Gaffney is under contract with the German team Tlekom Baskets Bonn, but his deal allows him to attend an NBA training camp. He's never appeared in an NBA game.

Gaffney has drawn passing interest from NBA teams since leaving college in 2008-09, earning a few unguaranteed deals and trips to the D-League, but he's yet to appear in an NBA game.

Tony Gaffney is drawing interest from multiple NBA teams, according to Hoopsworld.

Gaffney played for Utah's summer league team before signing in Spain, but he previously had a stint with the Celtics and was also in a previous training camp with the Lakers, so we wouldn't be surprised if he signs on with a team stateside.

Tony Gaffney will reportedly play for the Jazz during summer league.

Gaffney, a product of the University of Massachusetts, spent this season playing in Germany. He won the 2009-10 A-10 Defensive Player of the Year and has previously spent time with the Celtics.

Tony Gaffney has signed with the German team Telekom Baskets Bonn.

Gaffney played for Turk Telekom Ankara in Turkey for part of last year before moving back to the U.S. where he played in the D-League for the Utah Flash, averaging 10.3 ppg, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 38 games. The UMass product was the 2009-09 Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year and was previously in the NBA with the Celtics.

Gaffney provides some insurance for Boston's frontcourt, but even if he got significant minutes (he won't) it's too late for him in fantasy leagues.
