The Pelicans have signed G Elliot Williams to another 10-day contract on Saturday.

He is averaging 4.0 points, 1.0 assist and 1.0 rebound in 11.0 minutes per game in three appearances for the Pelicans, and unless his role grows significantly, he is only worth monitoring in deeper leagues.

The Pelicans have signed G Elliot Williams to a 10-day contract on Wednesday.

He participated in the team's shootaround and is expected to be available for Wednesday's game vs. the Pistons. However, Williams likely won't be in the rotation right out of the gate, so owners in deeper leagues can simply monitor him from the waiver wire for now.
Mar 4 - 11:22 AM

The Pelicans are expected to sign G Elliot Williams to a 10-day contract.

Williams played five games for the Jazz earlier in the season on a 10-day deal, and put in averages of 3.6 points and 1.0 three-pointer per game on 46.2 percent shooting from the field. He'll help add some depth to New Orleans’ backcourt, but he's well off the radar in standard leagues. Leave him on the wire.
Mar 3 - 4:18 PM

The Hornets signed guard Elliot Williams to a 10-day contract on Wednesday.

The Hornets waived point guard Jannero Pargo in order to clear a roster spot, and Williams is expected to be available for Thursday's game against the Wizards. Williams previously signed a couple of 10-day contracts with the Jazz but wasn't able to ink a long-term deal with them. Gerald Henderson and Lance Stephenson are both currently healthy, so it's hard to imagine Williams earning a decent role right out of the gate in Charlotte. Owners in deep leagues can simply monitor Williams from the waiver wire for now.

The Hornets are expected to give Elliot Williams a 10-day contract.

Williams recently signed two 10-day deals with the Jazz, but Utah elected to let him walk after his second 10-day contract expired. He averaged 3.6 points and not much else through five games with the Jazz, and his status as a hands-off guy in standard leagues will not change with the move to Charlotte.

The Utah Jazz will not re-sign Elliot Williams when his second 10-day contract expires.

This move comes as no surprise as Williams has only played in two of the Jazz' last five games. He's averaged 3.6 points in five games with the Jazz this season and can be left on the wire even if he hooks on with another team.
Jan 27 - 9:34 AM

The Utah Jazz have signed Elliot Williams to another 10-day contract on Saturday as expected.

He has averaged 2.7 points in 8.6 minutes per game with the Jazz so far, and there is no reason to think that his role will grow especially with Rodney Hood returning from injury. Leave him on the wire.
Jan 17 - 11:59 AM

Elliot Williams is expected to sign another 10-day contract with the Jazz.

He has seen very limited playing time with the Jazz and is only averaging 2.7 points per game, so owners can leave him on the waiver wire in most leagues.

The Utah Jazz signed guard Elliot Williams to a 10-day contract on Wednesday, and he will join the team in Chicago for their game on Wednesday.

The Jazz have an obvious need for a shooting guard considering Alec Burks (shoulder) is out for the season and Rodney Hood (heel) is still sidelined, so Williams will likely battle Elijah Millsap, Joe Ingles, Ian Clark and Dante Exum for playing time for the time being. Needless to say, owners in standard leagues should use a wait-and-see approach here.

Elliot Williams is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Jazz, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.

Williams is in Salt Lake City for a physical and is expected to join the Jazz as long as his physical doesn't raise any red flags. The 25-year-old has most recently been playing with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the D-League, but won't be a relevant fantasy option if and when he signs with the Jazz.
Jan 6 - 12:55 PM

Santa Cruz guard Elliot Williams is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Jazz.

He's in Salt Lake City taking a physical on Tuesday and should sign a contract if all goes well. He'll offer some back up point guard help and see some shooting guard minutes off the bench, but not enough to make a fantasy difference.
Jan 6 - 12:53 PM

The 76ers waived Elliot Williams on Monday.

Williams actually had a decent preseason for the 76ers, which might be why they decided to waive him, as they’re not an organization in the business of winning. Williams might be able to land with another team, but he's going to be an irrelevant fantasy option wherever that may be.

Elliot Williams played just 17 minutes off the bench for the 76ers on Thursday with 10 points, three assists, two rebounds and one 3-pointer.

He was efficient at 3-of-4 from the field, which has been the story all along. Williams played very well on offense and he probably earned himself a roster spot. Fantasy owners in even 16-team leagues can probably ignore this for now.

Elliot Williams cooled off against the Nets on Monday, making 5-of-15 from the field for 11 points with two rebounds, four assists, three steals and three turnovers.

As ugly as this shooting line is, it wasn't as bad as it looked. He was getting plenty of clean looks and just missed all five shots from beyond the arc. Williams was remarkably efficient coming into tonight, so we still like his chances as a deep sleeper. It's a total guessing game for what the 76ers are going to do on the wing, but Williams could be part of the solution and certainly deserves a chance.
