Reggie Williams will be the Bobcats' backup point guard while Ramon Sessions (knee) is out.
Sessions has a sprained MCL and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks. Look for Williams, who has been taking DNP-CDs more often than not this season, to now get locked into 15 minutes a night. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Gerald Henderson will also assume more ball-handling duties, while coach Mike Dunlap will ask Kemba Walker to be "Superman." Mar 8 - 6:09 PM

Reggie Williams had a season-high 10 points against the Nuggets on Saturday, adding two rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer.

Garbage time was a factor and six of his 10 points came in the fourth quarter. He can be left on the waiver wire with Gerald Henderson's shin injury not serious.

Reggie Williams and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will split third-string point guard duties, according to Mike Dunlap.

Williams played four minutes and went scoreless on Monday, while Kidd-Gilchrist played 34 minutes. If nothing else, this could boost Kidd-Gilchrist's time on the floor by just a bit, but Williams shouldn't be sniffing fantasy rosters in any format right now.

Reggie Williams (knee) will not play on Thursday against the Knicks.

Williams' year was a disappointment, and is accentuated by all the talk by Paul Silas about what a special player he would be.

Reggie Williams' ailing knee will prevent him from playing on Wednesday.

Williams has been struggling along on the bum knee, so his absence is no real surprise. We're assuming he's out for Thursday's season finale, too, but that's yet to be confirmed.

Reggie Williams (knee) played 10 minutes against the Wizards on Monday.

Williams would be better served getting rest than cluttering up an already dysfunctional situation in Charlotte. He has no fantasy value.

Reggie Williams (knee) is expected to play in Monday's game against the Wizards.

After a four-game absence, Williams will likely play a bit role on the wing behind Gerald Henderson.

Reggie Williams, who was expected to play on Sunday after returning from a concussion, will not suit up against the Kings due to a sore knee.

This just confirms what we already knew: Williams is not worth owning in any fantasy league.

Reggie Williams (concussion) will return to action for the Bobcats on Sunday.

The Bobcats have lost 19 consecutive games and will obviously welcome Reggie back with open arms. He will likely be rusty, however, and there's no reason to trust him in fantasy leagues over the final few games of the season.

Reggie Williams (concussion) will sit out at least five more days.

Williams should not be owned in any leagues at this point as he's not a certainty to return this season.
Wed, Apr 18, 2012 11:01:00 AM

Paul Silas said that it would be a "surprise" if Reggie Williams (concussion) plays again this season.

If this is the end of the year for Williams, he'll finish with averages of 8.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 treys on 41.5 percent shooting. Needless to say, the swingman shouldn't be owned in any league at this point. Derrick Brown will continue to play most of the minutes at small forward.

Reggie Williams (concussion) did not play on Monday against the Hornets.

Williams has dealt with a gimpy knee and botched all of the opportunities that he has had to be productive. Adding a concussion to that mix means he should remain on the wire.

Reggie Williams sustained a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Celtics.

The severity is unknown right now, but the 7-52 Bobcats have just six games left in the season after Monday. They should be getting Derrick Brown and Kemba Walker as many minutes as possible anyway.
Mon, Apr 16, 2012 01:17:00 PM

Reggie Williams scored eight points off the bench on Friday, hitting 3-of-6 shots (including two threes) with four rebounds and one block in 22 minutes.

Williams has bounced on and off the fantasy radar, but he hasn't done anything with his opportunities and we're going to put him to rest until he shows any signs of life.
Sat, Apr 14, 2012 12:22:00 AM

Reggie Williams (knee) returned to action on Thursday, scoring seven points on 3-of-5 shooting (including a three) with no other stats in 17 minutes.

Given Williams' inconsistency and the general disarray in Charlotte, we're recommending that owners wait-and-see before taking a chance on him.
