Patty Mills scored 17 points on 5-of-13 shooting Tuesday, to go with three 3-pointers, one rebound, five assists and one steal across 31 minutes.
Mills was perfect from the line, drilling all four of his freebies, and he also hit a very clutch 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to give the Spurs a two-point edge but the Clippers came roaring back with a series of clutch buckets by Lou Williams. The Spurs gave up 41 points through the final frame of action, which resulted in them dropping their sixth consecutive road game. Apr 4 - 2:14 AM

Patty Mills scored 25 points with two rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes against the Jazz on Friday.

He hit two important free throws to ice the game in overtime to put him just one shy of his season high for scoring. Mills has been all over the place with scoring and failed to score more than 14 points in any game since Feb. 24. He doesn't have a clear trend to when he performs well outside of being good in back-to-back sets, so he's a tough nut to crack in DFS.
Mar 23 - 11:43 PM

Patty Mills ended up with 14 points over 29 minutes in Saturday's home loss against the visiting Lakers.

Mills was 6-of-12 from the field, including 1-of-5 from behind the 3-point line, and he finished 1-of-1 from the free-throw line. He also added three assists and two rebounds with just two turnovers while posting a team-best plus-16 rating. He continues to make the most of his chance to start over Danny Green, and he is averaging 14.3 PPG, 3.8 APG and 2.8 RPG over the past four outings, and Mills is also averaging 2.0 3-pointers per outing across the past five.
Mar 4 - 12:21 AM

Patty Mills, Dejounte Murray, Kyle Anderson, Davis Bertans and Pau Gasol are listed as the starters for Saturday against the Lakers.

The Spurs will basically go with the same lineup as last game, but they'll be swapping in Gasol for LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle). Mills has been playing minutes in the upper 30s lately, so he should get a big opportunity again against an up-tempo Lakers team.
Mar 3 - 8:45 PM

Patty Mills is starting over Danny Green again on Wednesday against the Pelicans.

Coach Gregg Popovich will roll with the same lineup again and apparently it may stick. Green also came off the bench on Sunday with 23 minutes while Mills saw 35 minutes in the first unit. Expect both to be closer to 30 minutes in this game.
Feb 28 - 6:53 PM

Patty Mills will remain in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Cavs.

Danny Green (illness) will be coming off the bench in his return from a one-game absence, so while Mills will remain a starter, he likely won't play quite as many minutes with Green available. Joining Mills in the starting five will be Dejounte Murray, Kyle Anderson, LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol.

Patty Mills started at shooting guard and scored 21 points in 33 minutes vs. the Nuggets on Friday.

Danny Green sat out after eating some bad spaghetti and Mills made the most of his minutes. He hit 7-of-13 shots and 3-of-4 free throws, adding five assists, four rebounds, one steal and four triples in 33 minutes. Mills was cold coming into tonight's contest with a combined 15 points in his last three games, but he'll be a streaming option on Sunday vs. Cleveland if Green is out again. Manu Ginobili's (chest) status is now in doubt as well.
Feb 24 - 12:40 AM

Patty Mills will start alongside Dejounte Murray on Friday vs. the Nuggets.

Danny Green is sitting out after eating some bad spaghetti. We're not kidding either. Mills will get a short-term bump in value, but is only worth a look if you're streaming 3-pointers, assists and steals.
Feb 23 - 9:13 PM

Patty Mills made the start Saturday at Golden State, but he ended up with just seven points across 18 minutes.

Mills hit just 3-of-10 from the field, including 1-of-5 from behind the 3-point line, and he seems to look a lot more comfortable coming off of the bench. The good news is he did not turn the ball over, but he also didn't contribute much in the way of the other offensive categories, either. Even with Dejounte Murray and Tony Parker out, Mills posted a rather underwhelming line.
Feb 10 - 11:08 PM

Patty Mills is starting vs. Golden State on Saturday night.

Coach Gregg Popovich joked that he should be allowed to start six guys with Derrick White also as an option -- White will come off the bench. Mills should be looking at huge minutes tonight with Dejounte Murray and Tony Parker out, but he's more of a lukewarm pickup.
Feb 10 - 7:15 PM

Patty Mills finished Wednesday's game with 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting, making 5-of-7 triples with three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in just 17 minutes.

Dejounte Murray (sprained left ankle) exited tonight's game early after a scary fall. He took his free throws and seems to have avoided serious damage, but we'll keep an eye out for updates in the next 48 hours -- the Spurs aren't going to take any chances with one of their young building blocks. Mills and Tony Parker are the clear beneficiaries if Murray does miss time, so keep an eye on the injury report prior to Saturday's game vs. Golden State.
Feb 8 - 1:43 AM

Patty Mills ended up with 11 points, two assists and a rebound over 23 minutes off the bench in Saturday's loss against the Jazz.

Mills has seen his playing time steadily settle into the 20-24 minutes neighborhood, but his production has been rather erratic. He remains a low-upside fantasy play in most deeper formats.
Feb 4 - 12:27 AM

Patty Mills scored four points with two rebounds, two assists and one turnover in 24 minutes against the Rockets on Thursday.

He did start the second half, but Mills won't see his role change too much regardless of who he plays next to. He's a low-upside deep player in fantasy.
Feb 2 - 12:17 AM

Patty Mills scored 13 points vs. the Raptors on Friday, but hit just 4-of-14 shots.

Tony Parker couldn't get anything going offensively, so we saw a lot of Mills and Dejounte Murray tonight. Mills played 28 minutes in the loss, adding four rebounds, one assist and one triple. Kawhi Leonard (quad) is out indefinitely, Rudy Gay (heel) is a couple weeks away and Manu Ginobili (bruised thigh) is day-to-day, so Mills will continue to benefit in their absence. He's still just a low-end option if you need triples and a handful of dimes.
Jan 19 - 9:45 PM

Patty Mills scored 25 points with two rebounds, two assists, three steals and a career-high seven 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the Nets on Wednesday.

He was 7-of-10 from the field, including his 7-of-8 from beyond the arc. Mills' numbers have trended down since November, so now he'll likely see Mills hit double-digit scoring more often while Kawhi Leonard (quad) is out. His upside still isn't high enough to warrant a pickup in most fantasy leagues.
