Jonas Jerebko didn't really build off a solid performance on Saturday, scoring 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting with four rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Jerebko didn't play bad but he wasn't able to push himself into the 12-team discussion tonight. It could happen at some point, and 26 minutes off the bench is a solid amount of run so keep an eye on him. Jan 12 - 10:26 PM

Jonas Jerebko hit a dagger 3-pointer against the Nets on Saturday, finishing with 11 points, seven rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

His minutes were down before tonight with an average of just 15.7 per game over his previous three. Jerebko does have a lot of potential because he hits treys and is decent in steals, but it's hard to grab him until he gets regular minutes.
Jan 10 - 10:34 PM

Jonas Jerebko played 25 minutes off Detroit's bench on Sunday but scored only three points on 1-of-4 shooting, with three rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Jerebko's lone field goal came from downtown and he's still an intriguing fantasy player in deep formats, but standard-league owners should look elsewhere for upside. Jodie Meeks led Detroit's bench with 13 points, and Caron Butler added eight points, two assists and two steals to help the Pistons earn their fifth straight victory.
Jan 4 - 8:36 PM

Jonas Jerebko scored seven points on 2-of-2 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds and one steal in 21 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Jerebko has flashed low-end fantasy value since Josh Smith left town, returning late-round value on the strength of serviceable contributions across the board. He's trending upward and is well worth a look in 12-team formats despite the small sample size.

Jonas Jerebko said the Pistons are "trusting each other" during their recent 2-0 stretch.

Most two-game winning streaks aren't notable, but the team is 2-0 since parting with Josh Smith & Detroit has just seven wins all season. "It was a statement game for us," Jerebko said. "This is how we want to play." Jerebko is back in the rotation having exceeded 20 minutes in three of his last four games, but he's going to need garbage time production to become anything more than a low-end play at this point.

Jonas Jerebko finished Sunday's easy road win with 10 points, two 3-pointers, seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.

Greg Monroe is the most obvious winner with Josh Smith no longer in Detroit, but his departure also clears more playing time for Jerebko off the bench. Anthony Tolliver could dent Jerebko's production once he's activated, but deep-league owners should consider speculatively adding Jerebko in case he maintains a 25-30 minute role as a primary reserve.

Jonas Jerebko played 28 minutes as expected on Friday with 10 points, six rebounds, three assists, one block and one 3-pointer.

It was a solid game with seven field goal attempts. Garbage time was not really a factor and Jerebko should see minutes in the mid-20s off the bench. He is worth a look in deep leagues for his production in treys, points, boards and occasional defense.

Jonas Jerebko is ready for a larger role with the Pistons with the departure of Josh Smith.

"Obviously, with a 4 man gone - I see myself as a 4 man - a lot more minutes open up in practice and in games," Jerebko said. "I feel like I'm ready to take that step and I'm ready to go in there and battle for them." Jerebko was buried on the bench while Smith was with the team, but now he'll likely be one of the first bigs off the bench. We’ll be monitoring coach Stan Van Gundy’s rotations closely over the coming weeks, and owners in standard leagues can use a wait-and-see approach with Jerebko.

Stan Van Gundy praised Jonas Jerebko's play during a recent interview.

"He's really focused on moving the ball and running to more pick and rolls, so our ball movement is much, much better with Jonas at the four than it is with our other guys," Van Gundy said. "He's just more tuned in to that. And he can stretch the floor out and shoot the ball, so you spread the defense out. And, really, with him at the four is our only chance to spread the defense out and get more room." Jerebko is averaging just 7.0 points and 2.7 rebounds over 16.5 minutes of action this season, so he can't be considered an asset in standard leagues. However, if an injury occurs to the Pistons' frontcourt, Jerebko will be a name to monitor.

Stan Van Gundy said it was a "mistake" not to find minutes for Jonas Jerebko in Saturday's game.

"“I didn’'t find minutes for him and I think that was a mistake,"” he said. Jerebko is averaging just 15 minutes over two games right now and is not on the fantasy radar.

Jonas Jerebko came off the bench for 14 points, three rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers on 3-of-5 shooting in 20 minutes on Tuesday.

If Josh Smith lands in Stan Van Gundy's doghouse, which is a good bet, Jerebko could quickly become relevant this season. He's not worth drafting, but will be worth keeping an eye on throughout the season.

Jonas Jerbeko appears to be the 10th man in the rotation for the Pistons.

First, coach Stan Van Gundy has to expand his rotation to 10. Jerebko is not a lock for playing time and will probably need an injury to get minutes in the teens.

Jonas Jerebko could be the odd man out of the Pistons rotation, according to the team's website.

He's not really capable of playing small forward, so it'll be tough for him to get run with Josh Smith looking to get more run at power forward. Jerebko had a career-best season from beyond the arc, which will be a big factor in his outlook this season. He's not worth drafting in any league right now.

Jonas Jerebko said he's hoping to fill the role as a stretch four for the Pistons this season.

While coach Stan Van Gundy said Jerebko could be part of the team's core, it's not going to be easy with Josh Smith expected to get more run at power forward. Jerebko is only worth a late-round flier in deep leagues for now.

Jonas Jerebko was one of seven players Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy identified as the team's "core."

Van Gundy is pleased with Jerebko's development, both physically and mentally, and his ability to shoot from outside should endear him to his new coach. Jerebko struggled last season, playing only 11.6 minutes per game, but he shot 41.9 percent from downtown and is worth keeping in mind as a flier pick in fantasy drafts.
