Kevin Seraphin was noncommittal when asked about a potential return to the Knicks next season.
"We will see what’s going on, because it still is a business," Seraphin said. "I don’t like to address that stuff too much because we never know what’s going to happen." That's a rather lukewarm endorsement of the current situation, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the big man move on to another club. Apr 11 - 1:34 PM

Kurt Rambis called Kevin Seraphin an "intriguing player," praising his size and strength in the process.

"Kevin, he’s an intriguing player. He has been for us all year," Rambis said. "He’s got great strength and size but tremendous mobility. He can really move his feet. … Sometimes he has trouble stopping once he gets going, but he’s just an interesting player. He hasn’t been playing basketball that long, so he needs to let his game blossom, and we’re trying to figure out where he can be best suited for us in terms of where he can play." The Knicks probably should have started this process earlier in the season, but Seraphin does figure to get in some extra run with Kristaps Porzingis (shoulder) sidelined and New York out of postseason contention.
Apr 3 - 3:12 PM

Kevin Seraphin scored 12 points with seven rebounds and one steal in 22 minutes against the Nets on Friday.

He's getting some extra minutes with Kristaps Porzingis (shoulder) likely out. Seraphin is only worth a look in very deep leagues.
Apr 1 - 10:17 PM

Kevin Seraphin (foot) had two points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 12 bench minutes vs. the Bulls on Wednesday.

The Knicks' big man looked good tonight, but he has a bit role in the rotation and isn't worth considering while Robin Lopez is healthy.
Mar 23 - 11:28 PM

Kevin Seraphin (foot) will be available to play Wednesday vs. Chicago.

Seraphin sat out Sunday's loss to Sacramento with a minor foot issue, but he'll be available tonight. That being said, Seraphin is rarely a meaningful part of the rotation so he belongs on the waiver wire just about everywhere.
Mar 23 - 10:58 AM

Kevin Seraphin (sore left foot) was unable to practice on Tuesday.

While Seraphin was unable to practice, he said he foot injury is just a minor one. There's a chance that he'll be able to play against the Bulls on Wednesday, but his limited role with the Knicks doesn't justify a roster spot in standard fantasy leagues.
Mar 22 - 12:50 PM

Kevin Seraphin (sore left foot) will not play Sunday vs. Sacramento.

With Seraphin on the sidelines Sunday night, Kyle O'Quinn will likely pick up most of his minutes, but neither of these guys can be considered viable targets in most settings. X-rays on Seraphin's foot were negative.
Mar 20 - 6:01 PM

Kevin Seraphin is hoping for more minutes following the dismissal of coach Derek Fisher.

"I just hope for more playing time," Seraphin said. "That’s the goal. It’s a new opportunity for sure." Seraphin has dropped 25 pounds and is eager to carve out a role, and he logged 15 minutes on Tuesday vs. the Wizards which was just the third time that he saw 15 or minutes since the new year. Unless his role continues to grow, he will only be on the radar in very deep leagues.
Feb 13 - 11:26 AM

Kevin Seraphin (ribs) didn't play vs. the Jazz on Wednesday.

The former Wizard has struggled to find a consistent role under coach Derek Fisher, and until he does he's strictly hands-off in fantasy leagues.
Jan 20 - 11:48 PM

Kevin Seraphin (bruised ribs) will be available to play Wednesday vs. the Jazz.

Seraphin isn't a major part of the rotation, and he might not even take the floor tonight. Leave him on the wire.
Jan 20 - 5:52 PM

Kevin Seraphin (bruised rib) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Jazz.

Neither player has much relevance in standard fantasy leagues, but Seraphin's absence on Wednesday would open up a few extra minutes for Kyle O'Quinn.
Jan 19 - 1:58 PM

Updating a previous item, Kevin Seraphin (bruised rib) will not play on Monday vs. Philadelphia.

Seraphin was questionable coming in, so it's not a shock to see him out. Kyle O'Quinn should pick up a few extra minutes.
Jan 18 - 11:28 AM

Kevin Seraphin (bruised rib) is questionable to face the Sixers on Monday.

If Seraphin sits, Kyle O'Quinn should see a few more minutes, but neither player is going to hold relevance in standard formats at this time.
Jan 18 - 10:26 AM

Kevin Seraphin suffered a brusied rib on Saturday vs. the Grizzlies and will not return.

Seraphin is usually not in the rotation, but he played five minutes in this one because Kristaps Porzingis and Robin Lopez were in foul trouble. X-rays were negative, so Seraphin should be considered day-to-day.
Jan 16 - 9:11 PM

Kevin Seraphin is beginning to find his place with the Knicks.

"I think he’s getting more comfortable being on this team and understanding what it is we’re asking our big men to do offensively and defensively," Derek Fisher said. Seraphin played a season-high 32 minutes on Sunday with 14 points, seven boards, four dimes, a steal and four blocks, but his role and production is too volatile to be relied upon.
