Darren Collison scored 10 points off the bench against the Wolves on Friday with one rebound, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 23 minutes.
He got destroyed on a pick from Gorgui Dieng in the fourth quarter, but he seems to be OK. Collison has some low-end value in standard leagues, so give him a look if you need a point guard. You can check out the pick in the link below. Nov 28 - 3:02 AM

Darren Collison scored 18 points against the Bucks on Wednesday with two rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

The Kings ran an air-tight, eight-man rotation, so there were good stats to go all around. Collison has a nice fantasy floor and he's been logging about 10 minutes per game at shooting guard right now. He's worth a look in standard leagues if you need a well-balanced guard.
Nov 26 - 12:02 AM

Darren Collison played 29 minutes against the Hornets on Monday with seven points, three rebounds, four assists and one turnover.

He is in a slump since his return, making 5-of-22 from the field in his last two games combined. Coach George Karl really likes to use Collison and he's getting a nice amount of run at shooting guard. There's really no need to add him right now, but he certainly has the upside to have value in standard leagues.
Nov 23 - 11:26 PM

Darren Collison will come off the bench for Monday's game against the Hornets.

Rudy Gay (shoulder) will return to action and will draw the start at small forward, so this isn't too big of a surprise. Kings head coach George Karl said that he liked how Collison played as a starter, but also added that he wants him to lead the second unit for now. Collison should still see close to 30 minutes off the bench, so owners in standard leagues should hold onto him and see how this plays out.
Nov 23 - 5:59 PM

Darren Collison started at shooting guard on Saturday against the Magic with nine points on 2-of-11 from the field, two rebounds, one assist, three steals and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

The Kings staggered his minutes a little bit with Rajon Rondo to give Collison six minutes as the backup point guard. While the output wasn't there, the high minute total is encouraging for Collison. He's more of a late-round player with limited upside, but he's worth owning in standard leagues while Rudy Gay (shoulder) is out.
Nov 21 - 8:23 PM

Darren Collison will start against the Magic on Saturday next to Rajon Rondo and Ben McLemore.

Presumably, the Kings will give Collison the C.J. McCollum treatment and stagger his minutes with Rondo, which is good news for both Rondo and Collison. Both players are worth using in DFS tonight and Collison is worth owning in standard leagues.
Nov 21 - 3:54 PM

Darren Collison scored nine points in 21 minutes against the Heat on Thursday, adding just one assist.

Rajon Rondo looked great and Ben McLemore was in a groove, so Collison's playing time came down from his 28-minute outing on Wednesday. He should have better games than this one, especially if Rudy Gay needs to miss time.
Nov 19 - 10:26 PM

Darren Collison returned to the lineup on Wednesday against the Hawks with seven points, two rebounds, five assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes.

He didn't appear to be limited after missing almost two weeks. Collison was playing some of his best basketball of the season before his injury and coach George Karl even benched Rajon Rondo in most of the second half in the last game Collison was healthy. He should be owned in standard leagues.
Nov 18 - 10:32 PM

Darren Collison (hamstring) will play against the Hawks on Wednesday.

There is no word on if he'll be limited, but we probably won't see 48 minutes of Rajon Rondo. Collison was outplaying Rondo in a big way before the injury, so we'll see what happens tonight. Collison is worth a look in standard leagues.
Nov 18 - 6:51 PM

Darren Collison (left hamstring strain) will travel with the Kings for Wednesday's game in Atlanta, and George Karl is optimistic that he'll be able to play.

"My gut says he’s going to play Wednesday," Karl said. "I think he’d be saying that too." This is great news for DC's owners -- prior to getting hurt he was running hot, averaging 17.7 points, 2.0 threes, 5.3 assists and 1.0 steals in three November games. His return will likely put a dent in Rajon Rondo's production and playing time, while ensuring that Seth Curry doesn't leave the bench.
Nov 16 - 2:42 AM

Darren Collison (hamstring) is targeting a return to the lineup on Wednesday against Atlanta.

Collison hasn't played since Nov. 6 and has already been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Raptors. Hamstring injuries are tricky, so it's obvious why the Kings are being cautious with him and his owners can look forward to having him back in their lineups next week. Rajon Rondo will likely soak up all the point guard minutes while Ben McLemore will get some more playing time as well.
Nov 15 - 7:27 PM

Darren Collison (hamstring) is doubtful to play in Sunday's game vs. the Raptors.

If Collison is unable to give it a go on Sunday, look for Rajon Rondo's minutes to again eclipse the 40-minute mark, with Marco Belinelli getting some extended run. Rondo has triple-doubled in three of his four past outings, and he could very well do that again on Sunday, making him an intriguing play in daily leagues.
Nov 15 - 2:58 PM

Darren Collison (hamstring) is getting closer to a return.

This is a little vague and he should be considered questionable for Sunday. Collison was outplaying Rajon Rondo big time and he even basically made coach George Karl bench Rondo for the second half of the last game Collison was healthy.
Nov 14 - 3:01 PM

Darren Collison (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Nets.

Collison's next opportunity to play will come Sunday vs. the Raptors, and we'll be considering him questionable for that one. With Collison out, look for Rajon Rondo to log massive minutes, with Marco Belinelli also seeing some extended run.
Nov 12 - 4:37 PM

Darren Collison (hamstring) could miss Friday's game vs. Brooklyn.

There was a report from Tuesday that he could be back soon, but that is really the only optimistic report since Collison played through his hamstring strain last week. If he's out, we'll see a heavy dose of Rajon Rondo and maybe some Seth Curry (ankle).
