Gerald Henderson (illness) will play on Friday against the Celtics and will come off the bench.

He may take minutes from Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot or even Nik Stauskas. Henderson is losing ground on minutes with the 76ers looking at their younger guys, so he's not a fantasy option.
Jan 6 - 6:07 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) is still listed as probable for Friday's game vs. Boston.

Joel Embiid (illness) and Robert Covington (back) have been upgraded from questionable to probable, while Sergio Rodriguez (ankle) has been downgraded from probable to questionable. Henderson remains on track to play. We will have to wait until closer to tip-off to see if Henderson will slide back into the starting lineup after missing three games.
Jan 6 - 1:13 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) is probable for Friday's game vs. the Celtics .

Hendo was probable for Tuesday vs. the Wolves before he ultimately missed his third straight game, but it seems likely that he plays this time around with Robert Covington (back) questionable and Hollis Thompson no longer with the team. With season averages of 9.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.9 triples, fantasy owners should look elsewhere.
Jan 5 - 12:37 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) will not play Tuesday vs. the Timberwolves.

He went from probable, to questionable, to out, and now his next opportunity to play will come Friday in Boston. With Henderson on the sidelines, Nik Stauskas will remain in the starting five and there will be more minutes available for Ersan Ilyasova and Hollis Thompson.

Gerald Henderson (hip) has been downgraded to questionable for Tuesday's game against Minnesota.

Henderson was initially being listed as probable, but his hip must have flared up after going through shootaround. If Hendo can't give it a go tonight, Nik Stauskas and Hollis Thompson will continue to split his minutes, but neither guy is a very attractive standard league target.
Jan 3 - 3:20 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) is probable for Tuesday's game vs. the Wolves.

He was limited at Monday's practice, but Henderson is fully expected to play after a two-game absence. With Hendo back, both Nik Stauskas and Hollis Thompson will lose most of their value. Henderson is averaging 9.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.9 triples this season.
Jan 2 - 12:49 PM

Gerald Henderson (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday and Friday.

He suffered a hip injury on Monday and was not able to return. Henderson had some hip problems earlier in his career and has been injury prone at times, so the 76ers may be careful here. The last time Henderson missed a game, it was Hollis Thompson getting the start. Nik Stauskas should also benefit and pick up some run for owners in deep leagues while Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot would likely be in the rotation. Henderson only has a 17.2 usage rate in 24.6 minutes, so it won't be a big hole to fill for the 76ers.

Gerald Henderson (hip) is doubtful to play Thursday vs. the Jazz.

Henderson exited Monday's game during the fourth quarter with the hip injury, and head coach Brett Brown said he wouldn't be surprised if Henderson sat out Thursday's contest. With Henderson on the sidelines, Nik Stauskas or Hollis Thompson could enter the starting lineup, and it's possible we could see Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot enter the rotation. Brown also hinted that Dario Saric could see some more touches on offense with Henderson on the sidelines. Stay tuned.

Gerald Henderson (hip) left Monday's game in the fourth quarter and did not return.

Henderson has had two surgeries on his left hip in his career and he explained on Monday night that he is dealing with stiffness and soreness. The Sixers next game is Thursday and Henderson did say that he thinks he will be able to play. Henderson is not worthy of a roster spot in standard leagues. If he does miss time, Nik Stauskas would likely be the primary beneficiary.

Gerald Henderson scored 13 points with three rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Celtics on Saturday.

He picked up a nice amount of minutes from his 24.5 per game on the year, and just 19.5 in his previous two. Henderson is not really an offensive option and doesn't add stats in other areas, so he's not a great pickup.
Sat, Dec 3, 2016 11:20:00 PM

Gerald Henderson scored five points with one rebound in 19 minutes against the Bulls on Friday.

He's losing some playing time to guys like Hollis Thompson and Nik Stauskas. Henderson hasn't been a per-minute value in quite some time, so he's really going to need a few things to happen to have value in standard leagues or for DFS. He's trending down for even deep leagues.

Gerald Henderson (illness) will play Friday vs. the Bulls.

Henderson missed Wednesday's game vs. Memphis, but will return to play Chicago. Hollis Thompson gets bumped back to the bench. Nik Stauskas will also see his minutes reduced, after playing a season-high 43 on Wednesday.

Gerald Henderson (illness) is questionable for Friday's game vs. the Bulls.

Henderson did not play Wednesday vs. the Grizz. Hollis Thompson started in his place. However, it was Nik Stauskas who was the biggest beneficiary of Henderson's absence. Stauskas played a team-high 43 minutes on Wednesday. He's worth serious DFS consideration on Friday if Henderson doesn't play.
Fri, Nov 25, 2016 12:05:00 PM

Gerald Henderson (illness) will not play against the Grizzlies on Wednesday and Hollis Thompson will start.

He played through an illness and saw 32 minutes on Monday, so there is a big chunk of playing time available. Thompson can play both wing spots, so he should get minutes next Nik Stauskas at times. The hotter Sauce Castillo looks like the better short-term option. Henderson doesn't have much fantasy value.
