DaJuan Summers will sign with BC Budivelnyk in Ukraine, according to Sportando.
He played for the Clippers last year, scoring exactly two points in two appearances all season, and he either didn't draw interest in the NBA as a free agent or preferred a bigger role overseas. Summers is still only 25 years old. Wed, Jul 31, 2013 11:12:00 AM

Clippers waive F DaJuan Summers.

He played just seven minutes with the Clippers last season after averaging 13.9 minutes per game in 15 contests with the Pistons in 2011-12. Summers will play on the Clippers' Summer League roster in Las Vegas.

Clippers re-sign F DaJuan Summers for the rest of the season.

Summers' last four blurbs, including this one, have all been in relation to his contracts, which should tell you everything you need to know about his fantasy value. Summers has appeared in two games for the Clips, averaging 1.0 points and 1.0 rebounds in 3.5 minutes per game.

Clippers re-sign F DaJuan Summers to another 10-day contract.

This is the first blurb he's received since initially signing with the Clippers, illustrating his fantasy value in every format.

Clippers sign F DaJuan Summers to a 10-day contract.

Summers is extra depth while Caron Butler (elbow) is on the shelf and is no lock to stick beyond the initial deal.

The Clippers plan to sign F DaJuan Summers.

He's a 6'8" forward and has been playing well with the Maine Red Claws in the D-League, averaging 18.0 points and 7.6 boards in 29 games. The Clippers are likely making this move as emergency depth with Caron Butler dealing with an elbow injury. There's minimal fantasy impact here and he probably won't be on the team for longer than 10 days.

DaJuan Summers has signed with the Maine Red Claws of the D-League.

Summers will attempt to use the D-League in order to restart his NBA career.

Hornets waived G/F DaJuan Summers and G Carldell Johnson on Tuesday.

Summers actually made a couple starts, but neither player had any fantasy relevance this season.

DaJuan Summers was inactive for Monday's game against the Kings after having his right knee drained of fluid.

Those watching Greivis Vasquez like a hawk will be happy to learn that Marco Belinelli's return to the starting lineup was a necessity with Vasquez starting at PG for injured Jarrett Jack (knee). Summers started at SG for the past week, but never gained any traction and has no fantasy value.

DaJuan Summers started at shooting guard again for the Hornets on Thursday, scoring seven points on 3-of-5 shooting (including a three) with one rebound and two assists in 13 minutes.

Summers put up a similar line on Wednesday, and will need to cross the 20-minute threshold before we pay him much attention.

DaJuan Summers will start for the second straight night at shooting guard on Thursday against the Spurs.

The means Marco Belinelli will come off the bench again. Summers played just 15 minutes last night, but did manage five points including a 3-pointer. Neither is a particularly appealing fantasy option right now.

DaJuan Summers started at shooting guard on Wednesday but had just five points in 15 minutes.

Greivis Vasquez went off for 20 points and 12 assists off the bench, and is the guy to pick up after Marco Belinelli's demotion.

DaJuan Summers will surprisingly start at shooting guard over Marco Belinelli on Wednesday.

Belinelli's been struggling all season and the Hornets are going to try some new blood. Maybe this will get Belinelli going, but Summers is not a guy owners in most leagues will want to target.

DaJuan Summers replaced Al-Farouq Aminu as Trevor Ariza's fill in at small forward on Friday, scoring 11 points and grabbing one rebound before fouling out in 27 minutes.

Aminu played just eight minutes and scored two points, but both of these guys should be back on the bench once Ariza is over his groin injury. If you own Aminu, go ahead and drop him for a hot free agent.

DaJuan Summers will start at small forward against the Wolves on Friday, sending Al-Farouq Aminu back to a bench role.

Drafted in the second round in 2009, Summers has yet to make an impact at the NBA level. He can do a little bit of everything but isn't excellent at any one facet of his game, and had a quick trigger shooting the ball before he got to the NBA. It's definitely wait-and-see time for him in fantasy leagues, while Aminu will likely be on the waiver wire wherever he has been grabbed by the end of the night.
