Darren Collison scored 14 points with four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes against the Blazers on Friday.
He's had a lot of success in pick-and-roll so far this year and he's right in his wheelhouse with minutes in the low 30s. Collison won't have many "wow" games like his 21-point, 11-dime opener, but he has an excellent chance to be a mid-round player in standard leagues. Oct 20 - 10:22 PM

Darren Collison had an impressive debut for the Pacers, contributing 21 points, 11 assists, three rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes.

DC made 9-of-12 shots with one 3-pointer as Indiana hung 140 points against the visiting Nets. We won't go overboard after one nice game vs. a bad defense, but there's no reason Collison can't hold top-100 value in a 30-minute role for Indy.
Oct 18 - 11:17 PM

Darren Collison picked up seven steals against the Bucks on Wednesday, adding 10 points, three rebounds, five assists and two 3-pointers in 22 minutes.

His last stint with the Pacers didn't go well, but this time around he's in a very favorable spot to produce. He won't get much competition from guys like Joe Young, so Collison should still get minutes in the low 30s on a team preaching pace. He'll be sliding into the later rounds of drafts, so give him a look as a No. 2 or 3 point guard for your team.
Oct 4 - 10:48 PM

Darren Collison has agreed to a two-year deal with the Pacers worth $20 million.

The Pacers now have their starting point guard for the 2017-18 season. Collison had a nice couple seasons with the Pacers earlier in his career, so he should feel comfortable there. Paired with Victor Oladipo in the backcourt, expect this Indiana team to push the pace next season. Collison averaged 13.2 points, 4.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 3-pointers with the Kings in 2016-17, so he's capable of posting mid-round numbers fantasy numbers in the right situation.
Jul 3 - 8:05 PM

The Knicks have reached out to both Rajon Rondo and Darren Collison, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.

The Knicks, who are desperate to add a veteran point guard, have seemingly been in contact with nearly all decent, available PG's remaining on the open market. Collison has been solid, if unspectacular, since entering the league in 2009. Last season, he started 64 games for the Kings, averaging 13.2 points, 4.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 3-pointers, while shooting 47.6 percent from the floor, 41.7 percent from downtown and 86.0 percent from the free-throw line.
Jul 1 - 1:26 PM

Darren Collison (migraine) will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday.

He will not play in the final three games to close his season. Collison was somewhat effective when he wasn't getting rest after the break, averaging 12.1 points, 2.6 boards, 5.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 treys in his final 19 games. With him and Ty Lawson out, it should be Langston Galloway and Tyreke Evans playing some point guard.
Apr 12 - 5:31 PM

Darren Collison (migraine), Arron Afflalo (rest), Tyreke Evans (rest) and Kosta Koufos (rest) have all been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Phoenix.

This will be Collison's second straight game on the sidelines, and there are no guarantees he'll be back in action for the Kings' regular-season finale against the Clippers on Wednesday. With all these guys unavailable, Ty Lawson and Buddy Hield figure to log heavy minutes, and both those guys are on the DFS radar with a favorable and uptempo matchup against Phoenix.

The Kings will rest Darren Collison, Tyreke Evans, Arron Afflalo and Kosta Koufos on Sunday vs. the Rockets.

This will be Collison's fourth maintenance day since March, so his fantasy owners probably moved on already. Ty Lawson will get the bulk of the PG minutes and will be out for revenge against his former team.
Apr 9 - 1:36 PM

Darren Collison returned from a rest day and scored 15 points with 10 assists, five rebounds, one steal and one triple in 28 minutes vs. the Lakers on Friday.

Collison has rested in three games since March, so another DNP could be on the table in the final three games of the season. The Kings do have a back-to-back set on Tuesday vs. the Suns (home game) and Wednesday vs. the Clippers on the road, so his owners should have a backup plan ready.
Apr 8 - 1:43 AM

Darren Collison, Arron Afflalo, Buddy Hield, Skal Labissiere and Willie Cauley-Stein are starting vs. the Lakers on Friday.

Hield, Skal and WCS are the only starters that don't have to worry about maintenance days as the Kings continue to tank.
Apr 7 - 10:44 PM

Darren Collison is resting vs. the Mavericks on Tuesday.

Ty Lawson is also getting the night off to "rest," which basically means the Kings' front office really wants to lose this game. Look for Tyreke Evans, Garrett Temple and Langston Galloway to run the offense, but they are very difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.
Apr 4 - 8:38 PM

Collison scored a team-high 23 points with seven assists and four rebounds in Monday's 91-90 win against the Grizzlies.

Collison helped give head coach Dave Joerger a much-wanted victory against his former team. The veteran coach has leaned upon Collison heavily down the stretch, as he has been a constant in the ever-changing starting lineup since the team dealt DeMarcus Cousins to New Orleans.
Mar 28 - 1:17 AM

Darren Collison started Sunday's game and had 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting with four assists, one board and one steal in 28 minutes.

DC was rested on Friday and the random DNPs make it hard to trust him in critical situations for fantasy purposes. He got a boost tonight with Ty Lawson (stiff knee) ruled out at the last minute, but it doesn't sound like Lawson will miss too much time with the injury. It's worth noting that DC was also riding the bench while Langston Galloway (six points, three assists in 25 minutes) played PG during the Kings' huge run to steal this win in L.A.
Mar 26 - 7:01 PM

Darren Collison (rest) will return to the starting five for Sunday's matchup with the Clippers.

This could mean that Ty Lawson will be returning to the second unit, and his value figures to take a hit with Collison active. In his two games against the Clippers this season, Collison has compiled averages of 18.0 points, 2.0 triples, 3.5 boards, 2.0 assists and just 1.0 turnover per contest on 58.3 percent shooting, so feel free to get him active.
Mar 26 - 3:24 PM

Darren Collison, Tyreke Evans and Anthony Tolliver are all out for planned rest against the Warriors on Friday.

This is pretty much status quo for the Kings as they get a look at their youth. Ty Lawson should get big minutes in the first unit while the Kings piece it together in the second unit. Collison isn't worth owning now that he's basically resting every other game.
