Garrett Temple made another start for Bradley Beal on Wednesday and hit 4-of-11 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in a blowout loss.
Temple has been playing reasonably well in Beal's stead, scoring in double figures in three straight games. However, he's not doing enough to be relied upon, and Beal is getting closer to a return after missing his seventh straight game tonight with a leg injury. Feb 25 - 11:55 PM

Garrett Temple made another start for Bradley Beal (leg) on Tuesday, notching 10 points, two 3-pointers, three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 32 minutes vs. the Warriors.

Beal doesn't have a return date but he's inching closer every day, and Temple is a shaky fantasy option even while he's holding down the starting SG job. He's worth a look if you're targeting 3-pointers (1.3 per game as a starter) and steals (1.5), but that's about it.

Making another fill-in start for Bradley Beal (leg) on Sunday, Garrett Temple scored 12 points with three 3-pointers, four rebounds and one assist.

He made 4-of-7 shots in 30 minutes of action, but also posted the team's worst +/- rating at -27. Deep-league owners may find him useful for a trickle of points, 3-pointers, rebounds and steals, but his upside is too limited for use in standard leagues even while Beal is sidelined.
Feb 22 - 6:36 PM

Garrett Temple will replace Otto Porter Jr. in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Pistons.

As a starter this season, Temple is averaging just 6.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 three-pointers, and 1.6 steals per game limiting his value to deep leagues. Temple, Porter, and Rasual Butler will all split minutes to help fill the void left by Bradley Beal, but none of these guys have played well enough lately to be owned in standard leagues.
Feb 22 - 3:22 PM

Garrett Temple started at shooting guard on Monday with seven points, three rebounds, three assists, three steals and one 3-pointer.

Coach Randy Wittman went with the matchup of Temple on Victor Oladipo and it worked. Temple doesn't really get plays drawn up for him and he only had a 6.8 usage rate tonight. He can be left on the wire in almost all leagues.
Feb 9 - 11:11 PM

Garrett Temple will start against the Magic on Monday.

This was the expected move on Saturday, but coach Randy Wittman mixed it up and went with Otto Porter. Regardless, we shouldn't see Temple or Porter involved in the offense much. Rasual Butler should be able to bury a few treys tonight, though.
Feb 9 - 6:18 PM

Garrett Temple (heel) is available to play on Monday vs. the Heat.

He did not play in the last two games and is not going to be very helpful while Bradley Beal is healthy. Temple has no fantasy value right now.

Garrett Temple (heel) is expected to play on Monday after going through shootaround.

Temple played all of 26 seconds in his last game, and although he's listed as questionable, Temple says he's "good" and will play on Monday. With Bradley Beal back in the starting lineup, Temple is waiver wire fodder.

Garrett Temple (heel) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. the Heat.

With Bradley Beal back in the starting lineup, Temple hasn't been worth using in most leagues. Over the past two weeks Temple has shot just 2-of-11 from the field for a grand total of eight points and not much else. Owners in very deep leagues can use Temple as a steals specialist, but he can remain on the waiver wire in most cases.

Garrett Temple had another quiet game on Tuesday with five points, three assists and one steal vs. the Hawks, but he continues to start at SG ahead of Bradley Beal.

Temple got off to a fast start this season but to say he's slowed down is an understatement -- he's scored a combined 21 points in the Wizards' past eight games. He's a steady source of steals, which could come in handy in very deep formats, but that's about it.

Garrett Temple played just 10 minutes and didn't score against the Cavs on Friday.

His run is over now that Bradley Beal is back and ready to roll. Temple did overachieve, but he can be cut everywhere now.

Garrett Temple has been dealing with a minor right wrist injury.

Temple came out of the gates firing this year, but over the past five games his play has fallen off substantially, as he's only averaging 2.6 points per game. Bradley Beal's impending return from his own wrist injury further clouds Temple's fantasy value, and he can be cut in nearly all formats.

Garrett Temple played just 23 minutes against the Magic on Saturday with one point, three rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block.

It wasn't a bad line, but the minutes are the issue here. Bradley Beal (wrist) is expected to be back on Friday, so Temple owners should be looking elsewhere for the upcoming week.
Sat, Nov 15, 2014 09:57:00 PM

Garrett Temple stayed cold against the Pacers on Saturday with three points, six rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-poitner in 31 minutes.

He had just three points on Friday and that three-game stretch of 17.0 points per game from earlier this season has come to a screeching haul. Temple is not worth owning in most leagues and will lose a lot of minutes upon Bradley Beal's (wrist) return.
Sat, Nov 8, 2014 10:03:00 PM

Garrett Temple made another start at SG on Wednesday and had 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and four 3-pointers on 6-of-14 shooting in an OT win over the Pacers.

That's not all, as he played a team-high 43 minutes. He'll quickly fade away once Bradley Beal is healthy, but Temple is now averaging 15.75 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 3.0 3-pointers over his last four games. If you can get him into your lineup, do it before Beal gets healthy.
