Thursday with two points.

He should get some minutes for the Knicks as they look to solve their perpetual problems at forward. Clark's jumper fell apart with Cleveland and there's little reason to think he'll get it going with the change of scenery.
Feb 28 - 12:42 AM

Earl Clark could see some playing time against the Heat Thursday night.

The newly-signed Clark most likely won't see the court against the Heat, but coach Mike Woodson said he would be available if other players get into foul trouble. Clark is only averaging 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds this season, so his fantasy value is essentially non-existent even if he finds his way onto the court against LeBron and company.
Feb 27 - 11:18 AM

The Knicks and free agent F Earl Clark are finalizing a contract agreement, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

This confirms earlier reports about the Knicks' interest in Clark, whom New York wants for his defensive abilities. He'll assume of the roster spots freed up by the departure of Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih. The Knicks may also have interest in signing free agent Dahntay Jones, but neither Clark nor Jones figures to have any fantasy value in standard formats.
Feb 25 - 5:07 PM

The Knicks are "pursuing" free agent F Earl Clark, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Clark recently cleared waivers after being released by the 76ers and his defensive prowess is exactly what the Knicks are looking for as they fill out their 15-man roster. Deep league owners may want to keep an eye on him but he's averaging 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds this season and wouldn't get enough playing time off the Knicks bench to make a dent in standard leagues.
Feb 25 - 3:27 PM

Sixers waive F/C Earl Clark.

The team had to cut someone after making their moves today and they chose to keep their young guy. Clark was not a good fit the Sixers with his jumper falling apart lately and not being able to integrate himself in the two-man game. He can be cut in all leagues.
Feb 21 - 12:14 AM

Earl Clark is expected to see more minutes with the Sixers following Thursday's deadline.

He basically split his 15.5 minutes per game at both forward spots with the Cavs and should at least get in the 20s with his new team. There is really no bigger wild card than Clark for Philly's system, but not being adept as a roll man and his struggles shooting the rock won't help. He's gone completely cold from downtown in 2014, making just 14.7 percent from that range as part of his overall 32.1 percent from the field in that span. Still, he's an athletic enough power forward to get run in the up-tempo offense and can actually defend small forwards, unlike most of his teammates. He's worth a look in some formats as a decent upside pickup.
Feb 20 - 4:41 PM

Cavs Forward Earl Clark will reportedly be included in the Spencer Hawes deal, according to David Aldridge.

Clark would back up Thaddeus Young, unless Young gets traded. And if that happens, it's even possible Clark could start at power forward in Philly. Clark isn't likely to be a strong fantasy option, even if starting. There's also a possibility the Sixers could still be working on sending some of their second-round picks to Houston for Omer Asik.
Feb 20 - 10:59 AM

Earl Clark likely made his final start at small forward for the Cavaliers on Tuesday and played just 11 minutes, finishing with two points on 1-of-6 shooting.

Luol Deng should be in uniform for their next game which will send Clark directly to the bench without passing Go, or collecting $200. Which means he can be dropped in most leagues in which he was being held.
Jan 7 - 11:00 PM

Earl Clark started at SF and played over 34 minutes in Tuesday's loss, which he finished with seven points on 2-of-11 shooting, one 3-pointer, four rebounds and one block.

Clark has at least one block in five straight games, and his 3-point range gives him some upside, but thus far he hasn't played consistently enough to start for fantasy owners.

Earl Clark started at small forward against the Hawks on Thursday and had three points, five boards, one assist, one block and one 3-pointer in 18 minutes.

It's nice to be a starter for some players, but tonight serves as yet another example that it doesn't mean everything. Clark is having a decent year shooting from deep, but he has a long way to go before he's on the radar in standard or even 16-team leagues.

Earl Clark will replace Alonzo Gee as the Cavaliers' starting SF on Thursday.

Clark is averaging just 4.0 points in the past two games, which isn’t much better than his season-average 6.1 points on 41.5 percent shooting. The SF spot has been a fantasy dead-zone all year and it’s unlikely to change with Clark ahead of Gee.

Earl Clark scored 14 points off the bench for the Cavs on Friday with 14 points, three assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 19 minutes.

His minutes doubled from the nine he played on Tuesday and it probably had a lot to do with Dion Waiters not playing tonight. Clark leads the team in 3-point percentage, but it's hard to pick him up based on Waiters only being day-to-day with his wrist injury.
