Jonas Jerebko has agreed to a two-year, $8.2 million deal with Utah, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Boris Diaw's $7.5 million salary is fully non-guaranteed, and Derrick Favors' knee has been a persistent issue, so this gives Utah much-needed frontcourt depth. It's a solid move in reality, but he's a fringe fantasy option until we see how he's used by coach Quin Snyder. Jul 12 - 10:21 PM

The Pistons are reportedly interested in unrestricted free agent Jonas Jerebko.

Detroit has plenty of depth at the power forward spot, so it's somewhat confusing to see their reported interest in Jerebko. If Jerebko does wind up with the Pistons, he'd basically be an emergency depth kind of guy, devoid of any fantasy value.
Jul 11 - 3:37 PM

Jonas Jerebko was huge in 13 minutes off the bench on Sunday, scoring 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting with five rebounds, one assist, one block and a pair of 3-pointers.

Most of Jerebko's minutes came during a Boston run while LeBron James was resting, shifting the momentum toward the Celtics, and he was on the court to close out the game. The 6'10" Jerebko brought an aggressive energy for Boston off the bench, and based on tonight's success we expect him to earn solid minutes in Game 4 on Tuesday.
May 21 - 11:46 PM

Coach Brad Stevens hinted he could play Jonas Jerebko in Game 2 on Friday.

"I told him last night, there's a good chance that he'll be a big part of this," Stevens said. Tyler Zeller played for five minutes and it went terribly, posting a -54.5 net rating in that time. Stevens likes to use Jerebko next to Kelly Olynyk, so he could be the last man in the rotation.
May 18 - 5:44 PM

Jonas Jerebko scored six points with three rebounds in 10 minutes off the bench against the Bulls on Friday.

Coach Brad Stevens loves his Jerebko and Olynyk combo, so maybe that's why he didn't start Jerebko today. The JJ-KO combo was used for seven minutes in this win, so that will likely be a second-unit staple going forward. It'll be tough to use Jerebko in Game 4.
Apr 21 - 10:04 PM

Brad Stevens hinted that he may consider tweaking his starting lineup for Friday's Game 3 in Chicago.

"We’ve got to space [the floor] better than we have," Stevens said. "We’ve got to focus on our direction on drive and kicking. If we can’t get a finish, kicking it out and making the next right play for the next guy, then you’ve got to knock down shots." Amir Johnson has done a whole lot of nothing as Boston's starting four-man, and with Stevens emphasizing the need for better spacing, maybe he'll consider bringing Jonas Jerebko into the starting five as he did during last year's playoff run after falling into a 0-2 hole against Atlanta. Stay tuned.
Apr 20 - 11:40 AM

Jonas Jerebko (sore knee) played four scoreless minutes during Wednesday's home loss to the Bucks.

Jerebko has fallen out of the rotation for stretches, and even when he's playing he rarely gets more than 14-18 minutes. With the Celtics frontcourt at full strength, there's no reason to touch him in fantasy leagues.
Mar 29 - 11:30 PM

Jonas Jerebko (sore knee) will be available to play Wednesday vs. Milwaukee.

Jerebko will resume his limited bench role with Boston at full strength, meaning he's not going to be earning enough minutes tonight to matter in any setting.
Mar 29 - 6:01 PM

Jonas Jerebko was unable to finish practice on Tuesday due to a sore knee.

At this point, we have to consider Jerebko questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Bucks. The fantasy impact is minimal, as he is averaging just 11.1 minutes per game over his last four appearances. Kelly Olynyk and Tyler Zeller may see a few extra minutes if Jerebko does not play on Wednesday.
Mar 28 - 1:50 PM

Jonas Jerebko (flu) came off the bench on Wednesday with five points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in just 12 minutes.

Jerebko started with Al Horford (elbow) on the sidelines recently, but Horford was back tonight so Jerebko's role shrank accordingly. He's averaging 4.0 points as a starter and 4.1 points as a reserve and it's safe to conclude that he belongs on the waiver wire.
Mar 9 - 1:51 AM

Jonas Jerebko is available to play against the Warriors on Wednesday.

He was at shootaround and could get minutes. Coach Brad Stevens said that Jaylen Brown could play a little more, so Jerebko's playing time could come from the power forwards. That makes even more sense against a team like the Warriors. Jerebko is tough to trust in fantasy.
Mar 8 - 9:04 PM

Jonas Jerebko (flu) was at shootaround on Wednesday.

The extent of his participation isn't know, but an ill player usually doesn't go to shootaround to help prevent others from being sick. In other words, Jerebko may have a decent chance to play. With Jaylen Brown playing well, the Celtics will almost certainly go smaller more often against the shooting on the Warriors.
Mar 8 - 3:13 PM

Jonas Jerebko (flu) is out for Monday's game against the Clippers due to a bout with the flu.

With Jerebko on the shelf it is likely Jordan Mickey picks up a few minutes off the bench. Amir Johnson also might see a little more run than he typically gets. Jerebko will have a full day to rest before his team returns to action Wednesday at home against the Nets.
Mar 6 - 9:09 PM

Jonas Jerebko filled in for Al Horford (elbow) on Sunday, but he scored just one point with five rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes vs. Phoenix.

Amir Johnson started at center tonight, Kelly Olynyk played 22 minutes, and even Jordan Mickey logged nine minutes. Jerebko has been nowhere near holding fantasy value this season and Horford is just day-to-day, so this doesn't have lasting fantasy implications.
Mar 5 - 8:20 PM

Jonas Jerebko will start Sunday vs. the Suns, with Al Horford (elbow) unavailable.

Through five starts this season, Jerebko owns forgettable averages of 4.6 points, 6.4 boards and 1.0 triple per contest on 40.0 percent shooting, so he's still not a great target in most settings despite getting the start.
