Jordan Crawford denied on Twitter on Thursday that he trash talked Carmelo Anthony's wife after Wednesday's Game 5 win by Boston.
What Crawford did or didn't say about Anthony's wife has taken on a life of its own in the wake of Game 5 and actually dates back to Melo's brief feud with Kevin Garnett earlier this season. We sincerely doubt that Anthony needs motivation to beat the Celtics, but just in case he did, whatever Crawford said Wednesday night certainly can't hurt. May 2 - 5:33 PM

"I'm not playing him right now," Rivers said of Lee. "Jordan has moved ahead of him on the depth chart." It's another reminder that Lee's first season in Boston has been nothing short of disappointment.

Jordan Crawford led the Celtics with 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 6-of-14 shooting in 36 minutes on Wednesday.

The Celtics will face the Knicks in New York in Game 1 of the playoffs on Saturday and the Knicks are really banged up. The Celtics rested most of their guys tonight, but most of them will be ready for the playoffs, so don't expect too many games like this out of Crawford in the postseason.

Jordan Crawford took advantage of Jason Terry's suspension on Saturday, scoring 16 points with two 3-pointers, three rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes.

Crawford hit 7-of-10 field goals, a rare burst of efficiency which was kindly allowed by Orlando's defense. This makes two solid games in a row for J-Craw, and he should continue to log 25+ minutes with Jason Terry iffy to return during the regular season.

Jordan Crawford started with the Celtics resting players on Friday, and scored 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes.

There isn't any doubt about Crawford's ability to put up numbers when on the floor, but gauging his value will be difficult with Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett likely to bounce in and out of the lineup. He's worth a look without a doubt, but to some degree owners are rolling the dice here. Courtney Lee also benefited from the extra touches, scoring 18 points with two 3-pointers in the Celtics' loss.

The Celtics rested Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, making Crawford a good fit for the first unit tonight. This type of an arrangement could continue or be an on-and-off sort of thing going forward, so keep a close eye on Crawford -- who can get hot real quick.

Jordan Crawford returned to the bench on Wednesday since Chris Wilcox got a rare start at center for the Celtics, and had 12 points and four assists on 5-of-8 shooting in 26 minutes.

Crawford stayed relevant in 26 minutes and we doubt Wilcox will become a fixture in the starting five. As long as Courtney Lee remains out with his ankle injury, Crawford is worth keeping a close eye on. Jason Terry was quiet with five points in 21 minutes, and just hasn't been able to get it going off the Boston bench this season.

Jordan Crawford started at shooting guard for the Celtics on Tuesday and had 14 points, four rebounds, six assists, a steal and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes, hitting 5-of-11 shots.

Courtney Lee was out with an ankle injury, but is leaning toward playing in the next one. And if that happens, Crawford's fantasy value will be much more volatile in a return to the bench. He's not a must-own player right now, but is probably worth holding until we see how things go once Lee is back.

Courtney Lee (ankle) is out Tuesday and doubtful for Wednesday. We can safely pencil Crawford for 26-30 minutes in both games, which is plenty of time for him to get 12-18 shots up. If he can get hot, he'll be an asset for fantasy owners in the playoffs.

Jordan Crawford inspired a failed comeback vs. the Grizzlies on Saturday, scoring 21 points with five rebounds and three assists.

Crawford shot 5-of-13 from the field with two 3-pointers, but he also went 9-of-10 from the FT line. Courtney Lee is day-to-day with a sprained ankle and Doc Rivers basically had no choice but to play Crawford, so it's hard to read much into his 27 minutes of action. Proceed with caution.

This was a classic "garbage time" performance and was his highest point total since way back on Jan. 25, when he scored 19. He hadn't played more than 17 minutes in his previous eight games, so don't be fooled by tonight's surprising line.

While his performance was admirable, the fact he only got 16 minutes is the real story. Courtney Lee missed the entire fourth quarter after suffering an eye injury, which further clouds Crawford's role with the team. He's worth monitoring, but unless he suddenly starts getting 25 minutes per game, has no fantasy value.

"Jordan right now is consciously trying to be too good," said Rivers. "You see him trying to be a ball mover, and that’s not what he’s been and I don’t want him to be that way that much. He’s an aggressive scorer. But I like the way he’s trying to fit in." The Celtics are hopeful that being around veterans will changes Crawford's attitude, which has got him traded twice already in his brief career.
