Garrett Temple went 0-of-9 from the field for zero points with one rebound, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes on Saturday.
Hey, at least he played on a back-to-back set. Temple is likely going to get nights off at some point, so it's really tough to count on him as a fantasy asset. Nov 19 - 12:20 AM

Garrett Temple scored 14 points with four rebounds, two assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes against the Blazers on Friday.

While this game was solid, there's a very good chance Temple doesn't play on Saturday night. He'll be really tough to trust in fantasy on weekly basis.
Nov 18 - 12:58 AM

Garrett Temple scored 10 points with three rebounds, one assist, three steals and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Pistons on Saturday.

This rotation was a total mess with 12 different players logging at least six minutes in the first half. Temple got the start with George Hill (personal) out today, but Temple himself will probably get some days off, as well. He's really tough to use in fantasy.
Nov 4 - 9:21 PM

De'Aaron Fox, Garrett Temple, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Zach Randolph and Garrett Temple will start against the Pistons on Saturday.

We'll see what coach Dave Joerger has in store for his rotation today and maybe Skal Labissiere is in the rotation.
Nov 4 - 7:11 PM

Garrett Temple scored two points with one rebound, two assists, one steal and one turnover in 20 minutes during a start against the Celtics on Wednesday.

He is probably going to get rested again at some point this season, so fantasy owners shouldn't have to deal with that problem. Leave Temple on the wire.
Nov 1 - 11:27 PM

Garrett Temple (rest) will not play Tuesday vs. the Pacers.

Temple is averaging 23.5 minutes per game off the bench for the Kings this season. His absence will open up more playing time for Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Vince Carter.
Oct 31 - 2:02 PM

Garrett Temple hit 8-of-13 shots and a career-high six 3-pointers to tie his career high of 23 points with two rebounds and one assist off the bench in Monday's loss to the Suns.

The Kings rolled with their bench after falling behind and nearly everyone on it went off tonight, including Temple. His previous season high was eight points and other than stealing the ball, he hadn't been at all impressive coming into this game. But he was great tonight and may have earned some more minutes going forward. But with Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic in front of him on the depth chart, there's no reason to get too excited about Temple right now.
Oct 24 - 1:43 AM

Kings beat reporter James Ham expects Garrett Temple to start at shooting guard this season.

Temple is a great fit on and off the court for the Kings, but he's easy to overlook because of all the talk surrounding Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic. Ham adds that Temple will play "significant minutes" this season and that he will likely be asked to play some SF as well. Even if Temple wins the starting job in camp, he offers very little upside outside of 3-pointers and steals, so Hield and Bogdanovic are more appealing in the late rounds.
Sep 14 - 10:40 AM

Garrett Temple (rest) will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday.

The Kings will roll with a guard rotation of Langston Galloway, Tyreke Evans, Buddy Hield, Arron Afflalo and Ben McLemore -- they could rule out more players, as well. Temple played 27 minutes on Tuesday, so there's a decent chance those minutes just go to Afflalo after not playing yesterday.
Apr 12 - 5:30 PM

Garrett Temple started Sunday's game in place of Arron Afflalo (rest), scoring 13 points with five rebounds, four steals, three 3-pointers and one assist in 36 minutes of action.

The Kings' rotations have been a mess all season and it's only getting worse in the final week, as coach Dave Joerger continues to rest batches of players on a nightly basis. Temple was coming off a DNP-CD and is impossible to trust, since he has DNPs in three of his past six games. There should be better streaming options on every waiver wire.
Apr 9 - 9:13 PM

Garrett Temple (rest) will be in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockets.

Temple can be viewed as a steals and 3-point specialist in deep leagues, but he doesn't have much standard league appeal at all.
Apr 9 - 6:08 PM

Garrett Temple (rest) will not play against the Lakers on Friday.

The Kings have been alternating Temple's rest days. He played 22 minutes on Tuesday and played both guard positions, so expect Langston Galloway to back up Darren Collison tonight.
Apr 7 - 4:39 PM

Garrett Temple ended up with just three points, five rebounds, five assists, three steals and a blocked shot in 22 minutes Tuesday against Dallas.

Temple struggled with his shot, hitting just one of his five field goal tries while missing all three of his triple attempts. However, he salvaged the line with a solid amount of steals, assists and rebounds. He remains nothing more than fantasy filler in deeper formats unless the team elects to rest Buddy Hield at some point over the remaining games.
Apr 5 - 2:13 AM

Garrett Temple (rest) will not play against the Timberwolves on Saturday.

Tyreke Evans (rest) is also out. Arron Afflalo (personal) will play on Saturday and should see plenty of minutes. Ditto for Buddy Hield. Ben McLemore could see an uptick as well.
Apr 1 - 1:48 PM

Garrett Temple (rest) will not play against the Jazz on Wednesday

There should be a heavy dose of Buddy Hield with Temple out for today. Tyreke Evans and Langston Galloway should get minutes, as well.
