Garrett Temple (hamstring) got a lot of shots up during the Wizards' practice on Sunday, and there's a chance he can return later in their first round series against the Raptors.
Temple isn't a major part of the Wizards' rotations, and considering he's been sidelined since March 9, he would likely return in a very limited role. Ramon Sessions will be Washington's primary backup point guard for as long as Temple is sidelined, but he's not going to get enough minutes to matter in almost any format. Apr 19 - 2:25 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday, and he will not play when the Wizards kick off their series against the Raptors on Saturday.

Temple said that he's hopeful to play at some point during the playoffs, but he's not a major piece to Washington's puzzle, and he'd be unlikely to earn many minutes even when he's eventually cleared to return. Ramon Sessions and Will Bynum will continue to get a bulk of the backup point guard minutes for the Wizards, but with John Wall healthy, they're going to be nearly invisible on the stat sheet.
Apr 16 - 4:18 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) will not suit up for Tuesday's game vs. the Pacers.

Ramon Sessions and Will Bynum will split Temple's reserve minutes, but with John Wall healthy, neither guy is worth owning in most leagues.
Apr 14 - 6:55 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) is targeting a return on Apr. 12 or 14 and is currently at 80 percent.

He's questionable to return this regular season. With Temple out, Otto Porter and Martell Webster will get a little more playing time. Temple was expected to miss 4-6 weeks and this coming Monday will be four weeks.
Apr 3 - 4:50 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) did not participate in practice on Thursday.

Temple is progressing as he was able to get some running in on the practice floor, but he's still not worth owning in any fantasy leagues. Even if he is able to return on Friday against the Knicks, he won't see enough minutes to make a difference for fantasy owners.
Apr 2 - 1:55 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) did not practice on Tuesday.

Temple has been sidelined since March 9, has not been able to practice, and remains without a clear timetable to return. We're going to consider him very doubtful for Wednesday's game vs. the 76ers, and he belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Mar 31 - 2:09 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) will not play vs. the Rockets on Sunday.

Temple still isn't practicing and he is probably looking at some additional time on the sidelines. He wasn't a fantasy asset even when he was healthy, so he belongs on the waiver wire in just about all leagues.
Mar 29 - 11:06 AM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) will remain sidelined for Friday's game vs. the Hornets.

Temple still hasn't been able to practice, so he doesn't seem close to making a return. He belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Mar 27 - 5:27 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) was spotted getting up some shots following Thursday's practice.

Temple was not able to practice on Thursday, and has been out since March 9, so we'll be considering him doubtful for Friday's game vs. Charlotte. With season averages of just 3.9 points on 40.0 percent shooting from the field, he belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Mar 26 - 3:08 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) is not accompanying the Wizards on their current four-game road trip.

The Wizards don't return to Washington until March 25, so it sounds like Temple could be looking at an extended absence. Rasual Butler and Ramon Sessions will continue to split Temple's reserve minutes with him sidelined, but their not doing enough on the stat sheet to matter in standard leagues.
Mar 17 - 2:40 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) will not play on Monday against the Blazers.

He is likely out for a while and the Wizards won't need him with Brad Beal back. Keep Temple on the wire.
Mar 16 - 6:59 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) will meet with the team doctor on Wednesday to decide on an official timetable for his return, but he will miss Thursday's game vs. the Grizzlies.

According to a person familiar with the situation, Temple's MRI results came back "decent," but given his history in recovering from this injury we expect him to be sidelined for at least a week, if not longer. Rasual Butler, Otto Porter, and Ramon Sessions will get some more run in his absence, but their not going to be able to offer enough to the box score to be considered viable options in standard leagues.
Mar 10 - 3:16 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) is awaiting the results of an MRI done on Tuesday.

Temple tweaked his right hamstring during Monday's game against Charlotte and was unable to return. "I'm more of a stride runner than a push down, marching type so [I'm] a little more prone to having that happen so I got to get my running mechanics back." We'll update the results of his MRI as soon as more information is available, but Rasual Butler, Otto Porter, and Ramon Sessions would look to get more run if Temple misses any time.
Mar 10 - 12:54 PM

Garrett Temple suffered a right hamstring strain on Monday and will not return.

He was in a lot of pain and had a limp going to the locker room. Temple won't be needed as long as Bradley Beal is healthy, so expect the Wizards to take it easy on him. Temple finished with two points in 19 minutes.
Mar 9 - 9:02 PM

Garrett Temple made another start for Bradley Beal on Wednesday and hit 4-of-11 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in a blowout loss.

Temple has been playing reasonably well in Beal's stead, scoring in double figures in three straight games. However, he's not doing enough to be relied upon, and Beal is getting closer to a return after missing his seventh straight game tonight with a leg injury.
