Gerald Henderson scored 20 points with five rebounds and three 3-pointer sin 31 minutes against the Wizards on Friday.
It was one of his best games of the season on offense, but he did struggle on the other end. With the 76ers likely to get a look at Justin Anderson at some point, it's likely to be at Henderson's expense. Leave him on the wire. Feb 24 - 10:35 PM

Gerald Henderson was ejected with less than a minute remaining on Wednesday.

He got into a shoving match with Marcus Smart, but the refs gave him two technical fouls for arguing. Henderson finished with 11 points and two steals in 25 minutes in this loss. He is unlikely to be suspended and doesn't have much fantasy value.
Feb 15 - 9:57 PM

Gerald Henderson didn't do much in his second consecutive start on Thursday, scoring eight points with one rebound and one block in 21 minutes.

This is pretty much par for the course when Henderson starts. He's really only out there for defense, so fantasy owners can continue to ignore him.
Feb 9 - 10:28 PM

Gerald Henderson started Wednesday's game and scored six points with three boards, one assist, one 3-pointer and two turnovers in 23 minutes.

Brett Brown went with the veteran Henderson over Stauskas tonight. Whether the change sticks or not, Henderson is an undesirable fantasy asset outside of the deepest leagues.
Feb 8 - 10:56 PM

Gerald Henderson will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, sending Nik Stauskas to the bench.

Henderson's minutes as a reserve vs. a starter aren't all that different, and regardless of how he enters the game, he's not a viable target in most leagues. The same can be said for Stauskas. T.J. McConnell, Robert Covington, Ersan Ilyasova and Jahlil Okafor will join Henderson in the starting five for tonight's game.

Gerald Henderson will come off the bench for Monday's game against the Pistons.

Robert Covington (hand) is getting the start tonight, but Henderson's role and minutes don't fluctuate much based on how he enters the game. He's not worth a roster spot in most settings.
Feb 6 - 6:22 PM

Gerald Henderson scored 12 points in a start on Saturday vs. the Heat, shooting 6-of-12 from the field with two assists and two steals.

He only played 24 minutes, and while the blowout was a factor, he could be back on the bench for Monday's game vs. the Pistons -- Covington was originally questionable for Saturday's game before he was ruled out, but he was doing some ball-handling drills and said his hand was doing better. Henderson isn't an add in most leagues.
Feb 4 - 10:47 PM

Gerald Henderson will start against the Heat on Saturday.

The 76ers will go smaller at the three against the Heat's three-guard lineup. Dario Saric will move back to the bench after he was on Kawhi Leonard for Thursday. Henderson could get minutes in the 24-30 for this game, so he is on the board as a punt, especially if Jahlil Okafor (knee) can't play. He's not really an add in season-long leagues.
Feb 4 - 6:14 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) played 24 minutes against the Mavs on Wednesday with 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Even with Robert Covington (hand) out, Henderson was right at his season average of 24.0 minutes per game. Some of this could be due to his troublesome hip injury and coach Brett Brown not wanting to extend his minutes. Henderson is only a deep-league, low-upside guy.
Feb 2 - 12:10 AM

Gerald Henderson (hip) is available to play against the Mavs on Wednesday night.

He's had some hip problems before and also missed some time earlier this season. Henderson had hip surgery back in 2015 and may have to battle through this until the break. He could get minutes in the 20s with Robert Covington (hand) out, but it will likely be Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot stepping up the most.
Feb 1 - 7:04 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) is probable to play Wednesday vs. the Mavericks.

Henderson should continue to flirt with minutes in the mid-20s as a starter, but with averages of just 9.7 points and not much else on the season, Henderson can't be considered a viable target in most settings.
Feb 1 - 1:31 PM

Gerald Henderson scored a season-high 20 against the Bucks on Wednesday, adding two rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers.

He's easily outplayed Nik Stauskas and also closed this game out for the 76ers. Henderson hasn't really done much this month before this game, averaging 9.5 points, 2.7 boards, 1.8 assists and 1.0 treys in his previous January games. He's not really a pickup in most leagues.
Jan 25 - 11:26 PM

Gerald Henderson scored 18 points with four rebounds, one assist, one block and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Celtics on Friday.

He was very effective and closed this game out. Henderson will likely be starting in the next game, but he doesn't have much fantasy value.
Jan 6 - 10:29 PM

Gerald Henderson (illness) will play on Friday against the Celtics and will come off the bench.

He may take minutes from Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot or even Nik Stauskas. Henderson is losing ground on minutes with the 76ers looking at their younger guys, so he's not a fantasy option.
Jan 6 - 6:07 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) is still listed as probable for Friday's game vs. Boston.

Joel Embiid (illness) and Robert Covington (back) have been upgraded from questionable to probable, while Sergio Rodriguez (ankle) has been downgraded from probable to questionable. Henderson remains on track to play. We will have to wait until closer to tip-off to see if Henderson will slide back into the starting lineup after missing three games.
