Garrett Temple will return to the bench for Saturday's game vs. the Pistons.
Bradley Beal (shoulder) is back from a three-game absence and will reclaim his spot in the starting lineup, so this is not a surprise. Temple played well in Beal's absence, but it's safe to drop him in most leagues. Nov 21 - 6:49 PM

Garrett Temple scored 10 points in 30 minutes against the Bucks on Tuesday with two rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

Bradley Beal (shoulder) was unable to go for this game and is getting a little closer. The Wizards are off until Nov. 21, so Beal's chances of being ready for that game are pretty high.
Nov 17 - 10:05 PM

Garrett Temple will remain in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Bucks with Bradley Beal (shoulder) on the sidelines.

The Wizards will start John Wall, Temple, Otto Porter, Kris Humphries and Marcin Gortat on Tuesday. Temple is coming off an 18-point performance, so he's worth a look in daily leagues. Otto Porter should also see some increased opportunity on offense sans Beal.

Randy Wittman praised Garrett Temple's energy after Saturday's win over Orlando.

"I thought Garrett was huge. He gave us great energy," Wittman said. "Starting him, both from an offensive standpoint and defensively just gives us that energizer bunny that we need and he let things come to him from an offensive standpoint." It's possible that Temple starts taking minutes from Gary Neal when Bradley Beal (left shoulder) returns, as Neal is shooting just 29.4 percent from distance.
Nov 16 - 12:39 PM

Garrett Temple was terrific in a start against the Magic on Saturday with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.

He started for Bradley Beal (shoulder) after he was ruled out within an hour to tip, so Beal should be ready to go Tuesday with a week off. Temple gets a ton of credit for this game, though. Leave him on the wire in almost all leagues.
Nov 14 - 10:02 PM

Garrett Temple will start in place of Bradley Beal (shoulder) for Saturday's game vs. the Magic.

The Wizards were expected to go with Gary Neal in the first unit again, but head coach Randy Wittman is probably wanting to match up better with Evan Fournier's size. Temple isn't worth using in almost any league and his usage rate should be very low.
Nov 14 - 6:27 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) played 16 minutes off Washington's bench vs. the Heat, scoring five points with three rebounds, one assist and one block.

Temple gives the Wizards veteran backcourt depth but he's a non-entity in fantasy leagues. Avoid him unless a string of injuries thrust him into a prominent role.
Oct 21 - 11:29 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) will play on Wednesday.

He's had a few hamstring injuries in his history, so he must be close to 100 percent. Temple can be ignored in most formats.
Oct 21 - 6:47 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) did not play in Saturday's preseason win over the Bucks.

Temple's hamstring has been problematic for almost two weeks now, and he's going to have to show some improvement in short order with the regular season set to begin next week.
Oct 19 - 9:42 AM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) practiced on Wednesday, but he did not finish.

He had a hamstring issue cost him about a week of practice and it might cost him more playing time. Temple has very little fantasy value while Bradley Beal and John Wall are healthy.
Oct 14 - 2:38 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) did not practice on Monday.

Barring something catastrophic, Temple has no fantasy value as the third string point guard in Washington.
Oct 12 - 1:02 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) will not suit up for Sunday's preseason game against Paschoalotto Bauru.

As the third-string point guard in Washington, Temple has zero fantasy value with the team healthy.
Oct 11 - 4:57 PM

Garrett Temple (hamstring) will not play against the Knicks on Friday.

He has a number of hamstring issues in his career and the team will hold him out. Temple has no fantasy value.
Oct 9 - 5:39 PM

The Wizards are not interested in trading Garrett Temple, according to J. Michael of CSN Washington.

Despite earlier reports, Michael says the Wizards really like Temple and would like to keep him around. Temple's fantasy value is limited as long as he's in Washington as he's more of a backup option, but we'll keep an eye on the trade front as he could see a boost in his fantasy stock in a new locale.
Aug 11 - 10:33 AM

The Wizards have not been contacted by the Jazz about Garrett Temple.

It's no secret the Jazz need a point guard with Dante Exum (knee) out for the season. Trey Burke was awful as the starter last season while their only other point guards on their roster are Bryce Cotton and Raul Neto.
