The Raptors have extended a qualifying contract offer to Nando De Colo, making him a restricted free agent.
De Colo spent last year playing for CSKA Moscow where he won Euroleague MVP. If he were to join the Raptors, his role would be unclear with Cory Joseph and Delon Wright already behind Kyle Lowry at the point guard position, but he could find some minutes at the two behind DeMar DeRozan. Norman Powell and Terrence Ross are also in the mix for playing time. Jun 30 - 3:38 PM

Nando De Colo has signed a three-year contract with CSKA Moscow.

De Colo is fresh of winning the Euroleague championship with Moscow, in addition to coming home with Euroleague MVP award. Needless to say, his career in Europe has been significantly more successful than his two-year stint in the NBA, and he won’t be coming stateside any time soon.

CSKA Moscow would like to re-sign Nando De Colo.

De Colo is now a free agent after leading CSKA Moscow to the Euroleague final, but the team would like to retain his services. "We have said that we will talk with Nando de Colo after the end of the season," CSKA Moscow’s president Andrey Vatutin said. "He knows how much we want to keep him in Europe and in Moscow and we will do what we must." The Nuggets have expressed interest in signing the Frenchman, so we could see an overseas bidding war for De Colo's services.

The Nuggets are prepared to pursue Nando De Colo, sources told Eurohoops.net.

Per the report, Denver is willing to offer De Colo "the contract and the minutes that he would like to have in order to return to the NBA." D.J. Augustin is an unrestricted free agent while Jameer Nelson's future with the club is up in the air, so the reported in De Colo makes some sense on the surface.

Nando De Colo said he's happy playing in the Europe for now.

While DecColo would like to return to the NBA someday, he sounds content playing with CSKA Moscow for now. "I have not forgotten about the NBA," De Colo said. "It’s still in the back of my mind, but I will not go back just to go back. I have some experience behind me now, I know how it goes. If one day I return to NBA, it will be to have responsibilities, not just say I’m an NBA player. In that case, I prefer to stay in a big team in Europe." Needless to say, De Colo can be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues while he's playing in Russia.

Nando De Colo said he will re-test the NBA market after his current deal with CSKA Moscow expires.

De Colo could get another look stateside when the time comes, but he's likely to make more money and enjoy a larger role overseas than he would in the NBA.

Former Spurs guard Nando De Colo will miss the FIBA World Cup after breaking his left hand during an exhibition vs. Ukraine.

The 27-year-old is a member of France's national team, and his injury is magnified with Tony Parker already opting to skip the tournament. De Colo agreed to a deal with CSKA Moscow this summer and there's a chance that his NBA playing days are over.

Nando De Colo agreed on a deal with CSKA-Moscow.

He was a garbage-time special for the Spurs for a few seasons before being shipped to the Raptors at the trade deadline. De Colo's playing time in the NBA may be over and he'll be able to get some game action overseas.

Raptors backup guard Nando De Colo has reportedly received a $4 million, two-year offer to come play for Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow.

The Raptors made a qualifying offer to Nando of $1.8 million, but it wouldn't be shocking to him bolt for the type of money CSKA Moscow is offering. De Colo averaged 3.1 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists through nine minutes of action with the Raptors last season.

The Raptors made a qualifying offer to Nando De Colo to make him a restricted free agent.

He was traded by the Spurs this past season, so apparently De Colo was really holding them back. Kidding aside, he's unlikely to see a deal much larger than the qualifying offer of about $1.8 million.

Nando De Colo will be available to face the Magic on Sunday.

He's going to be the third point guard with the two guys ahead of him playing well in their roles, so there's no reason to think De Colo will be a factor. He can be ignored in all leagues.

Nando De Colo is dealing with visa issues and is not expected to be available until Sunday.

The Raptors have a should-be All-Star and a solid backup in Greivis Vasquez, so there's no need for De Colo to hurry. He has no fantasy value.

Spurs traded Nando De Colo to the Raptors for Austin Daye.

Even with Tony Parker sidelined, De Colo has been out of the rotation behind Cory Joseph and Patty Mills. He'll be a third point guard behind Kyle Lowry and Greivis Vasquez in Toronto.

Nando De Colo played 28 minutes off the bench against the Bobcats on Saturday with 15 points, two boards, two assists and one 3-pointer.

He was sporting his mask due to a nasal fracture on Thursday and he's been effective since the injury. De Colo has played at least 27 minutes in each of his last two games, but he's not involved enough in the offense to be worth a pickup in most formats.

Nando De Colo suffered a nasal fracture in the second quarter and returned to the game with a mask.

He caught an elbow to the face from Andrei Kirilenko and was down on the court for a couple minutes before the training staff tended to him. De Colo and Matt Bonner will both be sporting masks, which should get a couple chuckles from those watching on Thursday. He finished with 11 points, three boards, two assists, two steals and one block.
