Patty Mills played 16 minutes and hit 2-of-6 shots and two 3-pointers for eight points, three rebounds, one assist and a steal on Tuesday.
Mills was playing very well coming into this one and offers some intrigue due to Manu Ginobili's surgery, but as long as he's coming off the bench for Gregg Popovich, new owners have to realize that nights like this one could happen more often than they'd like. He's still worth a deep-league grab with Manu out, but he's not an automatic starter. Feb 10 - 12:06 AM

Patty Mills scored 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting Friday to go with two 3-pointers and four rebounds in 15 minutes of floor time.

Mills could have some more minutes falling his way with Manu Ginobili (testicular surgery) set to spend at least the next month on the sidelines, but he's not much more than a 3-point specialist in deep leagues.
Feb 6 - 2:05 AM

Patty Mills scored a season-high 22 points with four rebounds, five assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in just 21 minutes against the Magic on Monday.

This comes out of nowhere with only four points on Saturday. Mills hasn't been great these days and managed to make just 34.6 percent from the field in January. He'll need to do it a few more times to be considered as a pickup.
Feb 2 - 12:54 AM

Patty Mills did not score in a start against the Jazz on Wednesday, adding two assists and one steal in 23 minutes.

He hasn't fared well in his two starts and only scored 10 on Monday. Mills hasn't really gained much value with Tony Parker (hip) out, so even owners in deep leagues can probably cut him for almost anyone else.
Jan 7 - 1:01 AM

Patty Mills will start Wednesday vs. the Jazz, with Tony Parker (sore right hip) unavailable.

Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, David West and Tim Duncan will join Mills in the starting five for tonight's game. Mills can fill it up when given the minutes, so he's someone to consider as a punt play in DFS with a favorable matchup against Utah.

Patty Mills started at point guard on Monday vs. the Bucks, scoring 10 points on 3-of-7 shooting with five assists, one board and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

He probably would've played a little more, but the game was a blowout. It's unclear if Tony Parker (hip) will have to miss any more time, but Mills is worth a speculative pickup if you need short-term production. Prior to Monday, Mills was averaging 8.4 points, 2.5 assists, 1.9 boards. 1.0 steals and 1.4 3-pointers in 20.7 minutes per game.
Jan 4 - 10:25 PM

Patty Mills will start at point guard on Monday vs. the Bucks.

Tony Parker (sore right hip) could be looking at some time on the shelf, so Mills could have some nice short-term value. Mills is averaging 8.4 points, 2.5 assists, 1.9 boards. 1.0 steals and 1.4 3-pointers in 20.7 minutes per game this season.
Jan 4 - 6:45 PM

Patty Mills provided a spark off the bench for San Antonio on Friday, tallying 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting with three 3-pointers, three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one turnover in just 22 minutes of action.

Mills saw some increased opportunity tonight with Tony Parker (rest) on the sidelines, and he took full advantage of a favorable matchup with the Lakers. However, with Parker set to return to the active roster for Saturday's matchup with the Hawks, there's no reason to pickup Mills in most leagues.

Patty Mills led all Spurs' reserves with 13 points on Wednesday, hitting 5-of-11 shots with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes.

"We are not good offensively, and may not be until March," Gregg Popovich said on Tuesday. "Offense will take a while. We have a lot of guys getting used to each other, and how to play together." Mills is one guy who can light it up in a hurry, though he's not a standard-league fantasy option while Tony Parker is healthy.

Patty Mills broke out of a mini-slump to score 17 points vs. the Nuggets, hitting 7-of-15 shots with three 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

Mills added six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block, combining with Tony Parker to score 42 points in the Spurs' sixth consecutive win. Give Mills a look if you need a low-end source of 3-pointers, assists and steals.

Patty Mills scored five points on 2-of-11 from the field against the 76ers on Saturday with one rebound, one assist, three steals and one 3-pointer.

That's a letdown for a lot of DFS owners with Manu Ginobili (groin) and Kawhi Leonard (illness) out. He should have a better game the next time Manu needs to miss a game.

Patty Mills scored a season-high 15 points against the Hornets on Saturday, adding two rebounds, four assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in just 19 minutes.

He isn't lighting up the box score in 21.1 minutes per game, but credit to Mills for his effective field goal percentage of 72.9 -- that's higher than Stephen Curry. Mills obviously won't keep this up and he's not worth owning in most leagues, but keep him in mind when Tony Parker starts to wear down.

Patty Mills (rest) will not play on Tuesday vs. the Suns.

He is simply getting the night off and there is no injury to report. Mills will be extremely valuable to the Spurs' second unit this season and would be an interesting fantasy option if Tony Parker goes down.
Tue, Oct 20, 2015 08:11:00 PM

Patty Mills started in place of Tony Parker (sore ankle) on Sunday vs. the Pistons and scored just eight points on 2-of-10 shooting.

Mills also recorded two assists, two steals and 3-pointer, but he obviously wasn't great. Mills was disappointing last season because it took him a while to get over his shoulder injury, but he should find his touch soon. Mills will be an interesting player to watch if Parker goes down this season.
Sun, Oct 18, 2015 07:22:00 PM

Patty Mills is happy about his growing role with the Spurs.

"The role I have now with the Spurs has grown and not just by my teammates but the whole organization and I'm realizing it now where I don't think I did before," Mills said. With Tony Parker no longer capable of playing the role he once did and Cory Joseph having departed to the Raptors in free agency, Mills' importance will grow to the Spurs and fantasy owners for the 2015-16 season.
