Gerald Henderson (sore hip) played 22 minutes during Wednesday's home loss, scoring five points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and three turnovers.
Henderson's shot wasn't falling tonight, as he went just 2-of-10 from the field with one 3-pointer, and he also turned the ball over three times. The Sixers had nine players on their active roster tonight and Henderson is the rare veteran to stick in the rotation on a young, rebuilding team, but he's still not a fantasy asset. Gerald Henderson (hip) is probable to play against the Hawks on Wednesday.

He'll be coming off the bench and the 76ers should take a long look at Justin Anderson in the starting lineup. Henderson isn't worth owning as the 76ers may look at their young guys more than they have before this point.
Mar 29 - 5:33 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) has been ruled out of Tuesday's game vs. the Nets.

This is not surprising, as the Sixers also play on Wednesday and they have previously kept Henderson out of back-to-back sets due to his nagging hip injury. Nik Stauskas, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Justin Anderson could see a slight uptick in minutes.
Mar 28 - 11:27 AM

Gerald Henderson (hip) played 18 minutes during Sunday's 107-94 loss in Indiana, going 2-of-6 from the field for five points, two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer.

Henderson's hip has been a nagging issue for most of the season, and it's somewhat surprising that Philly hasn't simply shut him down. He's little more than a veteran mentor at this point, setting an example for his neophyte teammates, and the vast majority of fantasy owners can do better on the wire.
Mar 26 - 9:15 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) is available to play on Sunday vs. the Pacers.

He sat out of the morning shootaround and is likely battling some soreness in his hip. Henderson will likely pick up some DNPs down the stretch, so he belongs on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues.
Mar 26 - 11:34 AM

Gerald Henderson scored four points with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 16 minutes against the Thunder on Wednesday.

The 76ers didn't play Henderson on Monday and actually put him in the first unit to start the second half. With the 76ers likely wanting to get a longer look at their younger wings, Henderson won't be playing too much down the stretch.
Mar 22 - 11:40 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) will not play on Monday vs. the Magic.

Henderson will no longer play in both games of back-to-back sets, but they only have one more back-to-back set remaining on the schedule. Hendo has been battling through hip soreness, so he could be a shut-down candidate down the stretch. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Robert Covington will log heavy minutes on the wings, but Justin Anderson could see a nice bump as well. Henderson belongs on the wire in most formats.
Mar 20 - 5:47 PM

Gerald Henderson scored nine points with three rebounds and one assist against the Celtics on Sunday.

He did play some clutch minutes in this game and being the team's best free throw shooter this season helps his case. Still, the 76ers won't be playing him big minutes to get a longer look at their young guys.
Mar 19 - 4:13 PM

Gerald Henderson is probable for Sunday's game vs. the Celtics.

He's still dealing with some left hip soreness, the same hip he had surgery on in 2015. With Justin Anderson (illness) out Sunday, Hendo could pick up a few extra minutes off the bench. Don't be surprised if he's rested on Monday vs. the Magic, though.
Mar 19 - 11:19 AM

Gerald Henderson wil come off the bench on Tuesday vs. the Warriors.

Henderson hasn't been 100 percent lately, so he's probably not a lock to see the floor. Robert Covington (knee) is playing tonight and the 76ers are rolling with Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot at SG, so we wouldn't be surprised if this move was permanent. Henderson shouldn't be owned in most leagues anyways.
Mar 14 - 9:43 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) returned to the starting lineup on Sunday and had nine points on 3-of-7 shooting with two rebounds, one assist, one block and one 3-pointer.

The eight-year veteran looked spry tonight, exploding on multiple rim-runs and showing no ill effects from his lingering hip ailment. He's been earning minutes in the mid-20s when healthy and coach Brett Brown seems to like him as a veteran stalwart on the court. Just bear in mind that his role could evaporate overnight if Philly opts to turn loose guys like Nik Stauskas, Justin Anderson and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot.
Mar 13 - 12:32 AM

Gerald Henderson (hip) will start in Sunday's road game against the Lakers.

With Henderson back in action Nik Stauskas will likely see his minutes dry up a bit. Henderson was mostly resting his ailing hip with a back-to-back situation in SoCal. Even with Henderson back it appears Justin Anderson and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot will continue to get a good look, as Robert Covington (knee) is sidelined for Sunday's game.

Gerald Henderson (hip soreness) is out for Saturday against the Clippers.

He is expected to play on Sunday, so this is more rest than anything else. Henderson's hip has cost him a handful of games throughout the season and the 76ers want to get a look at Justin Anderson, so there should be several more games off. Anderson is someone to watch today while Nik Stauskas could benefit if he can hit shots.
Mar 11 - 2:06 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) did not practice Friday and may miss game action this weekend.

The Sixers play the Clippers on Saturday and the Lakers on Sunday. It sounds like Philadelphia is planning on sitting Henderson at least one of those contests. We should have a much better idea of the plan after shootaround on Saturday morning. If Hendo misses time, Justin Anderson and Nik Stauskas would see an uptick in minutes.
Mar 10 - 5:45 PM

Gerald Henderson came off the bench on Thursday and hit 5-of-10 shots for 14 points, three rebounds and a steal in 29 minutes.

He has been starting but he's dealing with a hip injury and the Sixers might be ready to limit Henderson's role in an effort to get Justin Anderson and Nik Stauskas ready for the future. Stauskas started tonight and missed all six of his shots, while Anderson played just eight minutes. However, there is really no reason for Philly to keep running Henderson out there the rest of the way. His arrow is pointing down, despite tonight's solid bench effort.
