Jon Brockman's eye injury was "severe" enough that he's not expected to practice at all this week.

Brockman's absence at camp is somewhat alarming, since he hurt himself in a freak accident way back on Sept. 10, when an elastic stretching band slipped off his foot and whipped him in the eye. Every day he misses makes it more likely Patrick Patterson will hang onto the starting PF job.

Jon Brockman (eye) has not yet arrived to training camp.

Brockman was hospitalized in early September with a right eye injury before being released, and he's likely just in the latter stages of recovery. Since no surgery was required, Brockman should be cleared to play before too long.

Jon Brockman was recently hospitalized due to a right eye injury, but he has been released and is expected to make a full recovery.

Brockman was stretching with an elastic band and was injured when the taut band slipped off his foot. There is no timetable for his return, but surgery was not required and it sounds like he'll be ready for Rockets training camp.

Jon Brockman was traded from the Bucks to the Rockets as part of Wednesday's four-player swap.

Brockman could give Houston some blue-collar minutes off the bench, but his acquisition was more about the Rockets gaining financial flexibility and draft leverage. The 6'7" power forward is owed a flat $1 million this season, after which he'll be an unrestricted FA.

Jon Brockman (bruised eye) returned to action for the Bucks on Sunday.

The burly PF had just two points in eight minutes, and it all came in garbage time. He's not a fantasy asset.

Bucks big man Jon Brockman left Saturday's game with a bruised left eye.

Brockman is averaging four minutes in four appearances this season, so his absence (should he miss any games) will hardly be felt.

Jon Brockman has fully recovered from offseason ankle surgery to remove bone spurs.

The backup big man is a solid per-minute rebounder, but isn't likely to have fantasy value even in deeper formats after averaging just 2.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game last season.

Bucks coach Scott Skiles announced on Saturday that Jon Brockman will miss the remainder of the season with a separated shoulder.

Awful timing for Brockman and the Bucks, right after Andrew Bogut went out for the year, but such is life in the NBA.

Jon Brockman (shoulder) will not play on Saturday against the Cavs.

Typically, the news comes not from Milwaukee reporters, but instead from the fine folks in Cleveland. We will let you know who will start in his place as soon, but Drew Gooden looks like a decent play tonight, and Larry Sanders could make some noise if he is named the starter.

Bucks big man Jon Brockman re-injured his left shoulder during Friday's game and left after logging just 11 minutes.

With Andrew Bogut already out for the season, the Bucks will turn to Drew Gooden and Larry Sanders for heavy minutes at center.

Jon Brockman returned after missing four games with a shoulder injury Friday and started, but finished the loss with just zero points and six boards in 11 minutes.

With Andrew Bogut shut down for the year we'd like to think Larry Sanders is worth a look, but he had just four points, three boards and two blocks in 13 minutes tonight.

Jon Brockman (shoulder) will be available for Tuesday's game against the Magic.

Brockman sprained his left (non-shooting) shoulder last Wednesday. He's averaging 10.6 minutes per game on the season.

Bucks forward Jon Brockman (sprained left shoulder) was injured during Milwaukee's victory on Wednesday and is expected to miss Friday's game.

Brockman hasn't been a big part of the rotation anyway, especially with Drew Gooden healthy. At least while he recovers he'll have more time to contemplate trick shots.

Jon Brockman left Wednesday night's game against the Raptors after crashing into the basketball standard as a result of a flagrant foul committed by Toronto point guard Jerryd Bayless.

Brockman stayed in the game and missed two free throws before coming out and heading to the locker room. He's currently being evaluated and further thins the Bucks' front line as the team was already without Larry Sanders. Andrew Bogut is going to get all the of the action that he can handle and should make his owners happy.
