Terrico White is drawing interest from the Italian team Virtus Bologna.

White was released by the Pistons in December of 2011, and after playing in Las Vegas summer league, he's drawing some interest from overseas. He was cut by the Hornets in training camp before the 2011-12 season and is likely better off overseas.

Pistons guard Terrico White tweeted Wednesday that the Pistons have released him.

White's foot injury cost him his rookie year, and second round draft picks generally don't survive that type of situation. That said, we wouldn't be surprised to see him land elsewhere if his above-average athleticism hasn't been impacted by the injury.

Pistons G Terrico White (foot) went through a full-contact practice Tuesday for the first time since his injury.

White, the Pistons' second-round pick this season, broke his foot on opening night. He's unlikely to crack the rotation before the season ends.

Pistons second-round G Terrico White (foot) could still be out another two months.

White is getting fitted for a walking boot Tuesday. He was set for a meager role anyway with the glutton of Pistons' veteran wing players eating up all the minutes.

Pistons rookie Terrico White had surgery on Friday to repair his broken foot.

White will have the foot immobilized for six weeks before beginning rehab, at which point another timetable should be established.

Pistons rookie Terrico White broke his foot during Tuesday's preseason game.

Bad news for Detroit, though White is considered a project combo guard and wasn't going to get regular minutes in a crowded rotation of wing players. We should soon have a timetable for his return.

Pistons signed second round G Terrico White to a two-year contract.

The first year of the deal is guaranteed and the second year is not. A developmental combo guard project, White is unlikely to crack the Pistons main rotation this season -- especially after the Pistons signed Tracy McGrady.

Rookie combo guard Terrico White has impressed so far in Summer League, giving up only two turnovers in 80 minutes running the point for the Pistons.

He is a Rodney Stuckey clone at 6'5" tall and 213 pounds, and he has turned some heads with his athleticism while averaging 11 points per game on 65% shooting. It's too soon to expect much from him in fantasy leagues, but if the injury bug hits Detroit he may be able to answer the call.

Pistons selected Ole Miss G Terrico White with the 36th pick in the draft.

A combo guard with tremendous athleticism, White has the same rap as most of the guards going this late. His jump shot leaves something to be desired. Still, there's upside here and it's a good pick for the Pistons.

Ole Miss sophomore guard Terrico White will forgo his final two years of eligibility and remain in the NBA draft.

He's projected to be taken in Round 2, but could improve his stock between now and June. White averaged 15.1 points per game for the Rebels last season.
