Roddy Beaubois has declined the Mavericks training camp invitation.

The Mavericks reportedly offered Beaubois a three-year partially guaranteed contract for the veteran's minimum, but the 28-year-old is instead reportedly close to signing a deal with Saski Baskonia of Spain. While Beaubois showed promise as a rookie in 2009-10, he won't have any fantasy relevance if he heads overseas.

Roddy Beaubois is reportedly nearing an agreement to sign with Saski Baskonia of Spain.

Beaubois has reportedly declined Dallas' offer to come stateside and compete for a roster spot during training camp, and at 28 years old, he may have already played his final game in an NBA uniform.

The Mavs are reportedly still in talks with Roddy Beaubois to bring him to Dallas and compete for a roster spot during training camp.

The former first-round talent showed flashes of potential during his four years in the league, but various injuries kept his career from ever taking off. If Beaubois does manage to make the Mavs' opening night roster, he wouldn't be anything more than an emergency depth kind of guy, and wouldn't be worth drafting in most leagues.

Roddy Beaubois is expected to receive legitimate consideration for a roster spot in Dallas, sources told ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

It's been a weird week in the NBA. Even if Beaubois does latch on and kick off a Roddy Buckets reunion tour, it's not a guarantee he'll make it to opening night. Beaubois, now 28, is rehabbing this summer and spent last season playing in France.

Roddy Beaubois (personal) will not play at summer league.

It would have been fun, but oh well. Beaubois is pure chaos when he's on the court, but he's fun to watch and can fill it up when he's on.

Roddy Beaubois will join the Wizards for Las Vegas Summer League.

Vegas just got a little more exciting. Beaubois plays with a ton of energy, but injuries may have cut his career short. He scored 40 points in a game during his rookie season in 2011, but he's past his prime now.

Roddy Beaubois has signed with LeMans of the French League.

The 26-year-old has struggled with injuries over the course of his NBA career and hasn't played a game since the 2012-13 season. Beaubois has the talent to hook on with an NBA team if he can resurrect his career in France, but will finish his NBA era with averages of 7.1 points, 0.7 3-pointers, 1.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 0.7 steals if this is the last we see of him in the U.S.

Free agent guard Rodrigue Beaubois will soon try out for the French team Paris-Levallois.

The oft-injured 26-year-old said that his priority is finding a team willing to give him significant playing time. It's mildly surprising that no NBA team would even give him a 10-day contract, but hopefully he can stay healthy overseas and try his luck again during training camp and the preseason.

The Celtics worked out free agent G Rodrigue Beaubois on Tuesday, according to

The 26-year-old combo guard has fully recovered from his latest hand surgery and he had a "strong showing" with the Celtics, but it's unclear whether Boston was impressed enough to give him a 10-day contract.

Free agent guard Rodrigue Beaubois is fully healthy and will begin working out for NBA teams late next week, according to

The Grizzlies and Wizards are among the teams to have expressed interest in Beaubois. He's shown flashes of explosive scoring ability but his career with the Mavericks got off to a rough start thanks to injuries, including three hand surgeries. The 25-year-old is healthy now and should find a niche playing a handful of minutes off a playoff contender's bench.

Mavs GM Donnie Nelson said Wednesday it's unlikely Roddy Beaubois would return.

"It’s probably in his best interest to find a better opportunity out there," Nelson said. This isn't surprising considering the team declined to make him a qualifying offer. We haven't heard much regarding interest in Beaubois around the league.

Rodrigue Beaubois is an unrestricted free agent after the Mavericks declined to make him a qualifying offer.

We've heard very little about teams interested in signing Beaubois, who has SG skills but a PG body (6'2", 182 lbs) and hasn't been able to stay healthy in his brief NBA career. For what it's worth, Bucks writer Frank Madden notes that Milwaukee "almost dealt for Beaubois" at last year's trade deadline.

Roddy Beaubois underwent successful hand surgery on Wednesday and is out for the season.

The odds of Beaubois returning are "extremely slim," so we'll consider him out for the season for all intents and purposes. Beaubois will be a free agent in the offseason, and it's hard to see him returning to the Mavs. Dallas will roll with Mike James and Darren Collison at point guard.

Updating a previous report, Rodrigue Beaubois is out indefinitely after fracturing the second metacarpal in his left hand.

This is awful news. Roddy played a great game off the bench on Friday, earning rare praise from Rick Carlisle, but injuries have been a plague throughout his brief career. It's doubtful that he'll return this season and it's anyone's guess where he'll sign as a soon-to-be free agent.
