Toronto's new D-League affiliate, Raptors905, has selected Earl Clark in the D-League expansion draft.
The Raptors now have the rights to 16 new players who can be found in the link below and have several players with NBA experience. Clark could still head overseas, but he won't provide much fantasy impact even if he's able to play his way back into the NBA. Aug 20 - 10:53 AM

The Nets will waive Earl Clark.

He wants to pursue a deal overseas and the Nets will accommodate him. Clark was at Summer League with the Nets and wasn't impressive even against the inferior talent, so he wouldn't have made a big impact anyway.
Aug 3 - 9:08 PM

Earl Clark reportedly wants the Nets to waive him so that he can pursue another contract, possibly overseas.

Clark's $1.2 million salary is only guaranteed for $200k as long as he's waived on or before Oct. 26. The Nets need to cut two players to trim their roster to 15 before the season, so all signs point to Clark being waived in the near future.

Aug 2 - 3:33 PM

Earl Clark started on Tuesday but played only 11 minutes, scoring four points on 2-of-6 shooting with three rebounds.

Five different reserves played more than Clark, who is now averaging 12.0 minutes through three Summer League games. The Nets have until Oct. 26 to waive Clark and his $1.2 million salary, and his role in Orlando suggests they're likely to part ways.
Jul 7 - 7:37 PM

Earl Clark has been named to the Nets Summer League roster.

He'll try to prove his worth during Summer League, but he's not much more than a backup in the NBA. Clark owns career-averages of 4.4 points and 3.0 rebounds on 40.3 percent shooting from the field, which tells you pretty much all you need to know of his non-existent fantasy value.
Jun 30 - 6:54 PM

Earl Clark said that his future with the Nets is uncertain after speaking with general manager Billy King.

Clark's contract for next season is non-guaranteed, but the Nets have until Oct. 26 to make a decision. Clark said that he may end up playing in the summer league if the Nets do cut him loose, so it sounds like he is prepared to move on. He averaged just 2.7 points and 2.3 boards in 10 appearances last season, so he won't be on the fantasy radar regardless of where he lands.
Jun 6 - 9:19 AM

Earl Clark will be active for Game 3 against the Hawks on Saturday, while Cory Jefferson will move to the inactive list.

Jefferson was active for Game 2 and Clark was not, so the team is simply shaking things up. Neither player will likely be in the rotation for the playoffs, so this news shouldn't impact your plans in fantasy leagues.
Apr 25 - 2:09 PM

Earl Clark (personal) missed shootaround, but he's still expected to play Friday vs. Washington.

Clark isn't a major part of Brooklyn's rotations, and with averages of just 3.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game on 37.0 percent shooting from the field, there's no reason to own him in any league.
Apr 10 - 10:42 AM

Nets sign F Earl Clark to a multiyear deal.

The expected move is now official. The Nets will hold a team option on Clark for next season, and it's nice to see him rebound after briefly falling out of the NBA.
Apr 6 - 10:36 AM

The Nets have reached an agreement to sign F Earl Clark to a two-year deal on Sunday.

The Nets hold a team option on Clark for next season, but they have obviously been impressed with his play so far. Clark played well vs. the Hawks on Saturday with 11 points, seven boards, one steal and one assist in 22 minutes, but garbage time was the main reason why he got so much run. Unless he carves out a decent role off the bench, Clark belongs on the wire in most leagues.
Apr 5 - 8:30 PM

The Nets are expected to re-sign Earl Clark to a second 10-day contract.

Clark logged 22 minutes on Saturday but he's shooting just 34.6 percent with Brooklyn and is nowhere near being a reliable fantasy option. We'll let you know if his outlook miraculously improves over the final 10 days of the regular season.
Apr 5 - 6:51 PM

Earl Clark played 22 minutes against the Hawks on Saturday with 11 points, seven boards, one assist and one steal.

He played basically the entire game in garbage time because he checked in with the score at 39-62 in the second quarter. Clark might be in the rotation on Monday during the NBA's only game. He's still only an option if you're desperately streaming.
Apr 4 - 10:34 PM

Earl Clark came off Brooklyn's bench to score four points in 20 minutes on Sunday, making just 2-of-10 field goals with eight rebounds and two blocks.

Clark, who played for L.A. in 2012-13, was acquired by the Nets on a 10-day contract this Friday. He could stick around all season if Thaddeus Young (knee) is forced to miss more time, but there's minimal incentive to add the career 40.5 percent shooter in fantasy leagues.
Mar 29 - 6:02 PM

The Nets have signed F Earl Clark to a 10-day contract.

This move may have something to do with Thaddeus Young's recent knee injury, and Clark will give the Nets some much-needed depth at the power forward spot. That being said, he's unlikely to earn significant minutes right out the gate, so it's safe to leave Clark on the waiver wire in most leagues.
Mar 27 - 10:51 AM

Earl Clark is reportedly closing in on signing a lucrative deal to play in China.

There was a report back in November that Clark was nearing a one-year deal with the Lakers, but it appears that he's going to take more money to play overseas.
